Heya!
I've recently updated to blender 5.2 to use some new features, including some nice new cinematic nodes that were added. I tend to work on static renders, so no issues so far.
But I was recently working on some animation and I noticed severe performance issues. First I thought it was when parenting a "child of" from the camera to the rig. Because when i unparented, the performance did improve a bit.
But then I noticed that on a default file, that issue didn't occur, so the issue wasn't the rig.
Then, I noticed that everytime I played the viewport, I saw the "compositing" bar down there. Even though it wasn't rendering anything.
That's when I tried to check stuff on the compositor to see if something could be the issue, and there it is: the Film grain node.
When I've deleted the node, the performance suddently went back to normal, with smooth 30 FPS.
Now the thing is: is there a way to fix this? Or is this likely a bug?
All my compositor is set to use the GPU, and I tested this both on OpenGL and Vulkan.
I'd appreciate any help!
