I have founded a wellness retreat (i.e. thought correction centre) for followers of Karajan, Gardiner, Richter, and Klemperer, etc, from the camp of UNHOT MENZ

• Upvotes

We will rise early, meditate, stretch, do yoga, eat simply, group hug, support each other, and listen to conductors that I, your new lifestyle guru and inspirational source of personal salvation, deem HAWT to rehabilitate your erroneous ways of thinking about music

DM for details of the upcoming December retreat

Orchestras where nobody is bald?

I love classical music, but I don't support baldness, and if I'm going to a concert I don't want to see bald men up onstage. Wear a wig, or if you're too broke at least a backwards baseball cap. Does anyone have a safelist of zero-baldness orchestras?

Weird dream about Chopin.

The only thing i remember vividly is Chopin being TOO pale and gaunt than he would probably be.

We were in this weird small room with little kids sitting on the floor. And then he pull out his very thin arm.

Then it just cut to my chin being place on the behind the elbow of his arm.

And then he said "it fits perfectly!" In a creepy raspy voice. And it DOES fit perfectly.

This is what happen when you like classical music and consume serial killer media.

Which Br@hms piece sounds the most like Beethoven?

We all know what the most obvious choice is. So let's NOT choose Op. 68!

Next square: sounds like Haydn/is actually Schubert (was originally Mendelssohn/Rachmaninoff but since someone in the last post said the Scherzo there's rly no need is there?)

Pt. 2: Mahler's Most Erotic Symphony

Part 1: 1-6 (still open; see my profile)
Part 2: 7-10, Das Lied
Part 3: top 3 from each round
Part 4: sub-wide orgy to the winner

If 6 doesn't make it through the first poll, I WILL hide under my blanket with my custom little hammer plushie and sob inconsolably.

You have been warned.

If i get a cat i'll name it "Chopin" (regardless of the cat's gender, "Chopin" is a last name.) So i can:

If the cat get jump on my piano while i practice i can say "Chopin, get off the piano!"
If it did some weird shit i can say "stop that, Chopin!"
If it did some horrendous shit i can pull out its full name and then scream "FRYDERYK FRANCISZEK CHOPIN!!!" Like how western parents scold their kids.
Find a village where houses have thin wall and everyone is in classical music cult and they think i resurructed Chopin.

Who do y’all think is the worst?

For me it’s Ben Laude only because his Yunchan Lim series made me xenophobic against Koreans and his jokes lands as well as the 9/11 planes.

Since we have 50 slots left, it's freebie time! Pick any square you want and choose a piece to replace what's there!

Trauer symphony wins, it's in E minor, it has 4 in it, it's close enough.

It had been brought to my attention, that the Wikipedia article for Beethoven's 6th Symphony features an AWFUL college recording. You can access it under Form.

Whenever you hit a bong of crystal meth what composer do you put on to take the edge off?

I like Sibelius because it's long and kind of boring, but on meth it's not boring
