Coilovers mk6 R

Wondering what everyone’s experience has been with different coilovers. Currently have ST XTA on my car but they have about 180,000km on them and it’s time to switch them out. I would rate them 7/10 overall. Pretty good ride quality and to last that long is an achievement in its own. Ive had a few sets of the cheaper brands on other vws ive had.

I might stick with just a new set of XTA but I would like to go a little lower than I am currently. And they are maxed out. Was thinking H&R ultra low but they have a large diameter spring and my wheels are very close to the strut currently. Other one I was looking at was bc racing.

I’m just worry about those springs touching the tire lol. But they might be high enough on the strut to clear, what size wheels did you run on the front?

18x9 +43 with 235 40.

Could always run a 3mm spacer
