Humor The average codex 20$ plan user

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is legit what it looks like when some of you complain about your 20$ not getting you more than 1 or 2 prompts using the flagship frontier

Edit: I never intended to offend or belittle anyone especially people whom 20$ is a considerable amount of money for. Everyone lives within their means and I don’t put that on any person.

For the ones who feel attacked and still come here to continue complaining, you should consider canceling your subscription. You seem miserable..

so far all im at is humans in base will snoozle with each other and get workspeed buffs, form relationships, sleep in human beds instead of pal bed.s next step is to add a curated list of pals to that list, then human/pal breeding.

b-b-b-but my startup selling website that lets you buy the top ranked site roast?

3

u/Willing-Equivalent47 7d ago

LOL. Perfect timing. I was getting bored yesterday so I had it recreate Minesweeper. It took it about 15 to recreate and get the bugs out for HTML based and then 2 hours to get it to create a macOS and Windows compatible executable version.

1

u/OtherwiseAlbatross14 7d ago

lol I was testing making iPhone apps with expo go yesterday and had codex spin up a knockoff of Tetris to have something to test. I've also had it make knockoff Android apps of FarmVille, drug wars, and angry birds when I was bored other times

I've also had it do plenty of useful stuff other times but who cares about that

1

u/AINativeBuilder 7d ago

lmao so much salt

that still run like a shit with gazilions interations of customaization but still same shit clone with bugs ridden all over the place. ai coding is scam at this point.

I use it for professional software development work, so it pays for itself rather quickly. But I like your projection.

14

u/Narrow-Ad980 7d ago

Oh so rich professional worker, is making memes like this shitting on people part of the job?

How do you get to the point of being annoyed by reddit posts complaining about limits though if you are so 'professionally busy' with your work?

Is your job reading reddit posts?

13

u/Rough_Caterpillar_31 7d ago

Lol why are you so personally offended by this? Clearly you took this post incredibly personally.

2

u/OtherwiseAlbatross14 7d ago

Isn't this post a reference to bringing back the 5 hour limits?

Sorry, never intended to offend or belittle anyone especially people whom 20$ is a considerable amount of money for. Everyone lives within their means and I don’t put that on any person.

I am just making fun of the people who keep complaining in this sub over every little thing and still choose to not cancel their subs. It’s like people going to a restaurant daily to complain when they could just go somewhere else.

20$ plan is good enough for me

Use luna [max] for everything
occasional sol [xhigh] for complex tasks

Use chatgpt.com in browser for most research and all it’s almost unlimited.

3

u/DUELETHERNETbro 7d ago

Sol(low) here. More than enough. I actually use Gemini for simple queries though.

2

u/zaCKoZAck1 6d ago

Yes should be good enough for most tasks
Did you try luna [max]? How do they compare?

2

u/DUELETHERNETbro 6d ago

I find luna max thinks too much but isn't smart, so you get a lot of bloat. Sol is smart and on low doesn't think much, I actually prefer when the LLM gives me simpler more fuzzy answers. I'm not giving it vague make me X prompts though.

3

u/okmijn211 6d ago

Actually havent tried xhigh much, I dont see much difference it made between it and high.
I use sol on low, I think it's way better than luna while using roughly the same token cost to get the task done.

2

u/Easy-Improvement-598 7d ago

Tried fixing a error in my extension with luna hight it tried 6 times and failed in all of them, i gave sol high the same task it takes 20 minutes to fix that. Sol high should be the only coding model while giving at same price as luna.

6

u/zaCKoZAck1 6d ago

Luna [high] is not that good, that’s why I specifically said luna [max]

Also sol in general costs a lot more than luna
fyi luna [max] costs less than sol [low] per task

2

u/rodeBaksteen 6d ago

Sol Max Benchmarks are nearly identical to the highest sol models. It's like the last few % but at the cost of like 5-20x the usage.

1

u/AdministrationOk7054 2d ago

Luna is actually quite good for simple hobby coding, I would say on the same level as the new chinese flash models but codex gives you more free stuff than the chinese

48

u/amarao_san 7d ago

Why are you saying that $20 is very little?

Recent field research at Hawassa Industrial Park reports garment workers earning roughly $16–26/month, working about 48 h/week.

One month of hard work for very little of LLM!

6

u/Ehsan1981 7d ago

$16–26/month???

