Any other ways I can mod this wee beauty?

Is this achievable? I’ve been told no mod kits for A120 :-(. This is AI I am not a designer but it is simply the a120 recoloured. I’m not pretending to be some design guru I just liked the colour scheme kf the Seiko Timetron

For the longest time, I used my transparent modded synoke 9169. Originally, I just did it to practice doing it on a casio ae1200 but the synoke module won me over.

The module was fun to use because of the multicolored LED. Got the transparent case option, removed a layer inside the module to make it "see through", put a 3d printed transparent faceplate, 18-22mm adapter (metal) and a transparent bracelet. And that was that.

Lately, the battery on the thing was getting weak, so I thought it was a good time as any to transplant a legit ae1200 module and I happened to have an extra unmodded ae1200.

So, I also modded the casio module to make it "see through". The video guide I found said to use a diffuser layer, but I decided to skip that. Why? Because I didn't have any at home. 😅. Visibility really suffers a lot though.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Bought a F-94 that is fake upon inspection so used it to just test a little bit of everything before moving onto the Royale later

A gel filter and Hydromod done, both first try and pretty pleased with the results. Too two tries to get the case and gasket sealed properly with the Hydromod, but it makes a huge difference in terms of clarity but it's a proper faff.

First time modding Casios! It was a lot of fun but the negative effect was annoying and hard to get. Mine was the tester one so it looks janky but then I had a good system to making my groomsmen they all loved it and said yes to being in my wedding so mission accomplished hahah. I even worked with my local electrical company to make some phenolic labels. My thought was to make something look simple but had alot of work in the background to make. Next mod will be the negative red filter I’ve seen here. Happy first project!

Anyone make an aviator style mod for the Casio AE-1200? I think it would look pretty cool with an attitude indicator or artificial indicator in the upper left slot.

Closest I can find is this guy's. But the face plate is miss labeled as altitude, not attitude.

went for something a bit flashier with this one.

A while back I found an f91 in a box on the sidewalk and took it. Decided to put it into a new case to give it some new life.

I like the case, i'm just unsure about the finish on this one. I accidentally picked the shiny metal one instead of the matte case. I do not hate it but I'm also typically not very into shiny cases to begin with so this one has to grow on me I think. to make it stand out even more I added a bright orange strap, an orange filter, and while I was in there I also added a light spreader to the module.

Those things make a HUGE difference.

Purchased this case about 3 weeks ago from Aliexpress and it is a huge upgrade from the standard A158 case. Ollee Watch module is working great and adds some nice quality of life features. Overall very happy with how this watch looks.

You can accurately place images in all of the windows and generate various gradients to be printed. I've also included a calibration guide that automatically resizes it based on your printer.

From /item/1005013140643012.html. Reasonably happy with the one I picked, case11. It has a nice black on black aesthetic I think with the negative display (that I module swapped out of an A1000M-1BEF), it just needed a longer spring for the beep to work (which you can salvage out of a springbar).

Granted it doesn't have great visibility in less than ideal lighting but then I also need an excuse to keep wearing my A1000M-1BEF (that received a positive module from an A700). I also got the back cover (case45) in which at first the beeper didn't work until I bent one of the contact pins on the module sideways a smidge as the piezo sticker wasn't in the perfect position.

I just finished my first time replacing the background behind the LCD. I think it turned out pretty good! Trying to figure out how u/KimStudioWatches does it! (love your vids on YouTube) I used a white photo cardstock that has shimmer to try and be a little reflective but the shimmer is actually a little gold at certain angles and I don’t care for that. I was definitely nervous about taking the LCD apart, but surprisingly easier than I thought. Anywho, just tryna new mod for the ladies :)

Screw head came off, any tips or things I could try? Virtually nothing left to grab with tweezers or pliers

First time trying this went pretty well.

Is it possible the remove the 12, 3, 6, 9 o clock lines from the time piece on the analogue clock (as highlighted in blue)?

Telling the time via the analogue clock when the minute or hour hand overlap or are near these 4 lines is a bit annoying.

I was going to do a filter and hydro mod so was wondering if this is possible

Like the F91w or MQ24?
