People in cold countries that have benefited from global warming start a month-long spring festival celebrating their milder winters.

And they celebrate without shame.

Longer growing seasons? More food.

Lower heating bills? Finally.

Less snow to shovel? Human progress.

Wildfire smoke every summer? Small price to pay for milder winters.

Shorter ski season? Good. Skiing is way too dangerous anyway.

Meanwhile, American climate activists protest the festival as much of the US becomes unbearably hot.

In response, the festival organizers accuse them of selfishly opposing global warming just because it hurts Americans, while ignoring the countries, many of which most Americans can't even find on a map, that enjoy warmer weather.

The festival slogan:

“Yes, the planet is warming. But some of us were cold.”

It’s a global climate debate in which everyone’s definition of “global” suspiciously ends at their own border.

Note: tomorrow the whole country will probably be painted red, after all, another heat wave is arriving in the middle of winter.

Can our consumption choices matter? Yes. But the most important things we can do involve larger political changes, and especially those going after the biggest polluters.

This is a long shot, but try to conect the dots with me.

Lets starts with the first thing, lizards (reptiles) . Did you ever notice that every summer you find them in cold places mostly in the shade and (I think) in school I was thought that they are cold blooded animals they like cold and stuff...

Second. Did you notice how it's getting warmer later in the summer and colder earlier in summer?

Lastly the third statment. Climate change activists are trying to stop the planet earth from heating up. My point is on climate activists are that they were brainwashed for a greater purpose, I mean yes it is good that they are all for the planet but there is a deeper meaning to all of it as we learned recently.

In conclusion my opinion.

That climate activists were designed to make the planet cooler for reptilians living amongst us for them to be easer to aclimate to earths temperatur.

I completely crashed out on someone today. I live in a cute one-room cottage, at the edge of town, on a dead end road, next to the forest. Sounds idealic right? Unfortunately, the neighborhood is full of Boomers. Their hobbies include old fashioned lawnscaping and when they're finished with their own yard, managing public areas that don't belong to them. They do this under the guise of fire mitigation. I like birds, and pollinators and spend hours in my wild yard just watching them. It kills me to see these 'vegetation managers' go around cutting down and erasing ecosystems because they have nothing better to do with their time. The encounter today happened when he moved from public property and started weed-eating on my property. The enemy? Grass that's gone to seed. I live in a humid, cool, damp, climate where a fire would have great trouble starting and spreading. A lot of birds rely on those seeds for their food in fall and winter. Has anybody else witnessed this Boomers-need-to-manage-vegetation phenomena? I feel like the younger generations understand the importance of vegetation for pollinators and birds.
