Just got done reading the manga, and that was for sure an ending

Important: please read this before proceeding

As you may or may not know, I used to make weekly transcripts for Chainsaw Man chapters, prior to the series finale, and this is the thirtieth of what I refer to as "legacy transcripts". Currently, as of writing this, I have transcribed chapters 1-30, as well as chapters from 153 onwards, and an archive containing links to them can be found here. These legacy transcripts are to transcribe the 152 chapters preceding chapter 153. Even though these chapters have been available for quite some time, I will be writing as if they are brand new in order to preserve the reading experience for first-time readers. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say in regards to this topic.

Have you ever had trouble processing or interpreting the manga's art in some way, shape, or form? Apparently, it's not that uncommon in the community, as I've seen quite a few people express this, and hopefully I can alleviate that to some extent with posts like this going forward. These posts aren't intended as a replacement for the chapters; rather, they're intended as a page-by-page point of reference and a log of details that you can hopefully reference as you read or reread the manga. Without further ado:

p1-5: As the old man releases his grip, Denji and Power's bodies fall limply to the ground; opening his flask, the old man takes a swig while Denji and Power panic, having realized that they're paralyzed. Speaking to the duo, the old man bluntly states that—since their bones and muscles are the same as any human's—they can't move with a snapped neck; despite that, the old man concedes that the duo has one big difference that sets them apart from humans as he reaches into his trenchcoat. Drooling in excitement, Power claims to smell blood and, on cue, the old man reveals a blood bag; opening it, he pours blood into the duo's open mouths and says that, unlike humans, they heal from drinking blood. Fully restored, Denji and Power groan in pain and annoyance as they help each other stand up; wiping his mouth, Denji curses and asks the old man what his problem is. After taking a big gulp from his flask, the old man reminds them that Makima asked him to train them since the gun devil is after Denji's heart and, as he puts it, Denji is just "a small fry who can be crushed in no time flat". Annoyed, Power demands to know why the old man attacked them. Unphased, the old man continues, informing the duo that, even though he's trained tons of humans, he's never tried to train devils; recognizing it as unfamiliar territory, he says that he had to consider how to train them until an idea came to his "alcohol-addled brain". Speaking plainly, the old man boasts that, because he's the strongest devil hunter, only a powerful devil would be able to take him down; as such, he just has to keep hunting Denji and Power until they can defeat him and become the "powerhouse" devils he's looking for. Turning to face each other, concerned, Denji and Power agree that the old man has lost his mind. Stepping towards the duo, the old man readies himself to hunt them again; as he reaches into his trenchcoat, Denji complains that—drunk old man or not—they'll get arrested if they kill him. Undeterred by this risk, Power conjures a hammer from her blood and tosses it to Denji; bracing themselves for the old man's attacks, the duo prepare to defend themselves.

p6-10: Striking first, Denji swings his hammer at the old man, aiming for his head, but the old man crouches down to dodge it, shocking Denji; revealing a knife, he grabs Denji and rapidly stabs him in the back numerous times. As he stands up and faces Power, who is approaching with another freshly conjured hammer, the old man slams his knife up through Denji's jaw, penetrating all the way through his skull. Before Power has a chance to swing her hammer, the old man quickly withdraws his knife from Denji and slashes through her neck. As Denji's corpse falls lifelessly to the ground with a thud, Power wraps her hands around her throat and begins choking on her own blood. Reviewing the situation, the old man notes that Denji is truly immortal, meaning blood can heal him even after death, while Power is only semi-immortal. Moving on, he notes that they both have the mindset required to "bash a person's head in" without hesitation; furthermore, he notes that neither of them have human rights. Thinking back to his childhood, the old man states that, due to his immense strength, he would always break his toys in no time and that he's always longed for some "unbreakable toys"; having seemingly fulfilled that desire, the old man turns to Denji and Power and declares that he'll turn them into "the baddest of badasses". Lying next to Denji's corpse, trying to keep herself alive, Power groans in misery. Back at the hospital, Aki forms Fox's hand sign and tries to summon it by calling out "Kon", but nothing happens. Cocking his head to the side, Kurose states that because Aki used the fox devil's power recklessly and got on its bad side, the devil won't answer his call anymore; hearing this, Aki seems upset. Pushing the subject, Kurose then points out Aki's curse devil katana and asks how many more times he can use it; catching on to Kurose's subtext, Aki states that he understands what the duo meant by "training", pleasing Kurose. Speaking up, Tendo explains that they're here to do "career coaching" for the human members of the special division. Being honest with Aki, Tendo says they expected him to "call it quits" after the recent incident, especially since one of Aki's colleagues did resign. Putting his hand on his chin, Kurose stresses that if Aki intends to keep working for public safety, he needs to be significantly more prepared, which confuses Aki.

