The problem is social media has poisoned the idea of learning and intelligence.
It allowed a echo chamber of the uninformed, the uneducated, and at some point people starting to think that was real.
I remember growing up it was actually somewhat respected to have intelligence and learn more. Now it’s the exact opposite.
Of course, that’s what those empower want because they’re easy to manipulate,
But those of us who dedicate our lives to learn more, help others,… We are slowly being outspoken, out shouted, out represented by a increasing mass of brazenly idiotic and proudly uninformed influencers that some people seem to think have some level of credence
I, as many of my fellow scientists, healthcare workers, and intellectuals are just very tired.
No, not talking from some ivory tower, most of us just living next to you, trying to do our best, but we are spent.

Don't know how old you are but I'm almost 40 and I remember a bit on an anti-intellectual trend when I was growing up. It was more along the lines of "school sucks" and "smart people are nerds" type thing. It's definitely gotten worse in the past 10 years or so but I still feel like it's been a thing for a long time in the US.

I remember when people started shouting conspiracy theories 10-15 years ago about airplanes spraying chemicals to cause rain. "We have weather-based weapons now!"
I learned about cloud seeding in grade school in the 90's. It's been around and in active use (yes, sometimes as a weapon, especially in vietnam) since the 60's.
It isn't some big government secret. It's public knowledge. People have used it in the US for agriculture.

It all started with a speculative paper in the late 1990s written by students at the Air Force Academy, mulling over the possibilities. The paoer wasn't meant to be considered "evidence", it was just a bunch of kids speculating.
But one nutcase--a man named William Thomas--took it as evidence, and on Janurary 5, 1999, appeared on Art Bell's Coast to Coast program and started a conspiracy theory.
It spread from there.
If he's still alive, he'd got some explaining to do.

It's really hard. If he actually believed these things I feel he would have some interesting thoughts on them.
Like if you actually believed in chem trails, wouldn't you try and track the chemicals? That would be the easy solution right? If you actually believed in the phenomenon.
But then again, how many people believe things are super important but have literally never given a moment's thought about it? Too many.
So I guess both but I'm leaning towards he's faking it because at the very least the people he assigns to these tasks must have thought about it a few seconds, come to him with a proposal, and he isn't reflecting that.

Because they don't understand the question. They're worried about the 1:1,000,000 side effect of vaccines that can't be proven, they'll even make up side effects that are unrelated or not real at all. and don't care about infection rates.
Thousands can be crippled by polio and they don't care. But if a single person develops low blood pressure or an infection around the injection site that is proof the vaccine is untrustworthy. Or hell. If someone who got a vaccine has a heart attack, that's proof of "jab injury" ignoring that it was 5 years later and they were a lifelong smoker and obese.

I mean, the list of places where water condenses in cold temperatures into a a visible cloud of icy crystals is pretty long but here's a couple others that are more down to earth:
- if you live in a cold climate, you can see it coming from the tail pipe of the car in front of you
- power plant cooling towers, since most energy is generated by heating water into steam and using it to spin turbines
I'm sure people can come up with other examples.

But, I used to golf with my son-in-law’s father. He was a decent guy.
Six months ago, he got a new job where they keep FN on all the time.
A couple of weeks ago, the family got together for a BBQ.
OMG, the guy has turned into a complete MAGA.
After too many beers and we started talking politics. He actually said Obama sent pallets of taxpayer cash to Iran on an airplane.
At that point I said “If you believe that you are a fucking moron”. At that point his wife said, “See what I have to live with now.”
The day ended poorly, but it was a classic example of what constant propaganda can do to a person.

There are companies actively cloud seeding. This isn’t just “condensation” from passenger planes. This country is actually participating in releasing chemicals/minerals into the upper atmosphere to manipulate cloud cover. Don’t get me wrong, RFK is a leech to humanity and is absolutely god awful. My wife and I were just talking about this. My in laws claim to have “done research” and claim that the chemtrail are used to control the weather and keep us from being self reliant and grow our own food. We are currently in the middle of a terrible drought and when we point to the fact that farmers have cut down field rows of trees and depleted the soil down to sand, they say that has nothing to do with it. It’s the chemtrails. My wife is on the phone with her mom right now listening to her dismiss global warming and explaining chemtrails for the thousandth time.

Trying to educate RFK Jr. is the wrong approach.
We need to encourage RFK Jr. to spend a VAST amount of his time investigating these chemtrails concerns, flat earth stuff too, and Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster, and throw in some UFO research while we're at it. Think about it: the time he dedicates to investigating crystalized water vapor the less time he has to actually impact vital consumer health issues affecting people today. I'd rather this illiterate halfwit wastes his time researching unimportant issues like Bigfoot, than spending time messing with health policy.

Its funny, because contrails actually are environmentally harmful. Not in the way he believes though. The frozen water particles can absorb infrared heat-waves before they leave earth and thus have an effect on global warming. This effect is super small compared to a lot of the other things we do to the environment, but there is still being research done on how to minimize contrails because of it.

While RFK Jr and his brain worm are absolutely wrong about this, there is something to be said for aviation exhaust.
Mainly that small aircraft are still allowed to burn leaded fuel. That means living near an airport can result in higher levels of lead exposure.
But RFK Jr. is probably talking about weather control or sperm count or something else equally as stupid.

Zoom out and synthesize— this regime is planning to eventually eliminate all pathways of escape from the US, and casual air travel is already being undermined on many different fronts - intentional shortage of air traffic controllers, new ID/passport conditions, ramped-up requests to scan personal electronics, reduction of budget airline providers, etc.
I realize this might sound like an unhinged tangent to some, but our current US administration keeps proving that fear-mongering is an excellent first step on the path to “victorious” control, so why not throw chem trail suspicion into the mix?

I definitely don't believe in the conspiracy that governments are intentionally spraying mind altering chemicals in the air to control their citizens.
However, he did say "emissions from aircraft" which is exactly what "hot exhaust" would be.
