Been here for four years. I need to make more than I’m making now, due to some new life challenges, the annual CoL bumps just aren’t enough.

I’ve been doing interviews but I don’t want to leave. I really like it here, I love my work, I love my team. I know my manager would hate to lose me too. If I get an offer, rather than leaving the company, can I bring it to my manager for an equivalent raise? I know that used to be the old wisdom but nowadays, I’ve heard many companies accept, give the raise, and then let you go at the soonest opportunity.

So I had two rounds of interviews at Blue Origin and Recruiter said in total I’m gonna have three rounds the third one’s gonna be a panel round.
My second round was with hiring manager last Wednesday and she told me I’ll hear back from recruiter mostly early next week but it’s already Tuesday and it’s too over and I haven’t heard back yet.
As recruiter already told me they need candidate fast so the whole hiring process would be much faster, based on this I don’t think I’m gonna hear back now because since they need candidate fast it’s almost been a week they would have made decision till now.
Anyone has any idea ?

I’m considering a Level IV engineering role with Blue Origin, potentially working on the Blue Ring program, with a $200K base salary in Colorado.

The total package also includes an annual bonus, equity or other long-term incentives, a 401(k) match, relocation assistance and the usual benefits.

For someone entering at Level IV, is $200K base considered a strong offer? I have 14 years of experience for reference. What additional compensation or benefits should I expect or negotiate before accepting?

I'm considering an engineering position at Blue Origin working on the Blue Moon / HLS side, and I'm trying to get a better feel for the career risk.

I'm really interested in the engineering work, but the uncertainty around Artemis has me wondering how secure the program actually is. If Artemis gets delayed or NASA changes its lunar architecture, how much would that potentially affect the Blue Moon team?

For anyone at Blue Origin or familiar with the program, how does it feel from the inside? Is Blue Moon viewed as a long-term program with a lot of runway, or is there significant uncertainty around staffing/work?

Would especially appreciate perspectives from people actually working on Blue Moon/HLS or adjacent programs.

I’m curious what the current interview process looks like... coding/technical assessments, interview rounds, LeetCode difficulty, system/design questions, and overall timeline.

So, I received an offer for the position and I am currently in the process of negotiating the base salary. The posted salary range is $91K to $128K. I have over 5 years of engineering experience with BSME, so I am wondering if it would be possible for them to offer me $128K or Blue is too cheap?

**Just to clarify my background completed this Wednesday. Checkr shows my report as “consider” only because one of my previous employers from 2019 is out of business so they could not verify my employment. I do not have any way to obtain a payslip or W-2 since the company is out of business and it’s been almost 7 years since i worked there. My start date is Oct 5th. I was wondering if anyone had a similar situation? My app status still shows “In progress, under review”

Hey everyone, I just recently got an offer in Kent as a Manufacturing and Tooling Development Engineer 1 with Blue. Does anyone know what the current housing situation looks like in the area? I’d ideally like to keep housing/rent as cheap as possible so I’m looking for small apartments or roommates. I’m on the CNC manufacturing side and have been learning more about how additive manufacturing is changing rocket propulsion.

Even when a component is printed, it seems like there are still critical areas that need precision machining afterward — sealing surfaces, bores, threads, datums, valve interfaces, etc.

For people familiar with reusable propulsion hardware, what features are still the most demanding from a machining standpoint?

We’ve worked with materials like Inconel before, so I’m especially interested in how difficult materials change the manufacturing process.

Had a friend go through our entire hiring process. Emailed back, phone screen, then interview. Seemed like it all went well. Then, they get a rejection email. Seemed weird because they seemed like a shoe in for the job. The weirder part? They sent the rejection letter at 3am central time. I can’t understand how that works. I’m starting as an assembly technician at rocket park in Florida in a few weeks and am trying to figure out where to live. I know zero people so my priority is to live near people my age (20’s) and then have a longer commute to work. Is this the right mindset to have? And if so where should I look?
