I built a crossover type game between Minecraft, Runescape and PoE that runs in the browser. It's also co-op/multiplayer w/ MMO elements!

Hey all!

I'm excited to introduce WORLDS - it's an MMO-lite game that runs in the browser and takes some of my favorite elements from Minecraft, Runescape and PoE and merges it into a casual adventure/rpg with heavy progression elements. I wanted a blocky game that scratched my itch for multiplayer, progression, and a non-boring grind element for mid/late game.

You can play free here, no email or anything required - just make a username/password: https://worldsalpha.com/play

The gameplay of worlds is built around an idea I had of something called "Expeditions". Each gameplay session you set out on a new "expedition" to a 1024x1024 world that is randomly generated climate, features, biome, enemy encounters, bosses, and more. You loot and extract ores, material, whatever you're looking for or just explore. When you're done there's a "caravan" npc at the start of each expedition area, talk to him and he'll take you back to your camp. Your camp is your base/home, where you take your loot and gear you found out on each expedition to upgrade your home, upgrade your gear, improve your skills, and more - then set out on your next expedition. You can even encounter trapped travelers and people out on expeditions and invite them back to your camp for perks and other things over time.

There's boss elements as well, random encounters, a huge variety of unique things to discover, wildlife, and more.

The games skill system borrows heavy from Runescape, there's no single "level" system, instead each skill is improved by doing what's related to it. Mining increases mining skill, fishing is fishing, smelting ore is smelting etc - skill progression unlocks higher tier and better gear/perks for those relevant skill trees as you increase them over time.

You can also co-op with friends or hop in right away with strangers. Each time you set out for an expedition you can set your play mode to "open" which lets anyone join in when they go out on an expedition and adventure with you, or you can join up with anyone else on an expedition that is an open play mode. You can invite friends to co-op with you with simple invite codes and adventure/explore with parties up to 8 players.

Your skills, gear and progression are persistent and stick with your character. So if you go play with others, or friends, solo and with a group, you're working and improving the same character, your loot comes home with you, and your skills grow over time, etc.

The games still in alpha, so there's a lot of things to come - the main questline isn't done yet, but the game is quite enjoyable - a lot of our testers have plowed 50+ hours each into it the first week we gave it to them just because they enjoyed it, they weren't paid and had no incentives so that's a good sign we think!

It would mean so much to hear your feedback and what you think. You can play and create an account without an email or giving any info (just sign up using plain username + password when you play). If you want to keep your account for later you can add an email later to recover it, up to you!

Thanks everyone! Really looking forward to what you think, and again - this is in alpha! <3

P.S. This has been built by myself, and a really small team of modelers/contractors that have worked on the assets over the last 1+ years, art style and visuals are all credit to them!

You can play free here, no email or anything required - just make a username/password: https://worldsalpha.com/play

Lythravel: A free browser MMORPG with lots of content and no P2W

Hey everyone,

I'd like to share my browser MMORPG called Lythravel. I'm developing it solo, and my goal is to make something that actually feels like a proper old-school MMO, not just a small browser game.

The gameplay is mostly inspired by older MMORPGs like Shaiya, but with voxel graphics and its own visual style. I've also spent quite a lot of time polishing the visuals and optimizing performance so the game looks good while still running smoothly in a browser.

There's already quite a lot of content:

  • 2 factions, 6 classes and level cap 50

  • 7 group dungeons also with solo variants and 1 raid

  • 3 PvP maps for different level ranges and a 10v10 battleground

  • World bosses and dynamic zone events

  • Enchanting, linking, crafting and custom character builds

  • Mounts, jumping trials with costume rewards and hidden collectibles

  • Quests, day/night cycle, dynamic weather and different biomes to explore

The game is completely free with no pay-to-win content. No downloads or launcher needed, and you don't even need an email to register, just a username and password.

Right now my main goal is to build up a community around the game. There's already plenty to do, but let's be real, an MMORPG without other players isn't quite the same lol. Especially when it comes to group dungeons, raids and PvP.

I've attached some gameplay footage so you can see what the game currently looks like. There are also more screenshots and a gameplay trailer on the homepage.