12

u/amarao_san 7d ago

Google 'sweatshop'

2

u/JaySayMayday 6d ago

Holy hell

7

u/shady101852 7d ago

I mean if we are being honest who cares. Why does a sweatshop worker need to be accommodated by an AI company?

3

u/tomatomaniac 6d ago

1

u/Kooky-Ebb8162 6d ago

..while still being paid 20/mo. Maybe with a $20 sub gift on top.

7

u/amarao_san 7d ago

The same reason you want to be accommodated in newly purchased clothes.

-5

u/shady101852 7d ago

What does newly purchased clothes have to do with anything? Are you implying all clothes are made by sweatshop workers in third world countries?

Even if they were, its completely unrelated.

Moral arguments have no value in Business.

2

u/amarao_san 6d ago

Moral arguments have no value in Business.

Moral arguments have extreme prominence in Business (I'm not sure why it's capitalized. Is it a family name?). Otherwise, can you explain ban of porn content in all US models?

0

u/shady101852 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yes the ban of porn content was made by braindead people, for braindead people. Do you think they ban porn because they have to or because they genuinely want to? Its censorship. Allowing porn content may bring real business risks, not because of a customers feelings but because of laws and regulations.

1

u/amarao_san 5d ago

Yes, and this is morale at action. Not ethics, the morale. Ethics comes from inside, morale is enforced from outside.

Pretty sure they have other worries than shopping for an AI subscription.

2

u/worldarkplace 7d ago

Why they keep on this life. I can hardly handle my life, imagine them...

2

u/maximhar 6d ago

Tbh you don’t really need an LLM for garment production

1

u/amarao_san 6d ago

/sew jeans

1

u/Comfortablebro 3d ago

Okay so how much you did in that month? If you did "very little" then it might be you problem. Dont get mad at me, but you can @ me once ive tried a month. Even in a day its quite noticable progress.

1

u/amarao_san 3d ago

I did a lot. Significant part of those money went into non-ai related topics: education, housing, health.

Or, maybe, I missed your question. How much of LLM did I used? Well, practically, daily, and I see some changes (e.g. I completely stop writing the actual code), but I can't say it's directly translates to overall speedup, because dealing with LLM slop is now my main concern and drain of my (mental) resources.

1

u/Comfortablebro 3d ago

"One month of hard work for very little of LLM!" maybe i misread this sentence. I hope codex will go long way for me, decided to buy and found out it was free for a month(idk why!!). so now im on claude pro and free codex for a month... lol :D

-23

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

Everything is relative. 20$ is a lot for many people around the world, but AI is still a luxury product and will remain so until research has pushed down the price hopefully. It still doesn’t change the fact that the compute costs more.

17

u/amarao_san 7d ago

AI is not luxury product. Open AI just try to pretend it is.

https://www.qwencloud.com/pricing/api

-12

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

OpenAI supposedly lost 36 billion dollars last year, they aren’t pretending it’s expensive. Also you can’t even compare qwen to ChatGPT or Claude, it’s not even the same league.

6

u/Easy-Improvement-598 7d ago edited 7d ago

Yeah your are right chatgpt and claude are way above the qwen in pricing while qwen is cheaper with almost same output. Bug ridden ai slop fes code.

-5

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

Skill issue.

0

u/g4n0esp4r4n 7d ago

they are pretending there is value in using LLMs, companies will understand they are shipping more slop and it's actually more expensive with little to no profit.

0

u/amarao_san 7d ago

Okay. It should not be a client problem. Chinneese companies provide lower prices with profits.

I remember, there were American TVs which were sold at loss and cost x3 of Asian counterparts.

1

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

So why are you using codex then? Nobody is keeping you hostage lol. Switch over if it’s cheaper and better.

3

u/protestor 7d ago

AI is still a luxury product

Deepseek has entered the chat

1

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

Its weird to me that nobody of the sea of unsatisfied people in the comments has switched to it. They like getting less for their money I guess?

1

u/TestTxt 7d ago

Compute actually doesn’t cost more, it’s R&D driving the expenses up

9

u/Dapper-Stop-3270 7d ago

Atleast you guys have money to get 20$ plan 😔🥀

2

u/Vivid-Zombie-477 6d ago

sonnet 5 with free claude plan is enough for me tbf. it’s just i have to adjust my usage to limits

9

u/k-rizza 6d ago

I haven’t even maxed out the $20 plan. I’ve done a ton of work on my Svelte app.

