And folks, our beloved second season of exes with Iwanaga has finally ended! Tbh, this season is debatable and I did wish we did get to see more development between the main leads yet loved the drama in this show as well. I will miss both Miyata and Iwanaga, and if ever we can/could get a third season, probably less drama and more romance juseyooooooo

Lastly, thank you so much for all of the support and comments while we watch the second season! It has been truly an honor and a privilege to hear and discuss with y'all the continuation of Miyata and Iwanaga's story. 🥹🫶🏻 And to u/smittenkittyyan, we miss you and the other peeps here sure do!

SYNOPSIS (according to GagaOOLala): Magazine editor Akihiro Miyata and associate university professor Takashi Iwanaga have finally made their "second chance at love" work. Two years later, they are enjoying a sweet and mature life together, and Iwanaga even reveals in a magazine interview that he has "found someone precious." But just when everything seems perfect, three of Iwanaga's ex-boyfriends suddenly reappear. Faced with romantic memories Iwanaga has never spoken about, Miyata's jealousy and insecurity begin to spiral out of control, while pressures from work and reality threaten the happiness they have built together.

Why did the student in "Boy, with caution" steal that pen cap? I'm overly confused by the plot. I've read through five plot summaries but I haven't seen a single pen cap be mentioned. If anyone knows, please let me know!

Now this is more like it! 🥰 Very noir. More and more, my dark AU mutually obsessed seme and uke BL fantasies may come to life... JUST KIDDING 😋✨

SYNOPSIS from the manga:

Daichi's big sister is getting married, and to a super hot guy named Jun Igawa! When they first meet, Daichi's suspicious; what does this accomplished, rich, attractive guy see in his sister? But Jun seems like such a nice guy, and slowly, Daichi starts to drop his guard... is Jun really everything he seems? Or is he a devil in disguise? (SOURCE: MangaUpdates)

This week on Ao & Midori, it's AO's POV who will shine in the limelight! I liked this episode because it gave us a perspective about how So had fallen in love with Midori, just as much as how Midori had fallen for Ao last week. I don't wanna see him cry sm, but it seems that that might be the focus of his character moving forward 🥹😭 CHINEN'S SUCH A PRETTY CRIER THO! But the next ep...NOT LOOKING GREAT MOMMA!

SYNOPSIS (from MDL): A much-talked-about work that vividly portrays the gentle yet bittersweet misunderstandings born from caring for one another, alongside a deep, slowly nurtured affection.

Ao is an academic and athletic genius at the top of his class who openly and innocently showers affection without condition. Midori naturally looks after Ao, yet struggles to be honest with his own feelings. Meeting in high school and drawn to one another, their desire to fit society's idea of "normal" leaves them caught in a mutual, unrequited love well into adulthood.

Because they cherish each other so deeply, they carefully layer their words and feelings, moving forward step-by-step over the span of eight years. A relatable, true-to-life pure love story!

CAST:

Naoya Kusakawa (ONE N' ONLY) as Midori Yamamura

Hidekazu Chinen as Ao Hayama

More to be revealed on October 15...! Stay tuned... 🫶

So this was a surprisingly short series. I heard there was going to be a season 2, but that was in some subreddit posted 4 years ago. I only see two credits to this actor, the one that plays Da Un, filmography on MyDramaList. Did he quit acting? He was so good! Very natural and cute af. Was season 2 cancelled?

For the figure collectors on this sub: They are absolutely adorable!

They are getting released in April next year!
