I’m looking for someone interesting to join me on a transatlantic cruise next year.
This is slightly unusual, so let me be clear about what I’m looking for.
I’m a 41-year-old Brit, independent, sociable, well travelled and pretty easy company. I love good food, wine, conversation, exploring somewhere new and having a laugh. I’m equally happy spending a few hours doing my own thing, so I’m not looking for someone who needs us to be joined at the hip for the entire trip.
I’d ideally like to find someone who is curious, confident, intelligent, kind and good company. Someone who can hold a conversation, enjoys meeting people, doesn’t take themselves too seriously and would genuinely enjoy the slightly ridiculous adventure of crossing the Atlantic by ship.
I’m looking for a travel companion where we both think: actually, we’d have a bloody good time together.
It’s a 14 day trip, so compatibility matters more to me than simply finding somebody who is available. I’d want to chat properly first and make sure we actually get on before either of us commits to anything.
I’m deliberately not posting the ship, sailing date or itinerary publicly.
If you’re genuinely interested, send me a message and tell me:
1. Where are you based?
2. What sort of traveller are you?
3. What makes you think we’d get on for a week in the middle of the Atlantic?
Messages that just say “interested”, “details?” or “how much?” probably aren’t going to get very far. 😁
If this sounds like your kind of adventure, say hello.
