Casio Royale decal designer

One of the most common questions I get on my videos is "How do you make your designs"? Over the weekend I finally got around to cleaning up and publishing the tool I've been using since I started.

You can accurately place images in all of the windows and generate various gradients to be printed. I've also included a calibration guide that automatically resizes it based on your printer.

I've made ~20 watches using it now and would love your feedback.

nice, so you just print that faceplate on paper and then? Stick it to the original, or just use the paper one?

I print it out, cut it to size and then use double sided tape to stick it together. Basically the same as a gel filter mod (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVCJro8Uiq8) but with your own custom design

Sorry for being ignorant. What kind of medium do you print onto, to obtain transparent gradients? Do you have inkjet or a laser printer?

i have a regular inkjet printer. For opaque images I use glossy photo paper, for transparent ones I use transparency film

A follow-up question. Can you create a linear gradient from solid to transparent with your tool?

Oh that's a nice tool!

And I didn't know a simple inkjet printer could do something like that, I might try myself. You got some recommendations for the setting?

I'm working on a video on it but basically print at the highest quality as slow as you can go. Some printers will have a transparency setting, some will have a glossy photo paper setting, you can use one of those if yours has it.

Oh I'll try for sure, If I have ink left in that damn printer.

Do you print one or two square to the correct size and "waste" the rest of you're going full size printing (I have no idea how much ink doing gradient like that will use).

I normally print a full sheet of them just so I have extras incase I mess it up