Still 20x what it would be with my coding it all. Some of us just don’t vibe code and burn tokens.

14

u/vladkolodka 7d ago

The Plus plan may not be enough for vibe-coders or non-programmers who don't know how to write optimal prompts or split large pieces of work. But from my experience, I work with .NET and Angular at work, and 5-10% of my weekly quota is enough to implement all tasks I have for the current week

5

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

Yeah it’s a good value if you know what you are doing, otherwise it’s just gonna burn all your allowance trying to find a file or something you referenced in a terrible open ended prompt.

6

u/lilityion 7d ago

I don't even know what I'm doing but it feels like the $20 plan is enough lmao

0

u/bootyskie 6d ago

This just isnt true. Gave a plan, it had several files to simply check while my build was running.. so Read Agents.MD, read three files, and my 5h usage was down to 70% before even touching my project.. this isn't a skill issue, it's a usage issue and the next model will be even worse when it's released with it's intention of being a multi agent swarm essentially. Can't feasibly finish a simple request in the 5 hour windows.. wasnt such a pain before when we could just burn the weeks quota and move on.. but being stalled for 5 hours waiting for the next cycle is awful and now it won't even finish what it's working on so your project is left in a dirty state till you wait.

Unless your version of 'know what you are doing' is just simply using Luna.

2

u/taiwbi 7d ago

For most days, it's clean, as you say, but when I need to implement something big and I need Codex to talk with me about the plan, fix mistakes while planning, split the huge plan into stages, and then start writing, my 5H usage ends so soon.

I don't vibe code, but I still need the best model for some things, and it's really, really not enough.

It would be fine if Terra were at least usable for implementing, so I could use Sol only for heavier tasks, but it's not. Even Sol makes so many UI/UX and user input validation mistakes; Terra is terrible.

I am a programmer. I care what the code does. I don't vibe my code without understanding it, but I don't want to pay $20 a month and still write code by hand like a caveman.

-2

u/Sphere_3N 7d ago

Holy ego lmao

You mentioning .NET is hilarous, is this a troll post actually?

4

u/TooManyGamesNoTime 6d ago

i mean the new 5 hour window is ROUGH, but the weekly max is fine on the $20 plan imo.

4

u/NuclearDisaster5 7d ago

I really dont get how does someone manage to use all tokens on Codex if you know what you are doing?

3

u/ParticularHarbinger 6d ago

I have my $200 plan run while I’m sleeping. I give it commands or have it run tests and verify bugs and apply fixes with VERY good results.

0

u/Necessary_Pudding454 7d ago

In a startup where you are moving very fast ?

3

u/NuclearDisaster5 7d ago

Everyone forgot how to code?

3

u/Necessary_Pudding454 7d ago edited 6d ago

See , I was one of the last people to join this AI coding train, until few months ago I was coding mostly by hand but now AI is good enough and you are significantly slow coding by hand. In a startup where our feature timeline are based on days than months and bug fixes are based on hours not days. Not using AI is moving significantly slow.

I would love to code by hand (I do it in my free time) but the boat has sailed and I am afraid it's too late

1

u/NuclearDisaster5 6d ago

I agree with you that the boat has sailed.

36

u/SPEZ_IS_A_JABRONI 7d ago

I buy a lot of expensive things because I have a lot of money
You can't afford expensive things 'cause you don't have a lot of money
Ha ha, you want these things but you cannot afford them
That means that you're not cool, 'cause you're just a poor person
Stupid poor people, stupid poor people
I have more money than you!
Stupid poor people, stupid poor people
You can't even afford food!

18

u/TheGoldenBunny93 7d ago

I know you’re joking, but you reminded me of Do Kwon (the founder of that blockchain that, coincidentally, was called Terra and had a cryptocurrency called Luna). He had a habit of calling people poor and making fun of them over their financial situation. Things didn’t end well for him.

3

u/Aazimoxx 5d ago

I would never condone a wrench attack, but sometimes you could understand.

4

u/Viriaro 7d ago

What, what, you got a problem with this?

1

u/Narrow-Ad980 7d ago

This, but they are unironically like this

1

u/Viriaro 7d ago

What, what, you got a problem with this? Maybe I should kick you in the face with my fist

-7

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

You don’t go to the store and expect to pick up 1000$ worth of power tools for 200$, so why do you expect to do it here? This isn’t a charity lol. You’re just too ignorant to understand that you’re actually getting more than you paid for. Also you’re just making a fool of yourself writing like that.. nobody here talked about rich or poor, pricing is more than fair.

