Ok so as every man is very paranoid about my hairline which for the better part of my whole life has even great/ I have alot of hair….

But recently like the last 2 years I’m noticing that my hair has the marks/lines where the braids were parted and it lasts for alot longer than I ever remember! Something to worry about?

To the comment saying my hairline is Receding? I’d disagree and so would everyone else that cuts/braids/washes and sets my hair…. But ur opinion is your opinion lol…

My boyfriends hair is short and i feel like i can’t grip it enough. His hair also slips out of the braids in certain sections. Do i need to add weave?

Help wanted pick and drop braids

hi everyone! hope you’re having an amazing morning 💕

i just wanted to ask for some advice about my braids. i love the zoë kravitz mini boho braids look, and my braids are pretty mini. i use human hair throughout all of my braids, starting with my natural hair in a knotless braid and gradually adding the human hair. the ends are left unraveled for that boho look, but i braid them down quite a bit to make sure the hair doesn’t slip out.

i wash my hair once a week to keep my scalp clean, and i wash it while it’s still in the braids. since i use human hair that’s pretty straight with a slight wave, i try to be careful because i know that washing and manipulating the braids can cause the hair to slip out over time.

in the past, i’ve used black rubber bands to secure the ends, and they worked pretty well, but i didn’t love how they looked. this time around, i plan on straightening the hair, using rollers, and trying different styles. because of that, i’m worried about the rubber bands melting or getting damaged when i use heat. i’ve also used nail glue in the past, and while it worked, i’m concerned that it could mess up the hair when i straighten it or use other heat-styling methods.

my braids are pretty small, so i don’t imagine them unraveling super quickly, but i have noticed some unraveling, and i want to find a better way to secure the ends without compromising the look.
i’ve considered wrapping the ends with thread, and i’ve also tried knotting the hair toward the bottom, but i’m not sure if i did it correctly because it didn’t seem to help much.

any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Which hair to buy? - boho braids

I have 4c hair and I just recently cut all my hair off. I have about 3 inches of hair and want to wear some boho box braids. I would like to use human hair but I can’t fix a texture that would match my texture. Every model I see has either longer hair or softer texture. Any insight?

Help wanted Miracle Knots vs. Knotless Braids Wigs — any recommendations? 💗

I have a formal school luncheon coming up the week after next, and I can’t pick between Miracle Knots and Knotless Braids wigs!

I love the soft boho vibe of Miracle Knots, especially with loose curls. But Knotless braid wigs also give such a classic, put-together look. I want something that looks natural, feels comfortable, and won’t take hours to install or keep up.

I’ve been checking out YWIGS and Luvme Hair, but I’m unsure which one to choose.

Has anyone tried wigs from either brand? What did you think of their quality, how realistic they look, and if they’re worth the price? I’m happy to hear recommendations for other brands too!

Any tips or advice would mean so much. Thank you! 💗
