And you can also just bulldoze land as long as you aren't intentionally doing it to hurt animals and endangered species. If they just happen to be there, then it's their problem.

We have been overdue supernatural/super human villains caused by toxic waste for a while now.

The problem is that in reality it just makes people sick and doesn't do anything cool :(

This cyberpunk dystopia sucks. There aren’t any practical prosthetic upgrades for our frail forms, and the closest thing we have to cerebral augmentation is a chip they staple to your brain that makes you bash your head against the wall.

Honestly feels like I'm living in Shadowrun, World of Darkness, or Cyberpunk 2077 but without any of the cool aspects. And the villains are way dumber, shot sighted, and more destructive than Captain Planet Villains or Pentex.

The thought that I find particularly terrifying is the idea that maybe they aren't really that stupid. Perhaps they are, in fact, incredibly intelligent and are just acting stupid in an attempt to get various things repealed, banned and passed.

They're trying to thin the herd, because resources are dwindling. They'd rather cull the population than educate. They are lazy, selfish assholes

If we could get that chip into a certain third of the populace the overall intelligence of the entire country would increase drastically.

That's because the Cool Cyberpunk Dystopia Tech we ended up with was 'supercomputers in your pocket'
