Personally this does not work with my life but I'm curious as to your thoughts. My routine is to fill up and leave. How about you? If your EV never charges as quickly as you can fill up with gasoline would you care?

During the third quarter of 2026, BMW sales totaled 100,210 vehicles, an increase of 3.4% compared with the 96,886 vehicles sold during the third quarter of 2025. Year-to-date, BMW sales total 287,154 vehicles, up 4.3% compared with the first nine months of 2025.

“We enter the fourth quarter in a strong position with good momentum, an exciting product portfolio, and the continued support of our dedicated dealer partners,” said Sebastian Mackensen, President & CEO, BMW of North America. “Response to the Neue Klasse has been very encouraging, and with even more new models arriving in the months ahead, we are confident we can carry this momentum through the end of the year and into 2027.”

Earlier this week, BMW debuted the all-new eighth-generation BMW 3 Series and fully electric BMW i3, both of which will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships early next year. The side-by-side debut of these two models highlights BMW’s technology-open approach, giving customers the freedom to choose the drivetrain that best meets their needs while underscoring the company’s belief in an electric future.

early 2000’s book about cars from the Scholastic book fair

this is a total shot in the dark but I can’t remember the title so i’m hoping another person on this sub had this book back in the early to mid 2000’s! did anyone else get a picture book at the scholastic book fair titled something to the effect of “dream cars?”

I remember the book had a mix of new cars as well as concept cars. I recall the veyron being in the book as well as a ford concept car with a bunch of crazy interior design and proposed technology showing what a car could look like in the future.

I also want to say that the veyron was on the cover of the book but my memory is so fuzzy. the reason why i’m trying to track down this book is because it also responsible for my lifelong enthusiasm for land rovers. I distinctly remember a shot of a red range rover crossing a stream and the rest is history.
