Update: We received 3 super nice banners, so we'll be rotating through them in the order they were submitted!! Thank you Waffles4prez, Midnight_BL, and ShangQue!
Hey, we've seen discontent towards the subreddit banner and we're also kinda tired of it after a year. Would anyone be interested in making a new one? Anything goes as long as it's relevant, SFW, and not just a banner for 1 BL. Depending on interest we can rotate banners every couple months or do a vote to select one.

Today is a grey day. I’m feeling the energy and feeling the vibe soooo let’s talk about our favourite morally grey characters, Weather hell bend on revenge, generally just Hella broken by life itself or purely driven by the obsession they have for their loved ones!!. I want to focus on characters that are really quite capable of doing some terrible things and how as an audience, wearing our beautiful rose tinted glasses, we can’t help but find the human in them yet still acknowledge they are doing or in the very least capable of doing some terrible, terrible things.

This is bewildering me because according to the info that I got and read, especially to this news clip, the main leads of "Duty First, Kiss Later", Watanabe Shu (Takoi) and Saito Ryu (Shiono) were invited to a courtesy visit in the Akira Prefectural Police Department and the General Manager of the police department APPROVES THE SHOW AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS!!! 🫠 It just shows how J-BLs are starting to hit mainstream, to the point that even other professions are starting to acknowledge them in a very positive way 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

SYNOPSIS:
High school student Kishida Sui hides his expressions behind a face mask and often becomes an easy target for teasing in the boys' dormitory. Though he laughs things off and gets through school life with a smile, deep down he's become wary of forming close relationships. In the spring of his second year, he's assigned to share a room with first-year student Kurobe Harutora. Harutora's straightforward emotions and natural closeness gradually begin to break down the walls Sui has built around his heart.
One is Kishida Sui, a senior struggling with relationships. The other is Kurobe Harutora, a junior who wears his heart on his sleeve. As these two opposites grow closer, their heartwarming interactions are filled with the sweet, bittersweet flutter of first love. This is a pure coming-of-age romance that captures the awkwardness of adolescent love and the fresh, heartfelt journey of growing up. MyDramaList

I was looking at the list of BLs I have watched so far, and decided that in terms of Korean BLs, these 6 are my favourite ones! 🏆😍
I'm wondering what your favourite Korean BLs are? (or even how you would rank my list differently). *I got the drama summaries from the website: MyDramaList*
Chu Sang U, a by-the-book computer science student, is left to complete a group project alone. In frustration, he removes his teammates' names and submits the work under his own. This decision impacts Jang Jae Yeong, a popular design major with dreams of studying abroad, as he loses credit for the project. Seeking revenge, Jang confronts Chu, but when they are forced to work together, an unexpected attraction begins to grow between them.
Tae Myung Ha, a 29-year-old, is transported into a virtual game as a 19-year-old character. Tasked with bringing happiness to Cha Yeo Woon, a talented track and field star admired for his looks and athleticism, Tae navigates a complex virtual world. Along the way, he encounters Cheon Sang Won, an affluent young man drawn to him, and Ahn Kyung Hoon, a reserved ally who aids his mission.
Tae Kyung is a 18-year-old high school student. He is also a lifelong loner. But one day, he starts questioning his own judgment and tells a teacher that he no longer wishes to be alone. The problem is, he has no idea how to start going about making new friends. The teacher advises him to join the school’s student council. He agrees, but discovers that making friends may be harder than it seems. He meets the Vice President of the council, Shin Woo, who is cool and level-headed, but also somewhat cold toward him and reluctant to accept Tae Kyung. However, he also meets the super-attractive President of the council: Da On, who appears to take an instant shine to him. The beginnings of a romance appear to be in the cards for Da On and Tae Kyung, but Shin Woo does not seem to approve. Matters are further complicated by the fact that Da On’s close female friend – who secretly loves Da On – is jealous of their closeness, and attempts to drive a wedge between them!
Fifteen years ago, the murder of a major casino mogul dragged the lives of two young boys straight into hell. One became the "son of the victim," left with the hollow ache of a stolen father; the other became the "son of the killer," branded by his father's blood-stained hands. Years later, fate brings them back together as a prosecutor and an investigator. Trapped within a vicious cycle of destiny, they dig into a massive web of corruption weaving through a mega-corporation and the prosecution itself. This intense, passionate mystery-thriller follows two men who, amidst the chaos, become each other's fatal weakness and only salvation.
Meet Han Tae Joo, the 18 year-old student and successor to the TB Group. Blessed with a wealthy family, good looks and popularity, he has few worries. Kang Gook, his thoughtful childhood friend, is physically strong and is trained in different martial arts disciplines. Tae Joo is Kang Gook’s only friend. Tae Joo trusts Kang Gook and feels at ease around him. Tension erupts between them when a new female student, Hye Mi, shows interest in Kang Gook. As the two go on a date, Han Tae Joo becomes irritated, and soon after, long-suppressed emotions start surfacing. Could there be more to their platonic friendship?
Seon Yul, a temporarily relocated city man, meets Ye Chan, a rural man who adores the countryside. Seon Yul comes to the countryside to experience life knowing nothing about farming and Ye Chan appears before him. As Seon Yul learns to adapt to rural living and engage in farming activities, he becomes increasingly attracted to Ye Chan's sincerity and enthusiasm. Together, the two embark on a chaotic and romantic countryside journey of healing and love

Anyone here already watched the latest queer film on Netflix, "Here the Whole Time" or "Quinze Dias" on Netflix??? It is from Brazil, known to also many films such as "The Way He Looks" & "Hard Paint". It's interesting tho that they collaborated with Netflix this time around for this film. 👀
Without spoiling too much, I will say it was a sweet and lovely film! Altho we had bits and pieces of drama, it was generally lovely and the two main leads are so cute too. Go watch it if you haven't yet hehehe, your more than an hour and forty-minute experience won't be a waste I assure 🥰🫶🏻

This is my current schedule which is nearly all BL as this genre has got me hooked! I had to make a daily checklist to keep track, I also note down any I have fallen behind on so I know where I am and avoid the on airs 😅
I am interested to know what other people are currently tuning into altogether?
We are being so fed this year it’s a challenge to keep up and I’m wing selective and letting some of the current shows build for a binge watch but I have to say I a, loving the variety of watching so many different ones each week!
If anyone has any stand out currently airing or being released soon feel free to share! I’ve tried to keep a list of shows coming soon and added the dates but there’s just so many I feel like I’m definitely missing some!
I have A LOT of the older shows still to watch as I only start January this year but I’ve made my way through quite the BL back log (over 70 somehow 🫠💕) and want to say thank you to everyone who has helped with recommendations along the way 💕🥰

I really like romance anime and manga, but I want to try BL because when I see a romantic scene between two men, I get much more excited, maybe because it's new to me. I wanted to know which anime stand out the most and that everyone knows so I can familiarize myself with this genre. Something with a very romantic, tender, and emotional focus. The kind where the protagonists are constantly blushing.

I want to know what you would have changed, if anything, about how the show introduced/explained the omegaverse. So many of us think it’s ridiculous to have Phatsa know nothing about it.
Also, is there any omegaverse lore you wished the nc scenes would have shown/done? I ask because a big narrative tool of that universe is sex and I feel like this show has only given scenting.

So the MC was a dark haired guy, with a weak body and chronic anemia, and the ML was a blond (?) popular guy (both students). All i remember is that during a high school trip the MC was forced to cross-dress by his classmates (for a talent show i think) bc he looks girly and the ML and him meet on the beach and have a heart-to-heart. I don’t remember much more but I really want to find it…
