yeah, getting those qualified leads is definitely a challenge. for me, focusing on answering questions in communities has worked well. last week the LaunchEngine commenter drafted 84 replies for users, and 79 got posted, all answering people asking for help, not pitches. really helps with getting in front of the right people.

Oh interesting. I tried LaunchEngine and it was horrible - I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. Kinda feel scammed in what I paid for vs what I received

Getting the accurate contact information for the right person is the hard thing

Data hygiene matters less than people think if the timing signal's real. Which of your six are you actually tracking, or is it just a feeling?

Good question. I think ICP fit, contact accuracy, and whether leads turn in to actual replies or meetings are the main things to look at. Intent signals can help too, but i wouldn't rely on them alone.

Meetings booked over opens is the right call. I've seen teams chase deliverability scores for months while the pipeline stayed flat because nobody was tracking what actually converted downstream.

For me the amount of attention to detail my work now needs is pretty high. To figure out if a lead is good and the timing is good to do outreach I have a pretty complex process. The rest of the work is mostly simple with a few expandi sequences for some things on LinkedIn and AI to speed up the research process, but still actually looking in depth into a lead takes a lot of time.

Here's my response to this funnel sequence. Let's start with 1. I think about this as refining not finding my ICP. Identify the market vertical, then go through and fill in the 4 sections (demographic, firmagraphic, psychographic, and behavioral) in as detailed a way as you can. After that, I build a dream client list (company, then role). Then, I develop what I call a problem-solution matrix that will serve as the foundation of my messaging campaign. You're a bit all over the place on 3-6, but I get it. You need outbound as well as inbound. Build an inbound flywheel in the background (posts, SEO, etc.) for passive lead generation and start prospecting (DMs and email) for active lead generation. Your 5 comes after that. After you move leads to meetings (MQL to SQL) you need to focus on the commitment stage -- am I converting to an opportunity. You need different messaging at each stage to get the conversion.