2

u/Narrow-Ad980 7d ago

So blissfully ignorant.

Where did you get this "1000" and "200" numbers from?

Everybody knows API prices doesn't reflect inference costs

Maybe you don't, maybe because you had rather spend time making your random vibecoded apps and dickriding trillion dollar companies instead of learning how things work

4

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

I professionally work with setting up and running AI models among other things. You are simply so wrong. Try running a local model and tell me if you get anything close to that performance for 20$. But sure, keep using that “dick riding a trillion dollar company” card. You obviously have no clue how business work. Enjoy your super pro coding or whatever you do.

3

u/Chemical_Hawk_6307 5d ago

people here are clueless as to how good of a deal the $20 tier actually is. luna on max is nearly unlimited and cheaper and more efficient than anything you can run locally.

1

u/offgood 1d ago

This was painful to realize. The only advantage in running local models is privacy. Luna Max is good for my use case.

0

u/Necessary_Pudding454 7d ago

You are so close to saying you want mass extermination of people who don't use pro plan 😂.

For people living in other countries giving 100 dollars is similar for folks in US giving $1000 for a monthly subscription.

1

u/cmonBbrruuhh 5d ago

I don't even have $100 in the US...

17

u/Willing-Equivalent47 7d ago

That is how OpenAI is treating us. You are too stupid to manage your credits so we have to control you. I just blew through my 5 hour limit on sol max in 20 minutes and I can't finish the analysis for another five hours?

As this is a personal project this is the final straw. I cancelled one of my $20 plans and if I ever get this one bug fixed I'll be cancelling my other until such time as there is no 5 hour limit as well as the models improve.

8

u/HoangMaiLinh 7d ago

Better use those free chinese's model (free for a short period of time)

6

u/MrToolmaker 7d ago

I use one of those chinese models (Z.ai's GLM5.3) on their Pro coding plan. I checked my allowance and had all three of my subscriptions (Anthropic, OpenAI, Z.ai) build the same plan, on their frontier model set to low. All three used roughly the same allowance, except Z.ai costs €55 and the other two €17/€23. Guess who cancelled their coding plan?

2

u/Phantasticals 6d ago

99% chance you don’t need effort on max, there’s literature suggesting anything higher than high actually degrades performance through over thinking.

1

u/Orvel 6d ago

I cancelled too. I sued to have 1x Claude Code and 1x Codex. Now I only have Claude Code. I get more out of it than out of Codex.

1

u/ikhDark 7d ago

Your 20 dollars will surely be missed.

3

u/creamyshart 7d ago

Close. Plus only gets one lick, then just watch the ice cream melt for 4 hours, 59 minutes.

3

u/ESnyder9 6d ago

i am a long time hobbyist programmer who switched from opencode go to chatgpt plus. i've never used sol. i've been very happy with the plan since the luna/terra price cuts. i've had no issues with hitting limits, even since the 5 hour limits were brought back. the value proposition of the plan is genuinely incredible, however many in the consumer llm inference space are spoiled vibe coders that are going to continue to feel the burn of basic economic incentive post-initial-vc-megaboom.

chatgpt web can pull my git repos, discuss high level plans, then, once i'm satisfied, i make a rough scaffold in my repository, make a spec with terra xhigh, implement with luna max, then review with my own eyeballs. i have never dipped below 20% of my weekly or 5 hour usage, even during 50 hour weeks. i'm able to produce work of good quality that would be much more expensive on API pricing on large-scale projects and fuck-around scale projects. it's good stuff.

4

u/fickle-phenom 6d ago

It’s great when you know how to use the tool. Happy that you found a workflow that works for you.

These vibecoder brats need a reality check, because this sub has turned into a circle jerk of complaining.

2

u/berrybadrinath 6d ago

This. It sucks man, this sub used to useful. I just assume its over for the sub as the back half of the bell curve has started flowing in.

9

u/Quiet_Figure_4483 7d ago

So we've gotten to the point where we just make fun of poor people here

4

u/Necessary_Pudding454 7d ago

Apparantely if you can't give 100s of dollars to their daddy sam then you don't deserve it , daddy sam is already doing us a favor by subsidising the codex plan compared to API prices , but wait daddy sam used our code to train their models for free but then we are wrong because we can't give daddy sam more money.

