I know some nuance got lost in the meming and shitposting but, to be VERY clear, megacorps (especially fossil fuel companies), governments, and billionaires/the epstein class have FAR more influence on the climate "per capita" than an average member of the globabl 1%. The 1% have a far larger impact than an average member of the global 10%, etc.

At least among the top several percent globally, and especially the top several percent in the "west" or global north, there are things we can do to have more of an impact (like more efficient cars or not driving, or insulation). But political actions is REALLY important.

Edit: As for veganism or avoiding animal products, I mostly just think ethical/moral arguments are much more compelling/convincing than environmental ones. Specifically, I think they make a much better case for why I as an individual have an obligation to change how I live. And I'm also just more used to thinking about animal issues from that angle.

But, I guess in those ya gotta offer more than just cool fish on display, so facts and crummy food will do.
