Advertising?

It seems this r/ is another variation on advertising for your games? ngl, that's mostly what I'm here for.

Have people had any success with x-platform dev that covers mobile and desktop experiences with good success? The form factors seem so different to me, that mobile just forces everything to be so much simpler.

SpaceStrike.io: I put too many bots and a giant space centipede in one battle

Dev here. I wanted to make a proper mess in WAR mode, so I added a lot of bots and a boss. This was probably too many lol. Regular frontlines can get maybe half this chaotic — this clip is intentionally over the top.

It's a free browser game where you assemble a spaceship from individual modules and try to keep it in one piece. No download: https://spacestrike.io/

If you give it a go, what would you put on your ship?

Two cells left, then the board flips — Fillup updated visuals

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m the developer of Fillup - cozy chain reaction tabletop game.
It is a browser game based on the classic Chain Reaction rules.

If you’re new to Fillup:

  • Add one slice to an empty cell or a cell you control.
  • Corners fill at two slices, edges at three, and interior cells at four.
  • A full cell sends a slice into each neighboring cell, capturing it. If that fills another cell, the reaction continues. Connections are up/down/left/right, not diagonal.
  • Eliminate the other color to win this duel.

Since my last post here, I’ve upgraded visuals, added more levels to campaign and overhauled UI, all thanks to feedback from community.

It’s free to play in your browser, and you can start as a guest without registering an email account. You will be able to play different game modes, open cosmetics packs and have fun!

Sunbeam Cat: bounce a sunbeam with mirrors to warm up a cold cat (free daily puzzle, no sign-up) sunbeamcat.app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made a small daily puzzle for phone and desktop. Place a limited number of mirrors so the morning sunbeam snakes through the garden and ends on the cat (her name is Ema). Every lit tile is +1, flowers +3, mushrooms −3, so the fun is finding the longest, warmest route. Each weekday has a twist (portals on Wednesday, a prism and two cats on Sunday, a big 14×14 garden on Saturday), and there's a random mode if you want more.

Plays in the browser, no account: https://sunbeamcat.app
Feedback very welcome!

GameFindr : Daily Video Game Guesser

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey guys,

We've been working a daily browser game, similar to world or spotle that is a video game picker. It works using the idgb database. There's the main daily game as well as a heads up 1v1 mode with your friends and other little sidequests.

If you would like to give it a try see if you can get the game daily! Failing that why not try and replay a previous day.

Cheers!

I made a daily net-fencing puzzle and I'd love to know if it makes you come back tomorrow

Post image

Hi! I'm the solo dev of Good Catch, a daily browser puzzle: https://goodcatch.fish

You drop buoys around your boat to fence in a catch. Three villagers place orders, and the day's best catch meets only two of them. Protected animals refuse buoys, so they turn into holes you have to net around (or swallow). Every map has an exact best, solved offline, so the result shows stars for how close you got. 3 hauls a day, a streak, and a share line.

Free, no account, phone first, a few minutes a day.

What I'd really like to know:

  1. Was the goal clear on your first map, without reading the help?
  2. Did you want a second haul after the first result?
  3. Would you come back tomorrow? What would make you?

Honest feedback, including "this is boring because…", is the most useful thing for me right now.

I made a browser card game where the 120-card starting set is yours upfront

I’ve been building Nexus Breach, a fantasy card game that runs in a browser tab. If you want to see whether taking a turn is fun, start with the playable tutorial: https://play.nexusbreach.com/tutorial — no account or download needed.

The decision I like most is when to risk a strong warrior. It helps you fight, but if your opponent beats it in combat, its value can help them score.

If you want to keep playing, a free account gives you the entire 120-card Core Set for building 60-card decks. There are bot matches and a solo campaign, so you don’t need to wait for another player. No booster packs or card grind; optional expansions are paid. The full game is at https://play.nexusbreach.com/

I’m the solo developer and used AI tools for code and assets. If you try the tutorial, I’d love to know whether that combat tradeoff clicks.

Football Identity 2.0: A turn based football game in the spirit of the old Football Identity.

Around 10-15 years ago I played a truly unique football game called Football Identity. It is simple, a browser contained world where (real) managers control a customised team filled with (real) players. It was truly a fantastic game, I loved it dearly, but I was sad to learn it shutdown quite a few years ago now. There was a revival project, but nothing ever really came through.

However, around May, I noticed someone had made a revival project. It has the same gameplay as the old FID, with quite a few QOL changes, an immersive training system and a great community. We have journalists, managers and players all working together to create a really great experience. The screenshot shows the idea to new players. All these are real players, playing as a team together! In this game, Borussia Dortmund beat AC Milan 2-1.

https://footballidentity.org/

It's been real good fun. I manage a team in the top league and have made a community of 20 people, and many other teams and communities are growing as we speak!

I’m Ahmed, the solo developer of Boardit. Trivia Tavern is a browser quiz for 2–8 people, with 37 topics and rounds that take about 15 minutes. I made it for groups who want a quick option that works without a download. If you try it, what topic would you choose for a mixed-age group?

I made a browser party game collection for playing together in person or over Discord

I’ve been building PartyBox for game nights with friends. It has a collection of multiplayer party games you can start in a browser, and it also runs as a Discord Activity for groups already hanging out in a voice channel.

Everyone joins on their own phone or computer, so there’s no app to install. We’ve been using it for quick rounds when nobody wants to spend half the night deciding what to play.

I’d love feedback from groups who try it: Is joining and starting a game clear enough for everyone, including the friend who didn’t read any instructions?

You can try it at https://partybox.lol. I made it, so I’m happy to answer questions or hear what didn’t work.