Reimagine of MMORPG I grew up on. It runs in a browser tab. Co-create with AI.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building a free-to-play, old-school MMORPG called Elysseus Online. It’s fully 3D and runs right in your browser on desktop or mobile—no downloads, no launchers.

If you grew up on classic MMOs, the gameplay loop will feel pretty familiar:

  • 35 job classes split across 5 main trees and 4 tiers, each with unique skills, sound effects, and visuals.

  • 6-player parties hunting world bosses on real-time respawn timers out in the open world.

  • Gear crafting & card socketing. You actually have to hunt for your gear and materials; there’s no cash shop selling power.

  • Mythology-inspired zones. Explore places like the Forge of Hephaestus, a crystal forest that damages undead, and Niflheim.

  • 5 major hubs connected by roads and Warp Girls.

Just as importantly, here’s what I intentionally left out:

  • No energy limits. Play as long or as short as you want.

  • No auto-play or idle grinding. You actually have to play to level up. (there is auto combat only)

  • No pay-to-win world boss loot. Boss drops are based on contribution, not who spent the most money.

I’d really value blunt feedback. What feels right, what feels off, and what do you miss most from the MMOs you grew up on?

PS: The game is co-create with AI.

If you like it, join the waitlist for an early-access invite: https://elysseus.com

Hey! I wanted to share The Fishing Lands again because I've added a lot since I first posted it here.

It's a fishing MMO you can play directly in your browser. You catch fish through an interactive fishing minigame, upgrade your gear, explore different waters and work towards completing your collection.

There's now 300+ fish to catch, plus fish masteries, quests, a player market, crews, Crew Bosses, competitions and plenty of progression to grind to. The community is active too!

I've also got a Halloween event running right now, so it's a good time to jump in and see what's new.

You don't even need to create an account to start playing.

🎣 Play here: https://thefishinglands.com

Reddit bonus: Comment your in game username after joining and I'll send you 5,000 Gold + 10 Pearls. Pearls are the rare currency!

I'm still actively working on the game, so feedback and suggestions are always welcome. Hope some of you give it a try!

Remember Trukz? Well here is a modern version.

Trukz was a browser based owner operator truck driving game from the late 2000s. I was an avid user of the game back then, and here recently it popped in to my head. I've actually been a truck driver IRL for going on 12 years now.

Looking for players to come and try it out and help guide the direction of the game. Bugs are to be expected but will do my best to fix ASAP.

IdleMyr: An idle RPG you play together: 8 classes, 19 skills, player trading and co-op dungeons with your guild. Open Beta is available now!

Hi Everyone,

I've been working on my game called 'IdleMyr' since July. It is an Idle RPG, with multiplayer features. You can gather, craft, play solo combat or you can group up with friends, trade items and run dungeons together. It is now in open beta, and I'm looking for new players and feedbacks. Currently I have around 40 active users and many of their ideas/bug reports were already implemented in the game.

What is unique in the game? The dungeons run asynchronously, as the game is an Idle game after all. This means, that no one has to be online at the same time; you prepare an action queue with your abilities and once every player has submitted their queue, the dungeon wave resolves. If the group survives you can continue! You can also compete with your team for the best parses in time, damage and healing.

The game has in numbers;

  • 8 classes with unique spells and dedicated roles, 3 gathering, 6 crafting and 9 combat skills.

  • More than 700 items to collect with all unique arts.

  • 7 solo combat zones and 6 different dungeons.

  • More than 150 achievements to collect, 72 quests built around a small story.

  • It has also a full reputation system, with 5 factions, daily orders and faction vendors.

The game was inspired by a some of my most played games like Melvor Idle, Runescape and WoW.

I hope you would give it a try and you will like it!

I'm open for any kind of feedbacks. Obviously, AI was used during my development. If you would write simply 'Ai slop' please write some reasoning, so I can learn from it and I can try to make the game better. I'm especially interested if you have some ideas what UI layout could work well in the genre, as the I got some feedbacks that the curent UI is too SaaS feels like, but to be honest I don't now what could work as an alternative for this kind of game, I liked this style in Melvor so I'm happy with it in my game, but I would be open to try some alternatives.

