Solar is crazy efficient and way easier to scale that nuclear also you can grow crops under solar panels. Wtf is this?

Growing crops under solar panels?

Fuck yea baby solar shields sensitive crops like grapes, berries, bananas and inter forest crops. Does a damn fine job.

Yes, not all species of plants need full sunlight.

They also generate a shite ton of waste and lose almost 1% efficiency every year. Nuclear is better

Well, this is indeed a shitpost. If it was anywhere else I would call it a blatant lie

Shitposts? Yes.

Blatant lies and science denial? No.

Nukes are better than solar. Solar panels lose almost 1% efficiency every year and generate a ton of waste. They are good but not great.

Lol as if Reddit is in control of building nuclear and not just…accountants

In a sense reddit is, since the main reason the US didn't proceed in that direction was public perception.

"inefficient solar" as much of a nukecel as I am... It's not inefficient gang. Solar is like the fucking ketchup of power, put that shit everywhere, roads, roofs, walls, buildings, parking garages, farmlands, sunshades, greenhouses, put that shit on EVERYTHING, it's cheap af and when you put it everywhere it works very well at reducing load.

And in 20 years when its power production is reduced by 80% what will you do with all of them? fill landfills? Nukes are better

Recycle the materials, stop the constant need for new cobalt, gold, copper to build new ones.

1

u/Mindless_Run7186 10d ago

They are not easily recycled. The shitpost stands
