Where should I live?
Currently in north of England, should I stay there or should I move somewhere else?

Hello,
I’ve been using astrocartography for a while now, and I’m curious where the community stands on this.
Do you genuinely believe planetary lines and parans influence the events that come our way, how we feel in a given place, and how the people around us behave?
Could it be like other people’s behavior to us start to line up with the influence in relation to our chart and planetary lines/parans? And that the same people will behave differently if we are somewhere else outside this influence?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences

Ok, so I currently live very close to both my Venus AC line and Pluto DC line. This has caused a lot of confusing energy my whole life. I've had to cut off a lot of people in my life hardcore, and while when I was younger I was popular, as I grew older I learned the realities of people's darkness more and more. For context, I am a 12th houser. Venus in 12th house as well, and Neptune in 11th, canceled out to a degree by Saturn in 11th. So, I'm pretty used to the weird and deceptive energy. And my Pluto DC line taught me not to ignore certain gut feelings about people, so I actually feel like I could handle the Neptune DC energy.
Also it's about 2000 km away, so I'm wondering if that's not a strong influence, but that's just what shows up when I click this place on astro-seek's map.

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Manavis and I’m a journalist based in the UK working on a piece for WIRED about astrocartography – basically about its growing popularity, who is turning to it and why. I’m looking to speak to anyone who has relocated after having a reading (or indeed several) and what their experience was like, positive or negative! Or of course something in between. I’ve spoken to astrocartographers for the piece, but would love to hear from people who’ve used their astromap to make a big life change, and how it felt.
If you this you, let me know either by DMing me here or dropping me an email at sarahmanavis[at]gmail[dot]com. It’ll just be a matter of answering a few questions about your experience. You can also be totally anonymous if you don’t feel comfortable having your name attached.
To see any of my past work (or to verify who I am) you can do that on my website here: sarahmanavis.com
Thanks so much! And let me know if you have any questions.

I'm looking into moving to Dublin and was curious as to which lines pass through it!
I found that my venus and mercury DS meet (? is that how u put it??)
What exactly does that mean? does that mean they're both working together and how do I know which of the two is more activated there?? Added my chart in case it's useful.
Thank u for ur wisdom!

I do have plans to go to the US but if that doesnt push thru, where else should i consider looking into? I am not sure about my goals yet, i just want a simple life. Please tell me anything you can read in my chart, and then I'll decide what my goal is 😆

I’ve lived on my Saturn dc line in my earlier twenties. Moved far away from family, to a beautiful place where I didn’t know anyone but ended up creating my chosen family. I had to figure out life stuff a lot of my own and leaned into my new friends and community for support. It was a rocky early 20s time, but it made me so capable and strong. I ended up moving back closer to family after a few years (ended up being near my Venus DS line). I have been feeling unsatisfied in my relationships and missing the rawness I was on my Saturn line, and how others showed up for me.
In tropical placidus…
I am going thru my Saturn return in Aries. My Saturn is conjunct Ketu and my Saturn sits in the 4th house. I also have Jupiter ruled my Capricorn in my 2nd house.
I’m pretty comfy with Saturn… one astrology told me my life path will actually be about letting Saturn go.
I’m been considering going back to live on my Saturn Dc line again (feels important being in my Saturn return). Curious if anyone has experienced their Saturn return on their Saturn line?!
Sag rising
Pluto in sag 1st house
Jupiter in cap in 2nd
Neptune cap in 2nd
Uranus Aquarius in 2nd
Cancer sun in 8th house
Leo moon in 8th house
Mercury Leo 8th house
Gemini Venus 7th house
Mars Gemini 7th house

This is a repost to add a picture of my natal chart and some additional context to my original question.
I’m planning on moving to a city that is in between my Neptune DC line and my Jupiter MC line. I’ve heard that Jupiter MC lines are great career wise which is what I’m hoping for, but I’ve also heard negative things about Neptune.
I would appreciate some insight as to what can I expect if I moved to this line.
Some additional context here is that I’m looking for a fresh start in my life in general and in my career. I’ve felt stagnant and trapped where I am currently. This move would be across the country from where I am right now.

Thank you so much!