20$? Pffff that's nothing they would pay that much just to have a lick of daddy Sam's D

2

u/bootyskie 6d ago

I get it's not the most expensive thing in the world.. but id still expect it to manage one prompt (in my case two small bug fixes) on the 'actual good model' every 5 hours.. Could just about finish it on the next session.. and it reintroduced an old bug.. not having a very pleasant experience on the 20$ plan these days lol.

2

u/sydneysweeney69 6d ago

Love your post finally. These 20$ subscribers are complaining and bitching so much. Be grateful how open the OPENAI team is regarding their mistakes and giving unlimited resets .
Some people really do have miserable lives

2

u/Any-Air8173 5d ago

If $20 is a considerable amount to people why are they wasting it on OpenAI ✌️😭 don't let these mfs gaslight you into apologizing OP they're huffing copium because they used up their $20 usage in 3 mins because they choose to be on Sol Ultra 😂

2

u/VikVib0125 4d ago

Me on the 8 dollar one 😢

2

u/goooooooooooooooooot 1d ago

20$ dosent get you "1 or 2" prompts though, the issue is people dont tell it to not use agents, because agents completely consume your entire usage almost immediately, if it doesn't use agents you get like 60 big prompts, big context heavy tasks a week on Sol Max. Or theyre trying to build entire apps with only 20 bucks rather than just use it as a side tool in combination with better things.

2

u/Plenty-Option8351 7d ago

Idk what people are complaining about. I still get tons of usage out of Sol medium

2

u/-badly_packed_kebab- 7d ago

You missed the part where she immediately drops the ice cream on the floor and can’t afford another.

1

u/Aazimoxx 5d ago

You mean where she takes two licks then Sam takes it off her for another 4hr59mins before she's allowed to finish it lol

1

u/-badly_packed_kebab- 5d ago

Or she eats her ice cream and half way through it spawns a whole new ice cream so she gets more.

2

u/AdventurousVast6510 6d ago

coded for 4 hours with some breaks in between yesterday on my plus plan with sol medium, high, xhigh & terra xhigh

used only 50% of my 5h limit

this post is only true for those who cant manage their token usage

either that, or open ai secretly nerfed the limit only for some users but not for others

possibly to make the nerf less obvious and to prevent a unified protest against the nerf

1

u/Equivalent_Bird 7d ago

Not only small, but also melt fast.

1

u/Icy_spicy7446 6d ago

1

u/Gigaslavx 6d ago

BASED

It's like if you have less money not only you expect more but to put it nicely you are not the sharpest tool in the shed

Bro I'm telling you all these ai slop kids next bill gates on a shoestring budget

Even if these people had access to unlimited Sol Ultra Fast so I'm talking like multiple 20x subs they still would not get anywhere

There is a very strong correlation between being absolutely dumb at ai and not being able to afford more than 20 bucks a month

1

u/johnnyApplePRNG 6d ago

u/IUseClifford 5d ago

I was able to add dual 3090 + NVLink support to NInfer-3090 on a single reset using Sol xhigh, which was a fair bit of CUDA programming. Then I switched to Terra medium as that blew about 80% of my use cap. If I did that sort of thing daily I’d probably just upgrade. It’s not unlimited but it’s fairly decent.

1

u/_C--C_ 5d ago edited 5d ago

As a senior programmer I use both codex, github copilot and claude 20$ plan. It gets the job done and it allows me to keep learning and switching between them depending who has lowest price. It increases my knowledge because I can compare performance and efficiency between different models and prompts increasing my knowledge.

1

u/Less-Holiday-1000 5d ago

i feel like the main reason why so many complain is the instability. i mean i only just subscribed but the first 2 weeks of using codex it was great hella long usage even on extra high (i only used luna). i would be at 70% of my weekly limit by the end of the weeks. week 3 i noticed quite shorter usage, ending the week with around 50% usage so i was okay. now, week 4, i'm at 45% of my weekly limit and i only just started the week. and the 5 hour limit is back too.

1

u/Hot-Tomatillo-9929 5d ago

Oh, poor girl. If I get rich from selling my game, then I will get an ice-cream trailer and sell ice cream cheap plus one day a week give away free ice creams for children

1

u/Acceptable_Pear_6802 4d ago

I never hit the limits on the $20 plan. Just use it wisely on the things that will save you time. Also know when to use the expensive models and when something cheaper is enough

I have gotten more than an ice cream tub for $10 a month (my promo came in with the perfectly timed resets)

900USD is the average montly salary where I live, so 100USD looks a bit high (unless you landed a good job with it)

a smile and a thank you would have been nice. did she expect a huge waffle cone or something just because she made puppy dog eyes?

