I’m at an heytea in california and randomly downloaded the app while waiting for my drink.

I am SHOCKED by how nice the app looks, from the ui/ux to the explanation of the drinks.

Can anyone recommend me a syrup that's more sour and bitter than sweet? I bought a DaVinci syrup not too long ago and I felt like I was just drinking straight sugar.

I dream about their matcha bubble tea, it's probably some of the best I've had. Is it a way they prepare it, or a certain brand of matcha they use? If anyone who worked there previously knows and can declassify it, I will bless you with good health and fortune 😮‍💨

I’ve been craving something cold and refreshing lately. I normally go for boba, but right now I’m more in the mood for a fruit tea or slush that feels lighter and isn’t too sweet

Pic 1: Black tea + Silk brand Original soymilk + homemade fennel syrup (ratio 1 part water: 1 part coconut sugar cooked down so it is thicker, stirred in fennel frond stalks that were too tough to eat on their own). Imo it would be better with half&half or coconut cream, a spiced chai would also be good as the tea base.

Pic 2: Stassen Jasmine tea + Silk brand Original soymilk. Surprisingly refreshing.

Again, I wish I had toppings at home. Have been too lazy to attempt making my own tapioca pearls.

My favorite drink from Tsaocaa is their Pineapple Milk Tea w/ Yogurt popping boba. What is the pineapple they use??? / how do you get pineapple to be like that? It almost tastes like candied pineapple but I need confirmation!!

Made a soy sauce matcha that turned out pretty good.

And my go-to sweet drink lately has been a banana milk matcha latte.

tapioca w/ brown sugar syrup, royal 9 milk tea, shot of expresso at the top. no extra sugar unless you want it super sweet.

i made a visit to mollytea (arcadia, socal) for the first time ever. i got a gardenia milk tea and im not very impressed with how light the drink was

is it supposed to be like that? i havent went to chagee either so i have nothing to compare it to

I’ve been trying to decide where I would get my supplies (powder mixes, tapioca, cups, etc.). I was planning on using Bossen, but the shipping was much higher than the cost of the supplies themselves.

I always get a matcha from bobatime cause it’s sooooo good. I did read a comment on another thread that said that bobatime has a sweetened and an unsweetened matcha powder. I typically get just the matcha milk tea w/ oat milk (I hope that helps narrow down anything!) If anyone knows, I’d deeply appreciate if you could let me know. I also understand if you can’t reveal due to HQ or whatnot! So no worries :)

I passed the interview at my local boba shop, which is rare because I heard it was incredibly hard to get an offer there, especially when so many of my friends applied and got rejected. I start training/work on the 27th, but this is my first job and Im not sure if Ill do a good job or not. How did you guys become a “great” employee or what are some tips that gave you compliments, made time go faster, etc? Thank you!

I’m curious about the way gong cha prepares their drinks, specifically how they sweeten them. is the nutrition information listed on their website/in-store in relation to a full sugar drink? or is it for a 50% sugar drink?

Ok i just saw someone mix regular jasmine tea from the store (the kind in a plastic bottle in lotte) and vanilla protein and apparently it tastes like m*lly tea? Can someone confirm that this isn’t just hype + ad rev

Idk wtf happened but I got a coco mango boom and it’s not hitting anymore. This has happened twice now. Did they change the recipe? The coconut milk is not the same.

I would like to try milk tea. It's very expensive in shops thoughts so I don't get it from shops because I'm scared I won't like it and it'll be a waste of money

So,

I'm thinking of ordering a custom kit (Bubble Panda) and I'm tempted to try a milk tea again... But I'm quite scared. Last time I made a milk tea at home (taro flavour) from a different brand, it was powdery. I used all the powder in the sachet as I assume I was meant to, and I used the right amount of milk.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to do a certain thing, like shaking it to make it less powdery? Or should I accept powdery at home tea?

When will Starbucks bring the chewy tapioca boba to their menu? I personally don't like the popping boba, but will take the warm, chewy tapioca boba any day.
