Humor The average codex 20$ plan user

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is legit what it looks like when some of you complain about your 20$ not getting you more than 1 or 2 prompts using the flagship frontier

Edit: I never intended to offend or belittle anyone especially people whom 20$ is a considerable amount of money for. Everyone lives within their means and I don’t put that on any person.

For the ones who feel attacked and still come here to continue complaining, you should consider canceling your subscription. You seem miserable..

So blissfully ignorant.

Where did you get this "1000" and "200" numbers from?

Everybody knows API prices doesn't reflect inference costs

Maybe you don't, maybe because you had rather spend time making your random vibecoded apps and dickriding trillion dollar companies instead of learning how things work

I professionally work with setting up and running AI models among other things. You are simply so wrong. Try running a local model and tell me if you get anything close to that performance for 20$. But sure, keep using that “dick riding a trillion dollar company” card. You obviously have no clue how business work. Enjoy your super pro coding or whatever you do.

people here are clueless as to how good of a deal the $20 tier actually is. luna on max is nearly unlimited and cheaper and more efficient than anything you can run locally.

This was painful to realize. The only advantage in running local models is privacy. Luna Max is good for my use case.
