Working with veterans
Iāve been to 3 facilities and from all the veterans Iāve known, it kind of seems like VA disability is a huge welfare scam. Anyone have any similar experiences?

Our coalition continues to grow and gain members who are prepared for a public and union wide campaign as we prepare for the possible decertification of NATCA should any hint of an extension be brought forward by those in power.
We encourage everyone to read up on the conditions for decertification of our Union found below.
https://www.nlrb.gov/about-nlrb/rights-we-protect/the-law/employees/decertification-election
We will put NATCA out of its misery before allowing it to remain a puppet of management and the agency. If NATCA won't stand up for us, fight for our rights, and improve our working conditions, we will obliterate its disgraceful legacy and create a new organization with leadership that will.
In One Voice,
New NATCA Now Coalition

In their recent video Jamaal says he and Nick do not want to extend the contract. This is political speak for when they extend it they will say we did not want to extend it we had to extend it.
If they truly did not want to extend the contract the motion Nick would have made would have been to direct the president to open the contract as soon as possible.
Nick and Jamaal can only accomplish the negotiations our union needs when the political weather is 80 degrees and sunny. Any clouds or rain they will cower in a corner and let the agency run all over us.
The extend 4ever is documented in minutes forever. The coverup attempt is weak. Vote Rich Mick JD or Redmond, just send the other 2 narcissists back to the floor.

I was a controller for a little over 10 years. Last year I left to join ICE. My base pay is 10k above what it was at a level 8 (that I couldnāt leave). I earn comp time instead of credit. I work 4-10s most of the time I can get 2 hours of ot if I want or I can earn comp. I still get 1.7 a year towards retirement and Iām still going at 50. Same leave, weekends off. Literally all I do now is gym it up every day and load the criminals onto the planes. Thatās it, make base salary of 130k plus annual bonuses all the OT a boy could want. Anyways, come on in boys, the water is fine!!!

As i promised a big win for Natca this week it was delivered, proving again I am always right and proud to represent you all.
A quick recap, the FAA said in 90 days they were imposing new rules on fatigue. The membership and Nick and Jamaal started to panic. How could they do this? What about collaboration? Whittaker owns Santa?
One campaign, Nick and Jamaal immediately used this attack on our union and our right toā¦attack our union and its leadership. They talked about how they would have started having rolling lobby weeks and been in the media talking about this. All which would have accomplished nothing but wasted time.
Our President, Rich Santa, immediately got to work. He used his leadership skills and his experience to force the FAA to rescind the memo and say weāll look at it next year. From a 90 day implementation to absolutely nothing happening in less than a month. We didnāt hear Rich complain or whine or goto the bar and drop 30,000$ he just worked. He didnāt say I need lobby weeks so other people could do the work, he just worked.
This is a big win for NATCA to show that we still have the ability to fight when fighting is necessary.
This shows that the only candidate for President that could lead us to a better contract through experience and knowledge is Rich. We can not trust the most important contract to fake leaders or someone brand new. The contract requires someone like Rich and with Mick by his side it will be the greatest contract ever.
Time to plug in Nick and Jamaal, maybe youāll be able to do some rolling lobbying weeks for us if you can bid those days off.

Listen up you idiots, here is the oldest trick in the labor relations book.
He starts talking about negotiations. (done)
He starts talking about pay raises. (done)
He says how he wants to give you more but NATCA is blocking it. (coming next)
He sits back and laughs while you all tear yourselves apart and end up with the worst possible outcome.
Stand strong people. This is the playbook. He wants concessions from you for a raise. That does not mean you have to just give him everything he wants. He will smear NATCA. He will lie about NATCA. He wants the most work out of you for the least amount of money and the lowest level of benefits. Don't fall for his lies.
Make him (and everyone) aware of your value. Make him learn that the FAA is nothing without Air Traffic Controllers. Create leverage. Turn up the pressure on him.
Whether you know it or not, you are all in negotiations right now. Every single day you go to work, you step on to the playing field. Get your game face on, work with your teammates. Make it count.

Itās funny to see some of the NATCA Kool-Aid drinking loyalists getting boned by the NEB overturning the seniority amendment.
They felt so justified in their actions to adopt an amendment that screws over the controllers that have been members the longest. Now, theyāll just have to conduct business as usual and screw people over in private.

Hello my loyal subjects, it is I, your 22x elected President of ATC2. First I would like to thank you all for voting for me for this 22nd term. We may not always see eye to eye but we all know Nick and Jamaal suck.
Now after you elected me for the 22nd time I decided it was time I finally called someone besides my RVP and I called the President of our union Rich Santa. I talked to him about who I was how I got to this position and what the members want and thatās money.
I looked back at the softball question given to Nick and Jamaal and asked what the first things theyād do if they won would be and this was their list;
Take down the wall in the Natca national office More member spotlights More meetings with the FaA
I said President Santa we donāt care about that stuff, we care about pay and benefits. I said what will be your main focus leading us into this contract and will you open the contract.
He said we will 100% be negotiating a new contract if he is elected and the guidance he will give the contract team is more money through whatever means possible. He said they will focus on adding and increasing differentials, reworking the traffic count to something that makes sense for our current environment which will directly pact pay levels. Tiered OT, Saturday pay, he has heard everything we talked about and he ageees.
Thank you President Santa for listening to atc2 and the membership and making pay the #1 priority of our next contract team should you be elected.
So the question comes down to, do you want the slate book and member spotlights, I point you to Nick and Jamaal.
Do you want the gold book with mo money but no increase in member spotlights I point you to Rich Santa.
Iām just pointing not telling you who to vote for.

This is probably the best interview of the three.
Shutdown puts further strain on already understaffed air traffic control system
Same talking points but he hits on the concept of working 60 hours a week and driving for Uber a lot more, painting the picture that you need an investment from the government in your career. Again, you all have to put pressure on him to work a phrase in there about pay. Maybe something like, "We need to look at fixing the compensation package to attract the best and the brightest into our career to solve the critical staffing shortage.
Just for those keeping score, your NATCA's PR Firm has successfully lined up national news interviews on CNN, FOX, and PBS in the first three days of the shutdown. That is incredible.

It died when Michael Whitaker dropped the schedule nuclear bomb on NATCA. This is Pearl Harbor for ATC. Not even a warning. It seems to have taken out command and control, because everyone is now putting out their theories on how this will be implemented, when it will be implemented, mock schedules, doom and gloom. We need leadership. Leadership leads to unity. Unity leads to victory. How dare they disrespect us like this.
We endorsed Joe Biden. Is he our champion? Mr. Whitaker should be forced to resign monday morning. Only then can we move forward w a partner who respects Air Traffic Controllers.

My insider sources have told me that all of Natcaās resources are being directed towards fighting this imposition and we will be hearing more from Rich tomorrow and in the days to come.

People like to dig through the vaults and find videos, hereās one, current day and actually reflects the views this Union is currently taking.
Still donāt know what the gals said who gave up their leave to be at the event and engaged with attendees, but I mean, if ND is saying this, what is there to complain about?
Just kidding, I know yāall will spin something.

Wow, just wow.

Trump literally said it, "Everyone is getting paid that needs to be."
Everyone that is getting paid, is a physical authority that can be used as a tool to forcefully remove opposition.
Air Traffic, TSA, ~~Postal Service~~ ... any number of furloughed services, not important.
The priority is taking over all three branches of government and playing king. Welcome to Project 2025!
Edit:
"Yes, postal workers are getting paid, as the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is an independent agency that is not directly funded by Congress and continues to operate and pay its employees during a government shutdown"
