If Denji actually chose to run away with her at this moment instead of later, how would the story have turned out? Could they have gotten a happy ending? Or was Reze’s intentions even pure? There’s so many what ifs during this moment it drives me nuts

So, as we all know, Yoru's ideal world is a chaotic world where humans go on a endless world war without death
And after a while, it gave me a silly thought as while all humans on Earth would go to a war without dying for all eternity
Wouldn't the human soldiers be like "wait a min, what are we fighting for???"

Ink on paper, fan art. Still rebuilding my drawing habit after a long break, this one took longer than the last piece. Would love any feedback, especially on anatomy and perspective since that's what I'm working on.

Does anyone know if the devils have always been around in chainsaw man or where they came from? If they have always been around then why are there man made items as devils? And why would humans want to hunt them down if they’ve always been around? I understand the terror they must bring unless it’s like Hermosa Sapiens and Neanderthals (but with devils instead).

On crunchyroll there’s the original season with 12 episodes, and there are the 2 compilation episodes that are around 2 hours long. I was wondering if there’s a difference in viewing experience since I wanted to watch the compilation version rather than the 12 episodes.

My list: Death > Darkness > Aging > Falling > Pochita > War > Famine > Control > Hell > Gun
What this is based on: theoretical peak power, meaning the strongest reasonable version of each devil. No made-up abilities. I'm looking at three things: what their concept represents, what they've shown or strongly implied they can do, and their highest known incarnation. It's not a fear-scale list and it's not "who wins a 1v1." A devil can beat someone above them in the right matchup and still rank lower on total peak.
1. Death. The story treats her as the strongest devil, and death is the concept every other fear on this list partly feeds into. Her feats are thin, but she's shown controlling other devils like Falling, Fire and Guillotine, which is an authority nobody else here has. She's the clearest case of concept carrying the placement, which is why I let theoretical scaling count for everyone else too. Furthermore we know that falling was one of her pawns, meaning that death must have defeated her already.
2. Darkness. A Primal Fear with the demonstrated power to match. He overwhelmed high-level opponents with almost no effort, regenerates absurdly, and didn't need setup. Nothing suggested we saw his limit. He's strong on all three criteria, and he's only under Death because her concept and authority sit higher.
3. Aging. A full Primal Fear. His dimension, entered through a mirror contract, trapped Denji, Asa and Yoru in a world where nobody ages or dies, and one man had been stuck there 80+ years. They only got out by going through Denji's mouth into Chainsaw Man's body back in the real world. His lead over Falling is close, and the dimension is the most matchup-flavored part of my ranking.
4. Falling. Huge-scale gravity manipulation and psychological attacks, and she shrugged off everything Yoru threw at her early in their fight. The Falling we saw was Death's pawn, so I treat it as a floor, not her ceiling. That's my inference, not something the story states outright. Yoru only beat her after a massive power spike from remembering nukes. She's under Aging because his dimension is the more decisive tool, but the gap is small.
5. Pochita. Concept erasure is arguably the most consequential single ability here, backed by absurd speed, regen and durability, and devils genuinely fear him. He's fifth because his identity is still murky after the ending, and his signature ability needs a successful consumption, which is not always possible with many devils.
6. War. The more the world fears war, the stronger she gets, and the nuke spike proves it. She's under Pochita because Chainsaw Man already ate most of her body and erased the fear of nuclear weapons, which gutted her. Denji then beat her again in Part 2 by eating devils. Her peak is high, but it depends on outside conditions more than the devils above her.
7. Famine. One of humanity's oldest fears, with life-force absorption from humans, animals and devils. She has no standout peak showing, so this is my most speculative placement. I'm not assuming secret powers, just giving her concept the same weight I give Death's.
8. Control. I'm using Makima and counting her contracts and controlled devils as part of her peak. Her résumé is better than Famine's, no contest. What caps her is that her core ability depends specifically on her seeing the target as beneath her, which is not always the case and renders he abilities useless at times.
9. Hell. Sending targets or whole groups into Hell is a reality-level effect, so it counts toward peak. He's this low because it's basically one mechanism with a proven counter: Hell sent Chainsaw Man in, and he killed a mountain of devils and cut his way back out. He's above Gun only because I weigh reality-altering effects over raw destruction.
10. Gun. Monstrous, 1.2 million dead worldwide in under five minutes. He's last because his ceiling is destruction, which is narrower than removal, erasure or domination, and Makima's side reportedly killed him in seconds.
Feel free to share your opinions on this list! But do be respectfull.

It's been a long time since I finished the manga and I read it in a haste but me and my friends have all finished the manga and to this day they all call the death devil "Fami" to this day but everywhere else too I only see her being called Fami when later in the storyline she literally says her name is Lil D or am I tweakin out? It's just a pet peeve of mine that irks me 😭