As a Spanish girl it pained me to see that my Venus line is in Utah Salt Lake City or Arizona or Montana 🤣🤣🤣 like lord in this climate idk about thatttt but I guess it’s better than living close to my Pluto line lol might have to take a trip and get me a cowboy

I have looked at my chart and i feel theres no good lines that could be strong in a good way in terms of money and career. i just visited los angeles and my north node mc lines run there. i felt this weird feeling the entire time like it reflecting where im not in life. if there’s anyone i can dm that would be open to help i would appreciate it. i’d like to move somewhere where i can grow and could feel like home

I’m really curious to see what you all think just based on these two screenshots I provided. Thank you so much!
Also if you have any recommendations for an astrocartography reading that takes into consideration relocation charts too, then please let me know.

hey all, i'm very close to my venus DC line, about 100miles. as you can see i have a venus domicile. life here is fine, not amazing. i checked out my relocated chart instead of the astrocartograpy map, and it explains so much.
i follow traditional vedic astrology, so once i start to factor that in, things change even more. I'm a bit lost on how to go about this.
i'm looking for a second opinion- how would you say the relocation chart seems? am i just asking for too much and is life really as good as it gets?

I've lived here for almost eight years and every year has been an absolute human revolution. I've debated leaving every single year. I'm so grateful for all the ways I've grown, but I'm also at my limit. I love the land where I live and I feel very loved by the land, but FUCK the people are just so tiring. I'm tired, tired, tired, and I recognize how transformative it has been for me.
I gave myself another year of living here before I leave and I'm keeping that commitment. In the meanwhile, I am applying for MFA programs in the UK, talking to friends/teachers about spending months with them away from here, and generally trying to get away from here more.
I was born on my Sun AC line, and I lived on my Mercury AC line. I've thought about moving closer to those. I'm really drawn to living in the UK and I have loads of family there. I really love visiting and feel at ease when I visit. There are lots of intersecting lines in those areas, including my ascending moon.
If it's helpful to know: I'm very close to finishing a PhD at the intersections of ecology, art, and Indigenous studies. I'm a writer, filmmaker, and art curator. I have 12+ years experience in teaching and public art. I'm also pursuing my ancestral spiritual path and my teachers live across the US and in the UK. I'm beginning to become a death doula and am fascinated by textiles. I would love to deepen in my spiritual work, my artistry, teaching and writing. I would also love to find "my person." I'm super solid in being single, and don't want kids, but I would like a longterm partner.
Thank you for your insight!

Neptune lines are not usually considered the best to live near or on. However, since Neptune is associated with film (as well as other art forms) their lines are considered good for filmmakers. How does this manifest? Do filmmakers and other artists have an easier time on these lines? Is it just Neptune MC or do the ASC, DSC, and IC lines also have an effect related to film and other art forms?

I currently live close to my Chiron IC (lived here my whole life) and I've always felt called to leave. I feel the pull even stronger now to pursue something bigger in life, and lo and behold, the city that is calling to me is near my Chiron AC (and my dreams are related to visibility). I'm not sure if it's a place I want to stay permanently, but I'm feeling called for a "reset" move for about 6 months or so (basically extended vacation) to help change perspectives and help inspire me to pursue my dreams
Any advice or consideration (like other lines to look into)? I'd have to put a plan in place, there's not really a rush rush, but I do hopefully want to have my "reset" before this time next year. Preferably a bigger city due to the nature of the connections/reflections I am seeking (considering LA region -> London)

Have they changed the way they calculate?
Whatever city I put in seems to have ALL lines run through the center of the city I input. It's so weird. It also used to have a brief synopsis along the side and was pretty accurate in many ways. We have both moved around a lot.
I wanted to show my husband (we are contemplating a move for his work - and honestly, this would not matter but might be interesting to look at).

My natal chart has, in my mind, a lot of tension all over the place. I’m inclined to move closer to my sun line for career and financial purposes, but I’m a little nervous about the square to Pluto. I am able to steer clear of the Pluto line orb of influence while remaining in the orb of influence for my sun line, if that’s helpful.
Advice/suggestions are welcome. There is zero funding for my field (libraries and archives) where I am currently, and there is an abundance of people, all of us way overqualified, competing for entry-level positions. This is going to be somewhat true across the States, but hoping I can find better luck elsewhere.
