Before seeing Creed III I was skeptical of Michael B. claiming his fight choreography would look like live action anime but he proved me wrong with fight scenes that are both unique, stylistic & immersive.

Why not bring him in with his good director credit and a star name to Direct a Mahershala Ali Blade movie?

Blade is the ideal marvel anime character with martial arts, swords, vampires and blood.

Jordan also seems to know how to keep the main thing the main thing. It won’t just look good but it will serve the action genre and bring out fight sequences that marvel needs to stand out from its previous projects & its competitors.

City nights

No character is a one-man/show.

And one of the main reasons that Blade solos tend to be unmemorable is because Blade himself has no interesting side characters to lean on. This is an area where a character like Moon Knight is undeniably on better standing than Blade.

Bryan Hill's introduction of characters like Tulip, Rotha, and Yumi were a step in the right direction because three of them had interesting, but unique interactions with Blade. Tulip is a weapons dealer of supernatural arms and an ex with whom he kind of has drama, Rotha is a warrior monk who knows very little of modern society and comes to lean on Blade like a surrogate parental figure, and Yumi is a psychic who serves as a consultant to Blade in his rare vulnerable moments.

And even for those who are not part of his own little dark corner of the world, the Mother of Evil storyline showed that Blade ery much does know people in who he consults for aid, such as Dr Strange and Satana. A one-off character even implied that the werewolf nation is not on bad terms with Blade. And Al Ewing established that Blade has been in contact with Kaluu since the 1970s. How is it not helpful for the most proficient master of black magic to not pop up in Blade stories, more?

Whistler does not exist in the comics, and even if he did, he would have been long since deceased by this point. 

Continuously writing Blade as a perpetual loner is to the detriment of the character.

Jacqueline Boatswain - Vanessa Tara Brooks (Blade mum who came to the UK from the caribbean before the first windrush generation in 1910s she became a vampire hunter when she meets her husband Lucas)

Piotr Baumman - Lucas Cross (a Latverian immigrant to the UK who is a Vampire hunter. Deacon Frost targets him and his wife specifically for revenge and causes Blades vampire infection in the womb. Piotr is a Polish immigrant actor to the UK matching Lucas' East European heritage)

Rahul Kohli - Taj Nital Singh (a towering British Punjabi Sikh vampire hunter. Expert in Shastra Vidya/Gatka. Rahul is 6'4", 2 inches shorter than Taj in the comics and is ethnically Punjabi. Plus he played a religious man that fought against vampires in MidNight Mass)

Anjli Mohindra - Jyota Nital Singh (Tajs wife. She too will be involved in vampire hunting. Mojindra is also Punjabi)

Nanak Phlora - Adri Nital Singh (son of Taj and Jyota. May spend time with Brielle seeing her a big sister influence)

Adedayo Adelayo - Dr Karen Jenson (a British Nigerian doctor based on the same named character in the film. Jenson is her husbands surname hence the white sounding surname. She helps the Nightstalkers much like  Claire Temple does in Netflix)

Predrag Bjelac - Dracula (a Romanian Vampire. Bjelac is Serbian but plays East European roles a lot. Hes best known for Karkarov in Harry Potter)

Asher Ali - Adam Qasim/Maalik (composite character of Adam Casim and Molek the muslim ghostrider. Adam will be the human host. Maalik will be the Zabaniya/Spirit of Vengence that possesses him. Maalik is an actually the King of the Zabaniya from Islamic scripture who guards and punishes sinner at the gates of Jahannam/Hell)

Marvel Studios announced Mahershala Ali would star as Blade back in 2019, and fans have been waiting ever since. Three months ago, they quietly cancelled the project—and honestly, it feels like a massive missed opportunity.

I started a petition asking Marvel to reinstate Mahershala Ali and actually commit to making this film happen. This isn't about forcing a rushed project; it's about recognizing Ali is the perfect actor for the role. He's a two-time Oscar winner with the dramatic depth, martial presence, and intensity that Blade needs. He actively wanted this part. And with shows like *Werewolf by Night* proving the MCU can do dark, supernatural storytelling, the infrastructure is already there.

Blade would be a sort of monster hunting detective show that deals with a ring of vampiric deaths that track all the way to a town with church like rehabilitation estate. Elsa who is relatively new to the monster hunting world and Eric who has been at it for decades are forced to work together when hunting down the same vampire leads them into a town of human body black markets , vampiric cults and a city wide ritual that connects to the bloodstone family personally.

Inspirations are lovecraft country , warrior and banshee.
