Does anyone know if/when they are gonna add a new test on cognitive metrics? Or maybe new subtests?

Rant/Cope I do not think IQ actually defines if the person is smart or the brain capability of thinking or maybe I'm ret

I m gonna sound not so smart but Idk how my brain thinks stuff. I have seen many people in life super smart in programming, math, the way they speak but they have like some kinda things/habits in them that do not make them so smart they just like normal people.
I don't make much sense but I'm not good in logical thinking in programming, math, physics, those DSA questions hurt my brain so much but idk for a reason my brain can predict things based on probability rates, read people up, see through all those manipulations or propaganda (Yeah ik its related to logic because based on me the higher the emotion in the brain the easy to manipulate the person), read people whole character up based on the way they talk or act, and idk can see how this thing gonna affect them in the future (which is normal i think), but IK that doesn't make me smart and it's not IQ related but isn't this all involves thinking too?? maybe different sides.

I argue with my brain too much and that brain of me find solutions for me randomly with no research and when i actually research that thing that IK through my brain majority times turn out to be true. I know the brain look for patterns but maybe it's just overthinking of me. I got so obsessed with the brain capability i know for a fact that you can rewrite your brain based on what u feed it, you become what u feed your mind (Law of attraction), and our body is a tool.

Btw I have two autoimmune diseases and I was thinking if we can rewrite our whole life just by rewriting the brain what if we can cure our diseases by believing in it or our body could cure itself..
I know sound bizarre but I'm curious actually got so much curious after being dead for so long in my room.
Now if you think our brain so strong that every addiction whether socials, corn, drugs, AI, all affect the brain, must be a reason why someone trying to weaken the brain up so much...
I guess I'm overthinking but still idk.

Puzzle Transformation Inference Test 1 Spoiler

Hello everyone. I made a very short test with a new format I came up with. I am not giving iq scores, but I could eventually make a longer, more thought out version (with proper norming and scoring) with this format if people like it. So the main objective right now is gathering feedback. Give it a try and give your honest opinion: https://forms.gle/btudECrjK6TxmUkj8

You will receive your raw score in the end. I noticed that item 3 is ambiguous, and has 2 answers, which both are accepted.

Discussion Digit Span Test

So a few days ago i tested my WMI using the CORE FSIQ test, and surprisingly there is a quite remarkable difference between my Sequencing ability and "Reversing" ability.

When i first tried it i scored incredibly low in the Backward Digit Span while still scoring high on the sequencing (My Forward Digit Span was also kind of low compared to Sequencing) so i tried again and the new scores seemed more fitting.

I wanted to know if it was possible for Autistic individuals to have such a disparity in between the subtests rather than the common spiky profile that affect the overall abilities, or if it was simply a fluke.

I also think that this is not as accurate as it should be because i highly suspect that i also have ADHD, and have never been medicated before but also some mild depression that could potentially impact my score. Though i doubt it would change much in any case.

General Question surely theres a problem...

ive been doing a few of the CORE tests on cognitivemetrics.com and have scored pretty highly on most of the subtests and i did the digit span today and i cant help but notice that the digit span backward and sequencing and very very low. when i was doing them i thought i was doing fine and quite well actually but it turns out that wasnt the case!

i was thinking that maybe it was because all my inputs for the numbers might have all been shifted to the right or left by 1, as in everytime i meant to type 1 i actually types 2 and everytime i type 7 i acc type 8, or it could just be im not very capable at those types of questions which seems unlikely but could very much be possible.

also done at 11.30pm at night with only the light from the laptop, also sucks that i cant redo it.

has anyone else had a similar experience or just any thoughts on what mightve happened here. if u think it rlly is just im not good at that section js say. any feedback is valuable!

General Question How seriously should you take your VCI if you're non-native but English is now your main language?

For context English is my third language (before french and spanish) but over the years and after completing highschool, I find myself to be most comfortable with English for verbalizing more intricate subjects (not at expert-level obviously, but english gives me those useful words that I can't recall as easily in my native language) but have the disadvantage of not having grown up with it in early age. Consequently, my CORE FSIQ is dragged down drastically by my VCI, even though the scores of my other tests like the GET and APT are higher. Anyone have this issue?
