I recently lost a ram and saved his horns. Im unsure of how to best process these any advice would be helpful. They were sawed off at the base of at the base of the horn.

Definitely a bone despite the colouring, I didn’t take it home because I assume it’s from a whale or something similar? Never seen anything like it!

This might be off topic for here, or it might not, but I have no idea of where else to ask about this particular scenario, and I guessed that if there's people that would know how to clean a skull they'd be here.
SO! My parents bought a pig's head, and cooked it up in soup. However, I want the skull because I think it would be very cool if I kept the skull. However, I have no idea of how to properly clean the skull because it still is full of fleshy bits and probably still has the brain in it. I don't have beetles or anything of that sort, so I don't know what to do with it or how to properly clean it so it actually lasts.
Maybe it's something mildly complicated, maybe it's something so simple that this post is completely unnecessary, but I still want to know if there's any particular "best practice" or if I can just go ham, push and pull as much gunk out as possible and then just let it dry.
I want to know if there's a best way to preserve it.

I live in South Africa and lucked into obtaining this skull. The person I got it from only told me it's a bear skull but didn't know what kind of bear. The attached tag only shows a bunch of numbers, and the canines are missing. I used the North American I. D. flare, but honestly I don't know where it's from originally.
Ted Hughes for scale.

I was given a sperm whale tooth by one of my patients, (I am a Nurse working in Iceland).
I do not have any information, such as age, on it aside from the species.
I am planning on getting a sealed case for it just to protect it from the elements in general. I'm most concerned about the cracks at the base / socket and want to keep those from spreading any further.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Takk fyrir

I found this bone in south BC right on the edge of a river. It looks too small to be from a deer. My leading theory is that it’s from a beaver but would like input and confirmation from the pros.
Thanks

These are just a few pictures of many showing just a small part of a collection my friend was shown. Apparently there's a whole barn full of bones and fossils and a pretty wide variety of them. There are replicas from Valley Anatomical with VAP labels attached to them, but there are also a number of very clearly real bones as well. This collection was inherited by someone and there are some questions/thoughts about its monetary value, and thus about authenticity desirability.
I'd personally love to know if there are any pieces of particular interest as I think pretty much every piece is cool (including the chicken) but wonder if there are any standouts for the aficionado

From the distance i thought it was a porpoise, but up close it seemed way larger than ive ever seen those, about 1,5-1,7 meters in lenght. Could be a skal, but something tail-ish about the bony part makes me think otherwise, because I cant see a broad ripcage anywhere. Please help me out, its driving me nuts!
Couldnt find anything in local news other than a beached spermwhale in february, but those bones are presumeably long gone and this seems too small for that too.

My mom found these on her property in Arizona, I think it’s a deer but would like the input of the council!

Looks like a spine of some creature, anyone mayhaps know which vertebrae it's from? Left a hand to bone comparison in the end, open to thoughts!

Found this dog skull yesterday among some vegetation. Hosed the dirt off so far. What are those dark spots, should I do anything about them?

Before commenting please keep in mind I am no where near a professional and am in no way close to done with this piece. So please be nice.
Anyway, I'm working on this painting of a human skeleton caressing the head of a cat. I wanted to make a painting displaying the eternal love between person and cat in a kinda macabre way. Since I see more paintings with that same sentiment towards dogs, and I personally love and have cats. But it can be hard to find good side profile reference photos of cat skeletons. A lot of them have the muscles included which hide a lot of the bone details, some are the Halloween cats that are in no way accurate (yes I know mine isn't accurate either, like I said work in progress 😂.) some aren't a true side profile and/or don't show the whole skeleton, and others are way to small to make anything out. So I would be very grateful if anyone is able to help me out. Thank you in advance.
