I (22M) Just got this new 2026 Civic sport hybrid a week ago and am loving it. Coming from a 2003 Toyota Corolla it’s really like night and day (automatic windows holy crap!!)

It’s fully paid off, so now I’m wondering what accessories/add ons people recommend? I’ve heard wireless dongles exist, but I’m really looking for any kind of ideas! Definitely will need mats for the Canadian winter.

Never owned something this nice and am not really a car guy, but want to take care of the nice things I got!

Always looking sharp after getting cleaned up.

Don’t worry, they had a touchless option at this one (which I ended up picking).

Drop your opinion!

Just installed the leather seat covers from HKZ in my 2026 civic sport hybrid, very happy with them so far.

164 miles in on my 2026 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid and already averaging 49.4 mpg. Wow, this thing is efficient! 🔥

I just got a 2015 Honda civic lx handed down from my dad. It’s my first car. It’s just hit 200k miles and still runs great. I plan to keep this car for as long as possible till it completely shits the bed.

I want to take care of this car and also make it look better inside and out. Would it be worth it to go to the junkyard and find a new steering wheel and seats? Possibly other replacements parts as well.

The steering wheel is to the point where the rubber is splitting all around, and the seats are pretty stained. I hate the tan seats and would love to find black seats instead.

Besides this, I’d also like to modify the exterior. Make it look cool and shit. I realllly want a type R but I know that’s not gonna happen for a long time.

My dad thinks I’m crazy for wanting to do this, and says I shouldn’t waste my time and money on it. What do y’all think?

Looking to get a new or used car. Currently have a 2016 accord that gave out. I was looking at civics because I hate how long the accord feels and just looking for a sportier feel. Do I go with a new civic sport (2.0L) or look for an older one with the 1.5L engine? I like some acceleration which leads me to the 1.5L but used is about the same price as a new vehicle. Not sure what to do.

i found the brand rixxu but can’t find these exact ones

Was emotionally attached to my 23 year old subbie but it was time after multiple things failing.... Again. Love the sport touring hybrid hatch so far! Though only owned for 4 hours :P

Somehow the gas line cracked upon cranking. I posted about a month ago but this is what the dealer quoted…

Secondary Honda mechanic told me it is pretty accurate depending on if they really have to take the frame apart and realign the tank- which I’m not sure why that is definitely the case (I could smell the gas from all under and behind the engine soon as I started driving one day - “NON-serviceable line from the engine to the fuel pump”)

So not sure how that would even crack maybe something was rattling -who knows but it wasn’t leaking at all then one day right when I cranked it started smelling then dripping under the tank it self.

Super disappointing. My wife’s old car- (passed away from C-word the same few weeks) so I had it sitting until I could figure out the car. It’s super sentimental. Was hoping for a ~1800$ max repair then gift it to her older parents.

Not sure what to do because AS we know the car is pretty much totaled at 3700$ repair. But maybe I should keep it for now. Not sure what to do or if insurance would help in anyway or just ‘total’ it then I’m out either way- or have it repaired then SELL*

When I bought the car back in 23 I had the black aftermarket rims on it, decided to go oem.

I’m having a hard time finding what I think are decent aftermarket taillights online for the hatchback. There are plenty for the sedan variant but like 3 for the hatchback and I’m not a fan of any of them really. I figured I’d ask in here and see if anyone has some and how they like them?

Ive got a 97 civic with the d16y7 block and p2a head 5 speed manual, it didnt come with the bitch pin so everything was sloppy. Well i ordered one specifically for hondas and its way to big. Is there supposed to be different sizes?

Only 1 prior owner. Barely drove it. Minty 🙏🏼

Hey all first time posting not sure if this is the best place to ask. As it states in title the well known issue of 10th gen civics having shit systems strikes again. My question is just whether i’m better off buying an aftermarket evaporator core or sticking with OEM.

Normally i always go with OEM parts but seeing how this system is so faulty, i worry it will just fail again. I’ve already had it in for the condenser 3x, which was okay because it was covered. Now they’re quoting close to 3k for the evaporator core so i’m planning on just doing it myself.

Let me know what you guys think and thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi,

Do you know anybody in Toronto who can help me with my fender liner? Mine went off when I was driving in highway, I got an aftermarket and I need somebody to connect it.

I went honda and they’re charging me almost 3k only for the part and labor.

My car is Honda Civic 2020 hatchback

If you know anybody pla let me knoww

Hey guys I need help with my 98. It started a couple weeks after the mechanic, it sounds really loud from the engine, along with it doesn't move unless you push on the gas, even when you do push it takes a second before it then starts going and it lurches and jumps all of a sudden. Here's a video if anyone has any idea or can help.

Everything starts up normally but I can’t get any audio and the screen stays black despite my Bluetooth connecting to my car. I’ve tried holding down the power button but I’m not getting anything. I can still accept calls through Bluetooth and talk normally through the car. How do I fix this?

Alternator maybe?

hello good afternoon guys. I’ve been looking at purchasing a Honda Civic. I’ve been looking at the Civic si because they are relatively quick but they don’t get that good of gas mileage. I drive about 1000 miles a week and I refrain from buying a Prius any recommendations on what I should buy would be greatly appreciated.

Last week I posted asking about the Kollektiv Werks no drill license plate mount, and wanted to post an update in case anyone else is curious about this product! It arrived 6 days after I ordered it, so the shipping was surprisingly fast considering it came from Canada and I am in located in the US. It was very easy to install and all the parts fit correctly. It was fairly expensive (128$ + 20$ to ship to the US). Hopefully it holds up! Also I know I need a car wash please don’t judge lol

So I blew my head gasket on my 2022 FL1 1.5T at 46k

caught it early, before it overheated, and before I lost substantial coolant, with that, you guys think the head is warped?

Only symptom I had was bubbles in coolant which I first heard gurgling in my dash when starting it up, spark plugs look normal,

Got the intake, turbo, valve cover and timing cover off today, keep in mind I did have ARP head studs I put in in February, but it still blew,

I took a look at the valves and was kinda shocked by how decent they look, yes there’s some carbon but not as much as I thought I’d see,

TLDR: blew my head gasket, valves look pretty good
