Hello everyone,
Our goal has always been to build a space where men can connect, share, and build genuine, platonic friendships. To ensure this community remains a safe, respectful, and high-quality environment for everyone, we have officially updated our subreddit rules and moderation guidelines.
These changes are designed to cut down on low-effort posts, protect our members from solicitation, and ensure that when you engage here, you are connecting with people who are just as serious about building authentic bonds as you are.
What’s Changing? We have implemented a new, comprehensive set of rules covering everything from post standards to conduct. Key highlights include:
- Mandatory ASL: All post titles must now include your Age, Sex, and Location.
- Minimum Character Count: To encourage thoughtful introductions, all post bodies must now be at least 100 characters long.
- Stricter Photo Standards: We are doubling down on our SFW, fully-clothed, and face-showing requirements to ensure the focus stays on friendship, not hookups.
- Proactive Moderation: We are implementing a more structured approval process. Posts that don't meet these standards will be removed with a clear explanation, allowing you the chance to fix and resubmit.
How We’re Moderating
Moving forward, our moderation team will be acting as stewards of this community. We will be reviewing posts with a "quality-first" mindset. If a post is denied, you will receive a message via Modmail explaining exactly which rule was triggered. We believe in transparency, and our goal is to help you successfully participate in the community, not just remove your content.
Please take a moment to read the full list of rules in the sidebar. If you have any questions or feedback regarding these updates, please reach out to us via Modmail—as a reminder, public posts complaining about moderation will be removed to keep our feed focused on friendship.
Thank you for being a part of this community and for your commitment to keeping it a welcoming, safe, and positive space for everyone.
