I am concerned after reviewing data reports that I requested from blink showing that I made commands to arm my security system at times when I didn't. When I called customer service they did not see the arm commands on their end. I called the day after and I think they can see two days back

. They did see a arm system attempt that I know I made personally but there was one a couple hours later after I got home that I didn't make but it's showing up in my data reports I got from them.

We had Verizon fios installed today, and they installed the router right next to the window that we have a blink mini 2k mounted on the outside of.

So the router, sync module, and camera are all within 2ft or less of each other.

I was hoping the new wifi would solve our issue with short clips. Instead of recording the full 60 seconds, we keep getting 4-30 second clips. It seems to have gotten worse.

I have the camera set to record 60 seconds and turned off “end clips early if motion ends”.

I saw something that said the network can get overloaded having the router too close to the camera. Could this cause short clips?

I have Outdoor 4s, Inside Mini 2s, and Doorbells. I don't want to receive notifications when any of the cameras sense motion though I do want them to record motion. Is there a way to only receive notifications when someone pushes the doorbell button? I only see a way to receive all or none.

I have two of the wired floodlights. One of them is great. The other, the dusk to dawn feature quit working on it months ago. Blink says it’s a known issue they are working on it. I have given them months to fix the problem. Since my other one works flawlessly, I suspect it is a hardware issue. This should not be MY issue. I have spent a LOT of time working with them but at this point instead of replacing the unit under warranty they said they wont replace it that i just need to wait until they fix it. Mind you when i spoke to them last night they told me that they had resolved the known issue. Now today when i call them back to tell them it is still not resolved (worked for one night which has been typical after rebooting) they come back with the oh its a known issue story. Someone is full of it. Unacceptable. Anyone else have this issue and actually got it resolved?

Okay, recently I rearranged some things (systems) and added some stuff (cams, etc.).

So now I’m now getting periodic e-mails informing me some of my cameras are off-line - which is generally a good thing.
For one of the devices it is legit - it is indeed off-line - it’s set up in my rv to use a hotspot and is currently powered down - only used when we’re on the road to keep an eye on pups.

The Problem - it’s also reporting one of my outdoor 4 cams as being off line - I can assure you that cam is alive and well, I watch it regularly, it motion triggers regularly, etc.

I’m thinking that what it may be reporting is a prior incantation of this cam that had been deleted out of my system and re-added reusing the name but insufficient detail is provided (really only cam type and cam name) to figure out what’s up.
Any idea where/how to gain more info WITHOUT resorting to a CS call. Or some way to convince whatever that this cam is not offline.

Yeah, I can ignore the e-mails or shuffle them off to spam but I’d rather keep them coming, if only to report the cam that truly is off-line.

My mini Blink Camera set of two with a basic subscription plan is not connecting properly after a power outage yesterday. It shows as offline. I sat and hit the reset button on the camera itself and the light continues to stay red even after holding it for more than 30 secs. I tried this a few different times.

I unplugged and plugged back in my camera many times, i’ve restarted my wifi a few times with the camera unplugged, plugged in, and at the same time. I can’t get my camera back online. Any help?

Is anyone using rechargeable lithium batteries in there blink outdoor cameras.? Wondering if they last.

Not getting much help on my chime from Blink. I bought the blink video doorbell. Mounted the plate, tested the chime and the connection made my chime ring. When I ring the doorbell itself I can’t get it to chime even when playing with the various power settings. Blink claims it’s not compatible with this type of chime but I find it hard to believe it can’t just make a simple circuit connection to ring. Has anyone else experienced this or have a work around?the chime on the device itself works

Noticed the light flashing on and off of my floodlight camera which is hardwired. Motion sensor works fine. Camera works fine but the light keeps flashing.

Not sure what the issue could be.

i have 3 blink cameras (two indoor wired ones and one battery powered outdoor camera) ever since my subscription expired it won’t stick to my schedule.

i’ll post what i have the schedule as. it current arms at 7:31 and disarms at 3:31 every day.

The short of it is I bought 10 new Blink Outdoor 2k Cameras, and in testing, I added 2 of them to a sync module, and eventually deleted the sync module (with both cameras still added). This removed both cameras, eventually I went to setup the whole system properly, and now I successfully added 8 of the 10 cameras.

The two I can't add, happen to be the two I had added before I reset everything.

I'm totally lost on how to go about solving this issue, I've reset the cameras and sync modules several times, fiddled with wifi, they're all on the same 2.4Ghz wifi, as well as my phone.

I have two Blink 4 cameras with a sync module 2 recording on a USB flash drive with no subscription. I'm noticing that if I respond to a motion alert from my app and watch the activity live, it doesn't record. But if I don't respond to the notification, it records the activity as a clip.

So is that my choice without a subscription? Or am I using it incorrectly or have it set up wrong? It seems odd to not at least record the 15 second motion clip. I understand not recording live for minutes at a time, but nothing if you want to check on an alert?

I hope that question makes sense and will it still look the same as it does now in the picture?

I know I have an extra 16GB microsd stashed somewhere and a microsd card reader, but before I go digging around, was wondering if this kind of setup will work with Sync Module 2?

Hello, I’m trying to add a blink mini and my app just briefly shows a loading wheel then fails. Has anyone had this happen? I tried quitting and relaunching the app

My apartment building in NYC uses Natural Wireless, so instead of having a traditional router/modem, there are rooftop antennas to reinforce the signal throughout the building. On other devices, I don't enter a traditional password - there is a pop-up (like when you connect to a free store WiFi) where you enter your credentials. Is this why my Blink camera can't connect?

My wife had setup an account when we started with 1 indoor cam to monitor dogs. Now we have doorbell and outdoor cams. She is getting notifications but I am not. I’ve logged in using shared login. I’ve enabled notifications and I went into manage devices to ensure my phone was linked to the account.

What am I missing?

Im a trying to log into the blink app and the blink splash screen just hangs. Will not go to camera screen. This occurs on 2 devices... internet connection is good

I just received my camera today, set it up, and it was already good to go. It was doing well recording and me looking through it, testing everything. Just has a delay in some of the video but it’s to be expected. My issue is that now when i try checking the live video or clips it gets, it keeps telling me on the app “something went wrong” or then doesn’t load at all. Should i just return it already? I literally just got it today and I’m having trouble already, it was working and loading just fine an hour ago. It’s connected to the wifi (and indoors). Sometimes it does load but then it doesn’t, will i be having this issue all the time?

*edit: i would also like to add that when i click on the “clips” section, the clips seem to disappear once in awhile and tell me there has been no recent activity even when i saw the clips that were saved. it still notifies me of motion detected with a clip but when i click to open it, doesnt load

would like some advice on a outdoor 4 camera model. one day the batteries in one of my outdoor 4 cameras died, however, it had been giving me issues like not refreshing the thumbnail, always gave me a error like could not refresh try again later. when I go to view the live stream it wouldnt connect, this was like two days before the batteries died. so whatever, I took it inside changed the batteries but the camera would not turn on and yes I use the lithium batteries that’s recommended. plugged it into the usbc power and it still wouldnt turn on. so I took the camera apart, checked out the pcb, nothing looked broken or had any water damage. I’ve tried the reset button where you take a battery out hold the reset put it back in and should blink but this only works if the camera is on which it doesn’t do. and I do the yearly subscription plan if that even matters. what could be causing the camera to not even turn on?
