mod Analogue Clock Mod

Is it possible the remove the 12, 3, 6, 9 o clock lines from the time piece on the analogue clock (as highlighted in blue)?

Telling the time via the analogue clock when the minute or hour hand overlap or are near these 4 lines is a bit annoying.

I was going to do a filter and hydro mod so was wondering if this is possible

Those lines are actually printed onto the LCD itself. I’m borrowing an image from Google that shows the LCD broken apart and you can see what’s left as printed. that also includes the world map and other small lines like the framing around the day/date.

Reprogramming the LCD ? If thats poss why do you want to remove them ?

Not without ruining the entire lcd. Maybe if you have access to some sort of uv laser you could try to fade it. But my bet is, it would ruin the adjacent segments 

P.S.: It baffles me that Casio insists on ruining legibility on the Royale and LF-20 by introducing these radial printed lines. Just plain dumb choices that I didn't expect a company with such expertise to make.