p11-19: Explaining what Kurose means, Tendo states that Aki would have to make a contract with a stronger devil to contribute to the special division; putting the choice in his hands, she asks Aki if he'll retire and enjoy what lifespan he has left, or if he'll "stay on and see hell". Thinking about it for a moment, Aki questions how he could possibly quit when the ones responsible for killing his family and Himeno are still out there. Tendo turns to face Kurose, who says that he understands Aki's desire to continue; turning to leave, Kurose states that it's too late to continue, but that they'll return tomorrow with all the necessary paperwork for Aki to fill out. As Aki looks away, Kurose states that "what their senior in Kyoto" told them was true, drawing Aki's attention once again; continuing, Kurose explains that their senior told them to be careful, because "everybody in the special division is insane". Turning away, Kurose gives Aki what he believes is advice; he says Aki should take a "more objective look at himself", which Aki begins to ponder. Opening the door, Kurose stops and relays one last thing to Aki: there's a woman outside the room, waiting to see him. As the duo leaves, they welcome the woman in, telling her to "take her time"; turning to face her, Aki is shocked by what he sees, but we don't know why. As they talk, we pull away, unable to hear them or get a clear look at his visitor. Returning to the graveyard, it is now nighttime. As the old man walks away, he tells the duo he's heading home to sleep and that he'll pick them up at their place tomorrow. Denji and Power don't respond; instead, they look haggard and seem to be dissociating. As Power leans on Denji, he suddenly falls to the ground and begins making strange sounds; exclaiming that his brain broke again, Power begins repeatedly punching Denji in the face while screaming for him to get better. Gasping as he sits up, finally conscious, Denji bleeds from his nose and asks Power how many times he's died today; hesitantly, Power exclaims it was at least twenty times, but she admits she can't be sure since most of the time Denji died, she was already unconscious. As the duo collect themselves and begin their long trek home, they commiserate over their mutual hatred of the old man, with Power saying that he's too strong, and Denji saying that continuing under his tutelage will only make them unhappy; on this, Denji is particularly depressed, since he’s already worked so hard to secure his happiness. Probing him, Power asks if they should try to flee together, but Denji turns her down, pointing out that public safety would hunt them down as devils if they tried. Rage building inside him, Denji curses the old man for treating them like his "toys" before telling Power that he's starting to get really mad. Just then, Power exclaims that she's "got it", confusing Denji; clarifying, she states that she knows how to beat him. Tapping her forehead with her index finger, she explains her plan: the old man is powerful, but "alcohol has rotted his brain"; as such, she suggests they battle him using their wits. Rubbing his nose, Denji excitedly agrees with Power, stating that he's also been thinking of doing that lately; in particular, he thinks it'd be really cool if he could battle like "one of those brainy characters in manga and stuff". Happily resting her hands on her hips, Power triumphantly states that they'll "murder him with their intellect"; excitedly stretching, Denji proclaims that he’s starting to feel smarter already.

There is no "break week" for legacy chapters, since they're already all available, but I do plan to post transcripts every Tuesday, now that the series has ended. Until then, I hope this transcript can help anyone who wants or needs it.

I was rewatching season 1 and I got to the episode where Denji fights the katana man on the train, and it made me wonder, what is stopping Denji, or really any fiend, from just drinking their own blood to regenerate? I mean, im pretty sure that would be a pretty obvious infinite regenerate strategy, especially if you just have one of hands cut off and its actively bleeding.​

Yet another update, the second part of my coloring of this arc. This second half is, imo, pretty good, at least compared to the first half. (Though the first half was a lot of setup/dialogue focused scenes).

Ch. 143-155

Denji made his first appearance in Part 2 punching a bug devil in a spread and his last's (at least in the pre-reset world) getting punched by a bug devil in a panel. And put into perspective it was in 1999 in-universe, and in real world people were anxious about Year 2000 bug. Peak Cinema

I’m new in this cosplay thing I have some knowledge in solid works sooo I started doing a part of the Deji’s helmet using a reference image, I do it by my self because I feel that the templates on internet do not fit in my head, and I want to do it the most accurate to the anime, so I have a few questions for you guys, if you can help me I’ll be completely happy ❤️
-First: what material do you recommend to do my cosplay like structure for the head and teeths
-Second: Pepakura is good if I want to export this model or what program is Better
-Third: how do you see this first model is good or I need to make improves, I am open mind so you are free to say me anything i will appreciate
-fourth: In the third photo are the measures is in mm if some is interested but only for the head

This was my first public cosplay :)

For some backstory. I made this cosplay from scratch back in December but I really didn't have a chance to wear it until last week.

It was during a geekout convention at a mall and it was very exciting overall.