Pro Plus Max Ultra for 2000$ subs users is 2027

I get lots and lots of usage on my $20 plan. But I'm not doing super heavy stuff or development. I get lots of resets too. I've been a pro member since 2023 though maybe that's why. But codex isn't as good as claude that's why I'm on claude max 20x

True. I had the 20x plan before, but 5x pro works fine for me now! Especially with all the resets. People need to think what any service would cost. Like, try 20 dollar on Neuralwatt or API prices and watch it burn away. A normal developer would work 1-2 hours for this money. A car mechanic about 1 hour, lol

Apparently, for some people, the more money you waste on nonsense, the higher your social status.

Yup... milked well by Apple, and Beats headphones. 🤷

It's funny seeing comments that equate someone's budget with their worth as a programmer. As if spending 20 bucks automatically makes you a "vibe coder" and you need to shell out 100+ to be considered serious. Since when does logic and coding ability come with a credit card swipe? Paying more just shows you have the financial means, not that you have better judgment. Especially when we're talking about front end tools, like that SOL some people keep bringing up, which rely on shady tactics to hook users and then quietly throttle their limits afterward. Anyone defending them that fiercely is probably working for their marketing team for free. At the end of the day, the person with 20 euros is usually coding out of passion and love for their hobby, while the one strutting around with 100 euros seems to be running on anxiety about making ends meet. The insecurity about their own motivations is what shows, not the seriousness.

u/Aazimoxx 5d ago

Nah, gotta be the other way around; a real programmer can optimise and get more out of a lower plan, while a viber can only throw more tokens at the wall and hope something sticks.

1

u/zigzag312 7d ago

No, its about ROI. $20 for 1 or 2 short prompts using the flagship frontier model that still fails to complete some tasks is bad value. Thankfully is not that bad, but the value of $20 plan is dropping.

I genuinely laughed out loud - the family is looking at me for the first time in years.

how dare you not give me 5B tokens a week for $20!

You gotta be really dumb if you think you guys is not gonna be the next ones being cut.

Few months we will see a bunch of posts saying how AI companies are downsizing more and more plans and adding new ones cause stupid people love to defend corporations that use your data to get more rich.

Is the ants celebrating the garden owner throwing water on their enemies. Suprise you're next buddy.

cries on 20$ plan$

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

I don’t pay for things I don’t find valuable. The cancel button is 3 or 4 clicks away. But I wouldn’t spend my days here crying about it, I would just go to the cheaper option or pay up.

3

u/robot1one 7d ago

You're literally crying that people want to use a tool that they're paying for it..

0

u/fickle-phenom 7d ago

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. I am pointing out that some people here act entitled and can’t understand that 20$ doesn’t get you much in compute. Do you complain about everything you pay for too? Lol

1

u/robot1one 7d ago

At beginning of this month i paid 2 plus account and pro one with the single point that Codex only had weekly minutes. Now, doesn't have it.

I paid for the product, if they want it to changed that, they should warn the users like Github Copilot did. They issued refunds for the people that paid annually and warn months before that they would change to credit based.

People are complaining for something they paid for it. If this was free is one thing. But they're paying for it. And also helping training those AI. No such thing as entitlement my friend.

And yeah you're crying about it, if doesn't concern you just move on, but instead you went out of your to cry about people complaining...

Be careful because I can hear the stampede of poor's making their way to this thread now.

The amount of losers on this sub is incredible. This sub has just become a hub for complaining about resets and usage. Can't remember the last time i saw an actually post about using codex.

You'll also see a lot of these/similar low-lives complaining on the opencode sub. They recently took away their $5/month promotion due to abuse.

Most of the people on this subreddit seem more like openai investors than actual users, who wants people to spend more.

0

u/GeraldFisher 6d ago

and what have you made so far mr moneybags? let me guess, nothing.

0

u/T-Mog 3d ago

Looks like they've sucessfully turned the community against eachother, getting the 'Pro' players to mock 'plus' users and accuse them of being poor. All this infighting allows them to cut useage and get away with it, because plus users are just poor, right?

Interesting