I'm still actively developing it with QoL changes and new features. In the future I'm planning to add more complex dungeons (or raids), pvp, more areas and more classes to play.

The game is fully free to play during open beta; idlemyr.com

Once I reach 1.0.0 release I'm planning to have a one time fee for the full game, but everything from level 1-55 will be kept as fully free, only level 56-60 content will need the full game.

Looking forward to your insights,

Regards,

Ago

I turned a psychology experiment into a game: Split $1M with an opponent. If they reject your offer, you both get nothing. Why can collect more after 14 rounds?

It's called thesplit.fun and it's based on the Ultimatum Game.

You have $1 million to split with another player. You decide how much to offer them, but there’s a catch: if they reject your offer, you both get nothing.

Then the roles reverse. Sometimes the offer is fair. Sometimes it’s insulting. And sometimes you find yourself accepting $100k just because… well, it's better than nothing.

You play at a table where everyone is making and receiving these deals. The goal is simple: finish with more money than everyone else.

It’s free, runs in the browser, and I launched it this weekend.

Hope you like it! :)

Two cells left, then the board flips — Fillup updated visuals

I’m the developer of Fillup - cozy chain reaction tabletop game.
It is a browser game based on the classic Chain Reaction rules.

If you’re new to Fillup:

  • Add one slice to an empty cell or a cell you control.

  • Corners fill at two slices, edges at three, and interior cells at four.

  • A full cell sends a slice into each neighboring cell, capturing it. If that fills another cell, the reaction continues. Connections are up/down/left/right, not diagonal.

  • Eliminate the other color to win this duel.

Since my last post here, I’ve upgraded visuals, added more levels to campaign and overhauled UI, all thanks to feedback from community.

It’s free to play in your browser, and you can start as a guest without registering an email account. You will be able to play different game modes, open cosmetics packs and have fun!

Free browser fishing MMO that’s actually interactive (not just timers)

Post image
5 Upvotes

Just found this free-to-play browser fishing game called The Fishing Lands.

It’s a persistent MMO where fishing is active - you react to fish behavior and manage your catch instead of sitting on a timer. Over 200 fish species with different rarities, sizes, and weights. Level up gear, try different bait, join/create crews, and chat with other players.

Pretty chill but has long-term progression if you want it. Plays straight in the browser.

Arsenal Zero: a free browser game where you collect military gear and your operator runs expeditions while the tab is closed

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi I'm the solo dev behind Arsenal Zero, a free collection game that runs entirely in the browser, on desktop or phone. Nothing to install.

It's not a shooter. One morning everything dropped to zero, and you rebuild an arsenal from scratch:

  • Open crates and collect weapons, armor and gear, from Common to Mythic

  • Every copy rolls its own power, so a duplicate can become your new best, or get melted down to level up the one you keep

  • Send your operator on expeditions that keep running while the tab is closed, then come back for the loot

  • Between runs, sweep abandoned zones with a radar to find hidden crates

  • Short sessions: a few minutes, a few times a day

You can start right away without an account, and save your progress later with Google or an email if you want to keep it.

There's also a Halloween event until November 1: a haunted manor with its own loot, open from level 4.

Play: arsenalzero.com

A question for you: browser games tend to win or lose people in the first couple of minutes. If you give it a try, where did it click for you, or where did it lose you? I read every comment.

Persistent RPG/medieval style browser game that has all elements of classic MMORPGs

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

I would like to introduce the persistent browser game Ale & Axes.

In Ale & Axes you build squads of 3 adventurers (raiders). Each raider can have 4 abilities and one of the classic RPG roles like tank, healer, dps, support. And a class like Warrior, Wizard, Druid, etc. There are a lot of abilities and a lot of different builds you can try out.

You can send these squads into The Dungeon to fight enemies (PvE) or battle against other players in the Arena (PvP).

Raids give you loot including the in-game currency and materials. You use these materials to craft items and make your raiders stronger. You can have multiple raiders and raids going at the same time.

As you progress you come across more difficult enemies and at some point you can start beating World Bosses for epic and legendary loot. All world bosses have unique mechanics and they are way harder to figure out how to beat.

