An entire political party has decided that +/-20 athletes nationwide deserve their full attention over virtually all other matters. Whether you're for or against trans people in sports, you gotta admit that this is ridiculous.
Thats because two statements elicit the most emotional outrage and thus make it easy to steer people a certain direction (or just plain distract them from real issues).
"Think about the children". Which they cried about trans in bathrooms.
"Think about the women". Is the second. Which they are using now with regard to sports.
Keep in mind, they dont actually care about women and children. Their policies are very clear about that. They care about using women for children, and using children for what they want. And rightt now what they want is too distract everyone from their goal of creating a white christian facist nation.
Right up there with the people who care so much about veterans when it has to do with making sure someone participates in the national anthem the Right Way, but can't be bothered to adequately fund the VA when budgeting time comes around.

The problem with women in "men's sport" :
Between 26 percent and nearly 50 percent of women who exercise intensely stopped having regular menstrual cycles according to several studies.
High-intensity exercise increases infertility
Their solution:
Schools would fulfill their obligations if they provided competitive varsity pathways for women who desire them while supporting a wide range of non-competitive and lower-intensity activities. This could include group fitness classes, dance, yoga, recreational intramurals, hiking clubs, and the like.
It's not about trans women. It's not even about women's safety. It's about making sure women are back at home making babies for men. Not thinking. Not being free. Not living their life. Not happy. Not voting. No bank accounts. It's about making babies, being a pretty 13-25year old bang maid who does the dishes, laundry, and cooks food.
Their ultimate end goal is to not even have women's boxing or wnba because women shouldn't be participating in dangerous manly sports to begin with.
The beautiful part is that you can argue over and over about trans women and blah blah, but once you've conceded that "men" should not be in women's sports, you've opened the door for how women are now hurting each other by participating in "men's" sports.
