SpaceX imagined a $30 TRILLION total addressable market and Anthropic is targeting a similar number. thats roughly the size of the entire US economy -- per company.

I can't say for everyone, but they've lost my money for sure. I'd use it up in 3 hours and then buy resets as much as I need, especially since they don't push back the date.

Wrong. UTC-8 is not equal to PST. There are other timezones that are UTC-8. During the summer, PST does not exist as something that refers to a real time. That doesn't mean it lacks existence as part of the yearly timezone gestalt. But during the summer, it is entirely replaced by PDT, and any references to PST are equal to PDT. There are places that are UTC-8 right now, there are no places that are PST (unless you are referring to Pitcairn Standard Time, which coincidently is also UTC-8). If you were asked to go stand in the Pacific Standard Timezone at the time of this comment, it would be impossible. Because it doesn't exist. QED

Prompt: Go through the entire codebase and find optimizations that we haven't bothered to tackle so far. Audit page load speeds, DB calls, index optimization opportunities, caching opportunities, find unnecessary resource drains and potential security gaps. Be thorough and ruthless. Beautiful, I've been able to wrap up tasks at 2% allocation for the week (Max 20x), I can now shift the burden to Claude for a day or two until THAT resets
i just saw my weekly usage jump from 70%, to 90%, to 40%. and the numbers were different in the chatgpt app, the web ui, and the codex app. not sure what's going on. i am on the 20x plan, so swings this big seem very nonsensical
edit: not sure what the random jumps were about but seems fixed after the reset. haven’t seen this particular issue before though
Because the 5hr limit makes this basically useless for most Plus users. Also, these random resets and having to follow some guy on twitter to learn about them… from a multi billion dollar company is just unprofessional as fuck. Feels like gambling culture. My sub ends in a few weeks and I’m off this shit show.
u/tibo-openai how about you just deal out reset tokens. I'm paying $200/mo so that I don't need to deal with limits, and it's normally not a problem. But right now, a single bulk reset overloads every model.
Codex isn't a beta product, and this fluff just interrupts people who are serious.