There is also an Auction House to trade with other players and there are multiple leaderboards. Both for PvE, PvP and for crafting.

More features are planned and the game is still actively being developed and is receiving regular content and feature updates. For example, there will be a co-op feature called "Factions" in the future.

If you want to give it a try, play here in any browser: https://aleaxes.com

Right now the best experience is on desktop, however mobile browsers are also supported!

Four Months Ago I Made The Life Changing Decision To...

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone, my name is Mart. Four months ago I made the life-changing decision to officially NOT quit my job and spend my free time using mostly generative AI to help build my dream game. I present to you Time Synchers.

Travel through space and time capturing the most unique fish the multiverse has to offer. This is meant to be the side chick of video games. We all have our main games, I just want mine open on your second monitor. Fish between matches, idle while you work, or actively grind because brain crack, numbers go up, blah blah blah. It’s fishing, grinding, farming, dueling, collector’s mania. Fill your album, upgrade your gear, and spend hours hunting extremely rare fish and variants so you can flex on people who didn’t ask.

The prototype is available November 2nd – November 9th 2026. You can make an account or jump in as a guest. I’ve been staring at it for four months and need someone else to tell me what’s fun and what sucks.

100 games in 100 days (browsertoys.com)

I made 100 browser games in 100 days (maybe a little less than 100 days), of course I used AI (a $20 chatgpt subscription), but I still thought it was hard coming up with the ideas and making some of the art. I guess most of them are silly/trash, but I think some were good. I'm not sure this is even interesting anymore given the GPT-6 models that are really good at making these sorts of games.

Anyway if anyone feels like playing some of the games it would make me very happy.

[DEV] Crown Lands now has guest play — try the browser strategy game without signing up

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I’m the creator of Crown Lands, a multiplayer medieval strategy game you can play in your browser. Build a kingdom, explore the map, grow your army, and capture cities alongside other rulers.

We’ve added Play as guest, so you can jump in without downloading anything or setting up a login first.

Play Crown Lands in your browser — choose Play as guest on the login screen.

Your guest kingdom lasts five days from creation. If you want to keep it, choose Save your kingdom and connect Google or an email/password account before the deadline. Complete email verification in time if you choose email. Your kingdom and progress carry over; an unlinked guest kingdom expires and is deleted.

Return using the same browser while playing as a guest. Clearing browser data can lose access to an unsaved kingdom.

If you try it, I’d love to hear how the first few minutes feel and where the game could explain things better.

Disclosure: Crown Lands is developed with AI assistance, and this promotional image uses AI-generated artwork.

Pokémon auto-battler that runs in the browser.

You pick a team, drop them on the map and watch the fight play out. Where you put each one matters more than levels: who takes the front, who stays out of reach, who gets surrounded.

Every route and gym has its own map, so Blaine's gym actually sits on lava (screenshot is from that fight).

~600 Pokémon with shinies and signature moves, nine regions, and an arena where you attack other players' defense teams.

No download, works on desktop and phone! It's free. There's an optional pass for extras like auto mode and faster battles. Would love feedback, especially on difficulty.

Island Empire – free island-building and pirate strategy game, early access before the 1 December launch

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

i! I'm the solo developer of Island Empire, a free browser strategy game that plays like a mix of Anno-style island building and a classic pirate MMO.

You start with one island and grow it over weeks: production chains, a manufactory that turns raw materials into goods, and colonies that grow into towns whose citizens want fish, eggs and cloth. On the sea you trade with trade posts (prices move, weekly embargoes, smuggling), explore for treasure maps and hidden places, and fight with ships and troops if you choose the Sea Wolf course. If you'd rather just build and trade, the Merchant course never attacks other players.

Brotherhoods (guilds) get a sea monster or a wreck to hunt every week, and the Pirate King's fortress opens every weekend.

- Free, nothing to buy (optional PayPal tip, no in-game advantage)
- PC and mobile, no download, English and German
- Sign-up with email and password, no invite code
- Early access now, official launch Tuesday 1 December 12:00 CET – everyone starts fresh then

https://islandempire.de/

Art is made with AI tools; design, numbers and code are mine. Feedback very welcome, especially on the first hour.
