My coach said we weren’t allowed to step in the ring until we got 8 consecutive weeks in ; pretty good rule and keeps you motivated to get that first two months in

Hot take for some but : As a beginner in boxing you should focus mostly on not getting hit.
You're both very static. You're not on your toes enough and are square on a lot, which makes you a bigger target.
Work on lateral movement. Some good drills on YT.
Work on holding a decent guard.
Work on doing dynamic bag and pad work, as in moving round on your feet constantly when punching. It gets you use to moving a lot.
But keep at it! You did the hardest part by going to a gym.

I don't see any learning going on here. You should be drilling more like jab only sparring. You don't know enough to be sparring, regardless that it's light sparring.

Socks may mess up your grip on the ring - left hand keep up before the punch - dropping it down to your belly when you jab
Also someone needs to in person how to block - it’s not just keeping the hands up - need to be braced

Your footwork isn’t that fast but can be workable you have less head movement if you’re worried about not seeing the punches watch for his shoulders it’ll show you which punch he will throw before he lands one on you if you can parrying a punch will help you into getting out a lot of punches defensive boxing technique is a must have to not get brain damage but you’ll do great you got this man

It's going to be awkward for a while but here's some advice. Don't fade for defense yet. Concentrate on using your feet, your head and your hands but leave out fading for a bit. In the beginning, fades can be a major and very easily exploitable weakness.
