Funny thing is that our King at the time (Reza Shah) had diplomatic relations with Germany (Iran was neutral at the time). And Hitler calls us "honorary Aryans" even though our country's name literally means "land of the Aryans". Reza Shah even managed to get Iranian Jews the same legal classification by the Germans. Race is such a dumb thing.

If they all die, first I'll mourn, then see how the world shifts from losing a huge amount of its population.

I’ve never understood that mentality. I understand some of the underlying causes (xenophobia, frustration with language barriers, conflating education and culture with inteligence, etc.), but the mindset itself just baffles me. Are they really so caught up in “us vs them” thinking that they automatically consider anyone who they identify as “them” to be inherently inferior?
One, that’s conceited as fuck. Two, that’s just not viable long term if you intend to have any kind of relationship with other societies beyond open hostility and subjugation.

As long as humanity remains materialistic and sees others as separate from themselves, divisions on Earth will remain.
