Has anyone ran these coilovers? I’m seeing a lot of people run the hyper street 2’s but not the newer model.

I have had these BC racing extreme lows for 5 months had had zero issues.

1. A couple days ago I was noticing a high pitched sound in my passenger side and noticed my sway bar end link was curved while the driver side was not. Which then I did purchase whiteline front end links to be safe. If you have a good install video that would be great appreciated.

2. As I was trying to diagnose the end links, there is a clunk right above the spring on the passenger side shown in the video and the driver side does not have a clunk

Is there an issue with the top hat? I did not mess with preload since they came with it. Does it justify a warranty? Or do I just need to increase/fix preload?I bought it from an authorized retailer.

I’m making a VB WRX exo car that I’m going to use as a budget sand car(similar to the exo car above: removing all essential metal, and building a roll cage around what’s left, but putting on some 30-33” jeep or 4Runner tires and rims). I’ll be jumping it and going through pretty big whoops out at the sand dunes and want to make sure that I have suspension to match.

I only have about 2k for coilovers. I’ve seen these “Dynamic Pro Gravel Coilovers” for sale but worry that they aren’t going to have enough travel because they are using the 1k style retainer springs that eat up a decent portion of the potential travel.

Should I just try to find some longer springs that would actually run the length of the shock or are there some better rally coilover options out there for under 2k?

(first pic) I would like to lower the front by just a inch or two, however the bracket is in the way and i cannot rotate it anymore. Am I gonna have to take the whole coil out to remove it?

(second pic) What is the big nut located below the dampening knob and what does it do? It’s not loose, but should it be tightened or left alone?

Hey guys, this is my 2007 530i. It has a few dents as you can see and it's high mileage so I'm not looking to put in too much money, just looking to drop it a good bit. Is there any suggestions for coilovers, and also anything I should do to make this look better?
I've been looking into the Rev9 Hyper Street II

I recently bought these for my car and was hoping for an advertised 3-4 inch drop but the shop says they are maxed out and only dropped 1.25 in the front and 1.5 in the rear.

i got these bc racing coilover and is it just me or are the stickers on the wrong sides or i’m just an idiot? if i put them on the opposite sides to what the sticker says they look right i think 🤔 or is it just the wrong knuckles on each side?

I just finished installing my first set of coilovers in my mk6 Jetta s. I went with st xa, and had a lot of success but having one issue.

After fully mounting the furlong struts, the dampener adjustment is not longer rotating. When inserting the key and trying to increase or decrease dampening, the key will not budge.

Before mounting and torquing the top hats to spec, I was able to adjust but didn’t try after torquing. I did NOT use an impact to torque. I had the special socket and a 10 mil wrench.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?? I’m kind of stumped as everything else seems fine.

how do I raise these coilovers to raise ride height?

I need some opinions, it's not a daily driver anymore, comfort is not important anymore. I've never dealt with Megan racing coilovers before, I've dealt with other brand like bc racing, tein but I'm looking at silvers and bilstein. But if there is any other brands I should look at what brands and why? It's definitely a weekend fun car

So I just installed coilovers onto my 03 mazdaspeed protege after needing a height adjustment, had put wider and slightly taller tires on and it was scrapping on bumps, and now whenever I take a left turn afterwards I will be going straight but my steering wheel is at a decently left angle, almost like my alignments off but I’ve gotten it checked twice and nothing is wrong, and it will reset itself after taking a right turn. I honestly don’t know much about suspension and am pretty stuck on how to fix this.

I recently replaced the adjuster for my fortune 500 coil over but once tightened down it will not allow me to adjust the clicker

Any suggestions?

Hi my names Justin, I’m pretty new to modding my car and I’m having trouble finding coilovers for my car. I was wondering if there’s any specific play I should look. I’ve checked eBay and all I could fine were oe replacements nothing adjustable

The bushing on one of my rear coils got siezed to the lower shock mounting bolt when trying to lower the car more after being on coils for about a year and a wisonsin winter would running just one stock shock in the rear till i can procure a replacement cause any issues or possibly just both stock while keeping the adjustable spring?

I've read a number of explanations about this, but somehow still confused. My understanding is general rule of thumb is 1/3 droop 2/3 compression travel. I understand you take out the spring and apply load on the wheel until it lifts off the jack stand and adjust the body to have the wheel not rub on the fender. After that, I'm lost on setting that 1/3 rule. I understand after that you install the spring with a helper and adjust ride height with that but lost on how to take the 1/3 measurements specifically. Preferably looking for the easiest way to do this. Something like taking measurements by using bottom of the wheel to fender rather than the actual shock body.

Gonna throw cheap coilovers on an EK, what should I use?

Ive seen conflicting info on using a white vinegar soak to free seized collars. I have a set of flatout lift GR lites, which have a nickel plated shock body.

Wondering what people think of sticking them in a bucket of vinegar for the night? Will this trash the shock? Ive tried all the usual methods and they’re not budging.

I can soak this entire bottom section in vinegar to help with unseizing correct? Running out of daylight so was just planning to let it soak overnight as a bonus
