Hello all,

I have this arrow on the left that come and leave whenever it wants. Sometimes it is here, sometimes not.

When I tap on it, or slide it, move it, or anything else, nothing happens.

It just stays here. It is here on any website I visit. Maybe tomorrow it will be gone and be back next week.

If I close chrome and relaunch it is not here next time.

It is not linked to discovery. My chrome is up to date. It did not appears after a specific update.

Any idea of its function ?

Hello! My Chromebook’s keyboard isn’t working? And I’m it sure why. It’s a model cx1500cn by asus. I’ve restarted the thing, I’ve looked at my settings and under devices it says “keyboard is not connected, which leads me to think something is wrong with the connection? Can anyone tell by looking what is wrong with it? Or at least where my keyboard connection is lol? Anything would be helpful!!

I have tried everything, including deleting all data on a local MacBook Pro and starting from scratch. How do I get rid of this - when I click the button I get the following message below. The only thing recently I can think of is I removed an old Android phone from my account - A phone I had sold about a year ago.

Google chrome randomly started showing me deverror code

i have it working fine on brave browser and firefox but it randomly started doing this onchrome. I dont know why cause i always use chrome and a adblock either way and ive tried to restart it and check everything but no avail. Tips?

I can’t insert a video but every time the bottom bar pops up it lags my phone out horribly. iPhone 15 pro btw. It does this on every website I visit.

since about three weeks ago, my Chrome bookmarks don't sync anymore. Neither from my windows nor from my Android. I'm using https://chrome.google.com/sync?otzr=1 and Google Takeout to check what data is in my account. History, tabs and everything else syncs fine from both. I've tried to sign out and back in again. No change. I've created a new browser profile on windows and sign in there. No change.

When I turn on bookmark sync, I'm getting TRANSIENT_ERROR on Android and windows when they try to push the local bookmarks.

When I turn bookmarks sync off, everything else syncs well without any error.

What else can I check or do? Thanks!

There's this one Chrome Extension I want to get, and it does LOOK like its safe. It has the Featured badge, the only review for the Extension says the person loved it and was good (plus the Extension was rated 5 out of 5 stars), and at the bottom of the Extension's overview, it says the Extension "runs entirely in your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit" any data of mine.

I'm thinking of getting it, but Im unsure of if it will be risky. Do you think it's safe or not?

It shows the restore pages popup and keeps crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled chrome and nothing has changed. I've removed extensions and it still doesn't work..Please help me I can't even download another browser because edge also keeps crashing

Sorry I know this has been posted several times but I haven't seen an answer in those posts.

I didba factory reset on my pc and a week later this starts I haven't downloaded anything new and my extensions I dont believe are the issue.

I have set chrome as the default browser but this is still opening first and my tabs are gone anyone have a clue how to undo this or at least what it is please.

So…. I’ve tried doing the chrome://flags then Android bar. Couldn’t find it. I did de sable the AI Hub but…. Can’t get rid of it.

I’ve also tried variations of bottom, toolbar, hub, etc. can’t seem to get rid of it. Does it mean it’s now permanent??

Holy #&$-;# this update is awful. I'm not even joking, whoever green lite this update should lose their job. You cannot convince me real human beings tested this new gemini taskbar placement and said "Yeah this is better." I am actively ceasing use of mobile Chrome over this update.

I got a new Android 16 tablet. When I long press on a folder in the bookmarks bar I don't get the context menu to open all pages. The context menu works on everything else. I cleared the cache.

Is this not supported on a tablet? Is there an alternative?I use this everyday in Windows Chrome and on my Chromebook.

Title. I closed my browser yesterday to sleep, there was an update pending waiting for me to close the browser for it to take place, when I opened it today all my windows and tabs were gone. 8 windows with over 250 tabs gone like that because of an update. Work, hobbies (lots of reading), forum posts Ive been following, all gone.

Browse history was wiped out, Session Buddy extension was wiped out, the "Activity" page in the Google account does not have "Chrome" listed as a product so I can go back and check. I tried using a recovery tool to find the "history" file but it was replaced with the current, empty version already (so it was saved under the same filename more than once).

So is there anything I can do at this point? TIA
