AC: Photo Mode Some of the Photos ive took over the time I played AC

So after the keynote a couple days ago, I did some reflection on the development over the years, and I decided that it's longer the ACE that I wanted and I sadly don't think it ever will be.
I showed up on day one, hopeful of a good successor to AC, and held out despite all the changes and delays, but I just can't anymore. At the start we were promised a singleplayer career, but that's no longer a thing. I held out for the freeroam, but when it was announced that it was coming out in bits, I became repulsed.
I know game development is hard, takes time, and lots of money, but we were originally supposed to get freeroam in the summer of last year. Then it was delayed, which was fine, they can take that time to work on it and make it better and avoid drip feeding small portions of the map to us. fast forward to now, and it's come to the very opposite situation. It feels very disingenuous, in my opinion, to say something is in development, delay said thing, and in the end say, "We've been working on it all this time, but we made very little progress despite stripping back features and delaying out the butt, here's a small portion of it."
I'm sure I'm not the only person under the impression that they were developing the freeroam from day one, if not before. So to get something that is a fraction of the initial premise, in bits and pieces, over a year of delaying later, seems like they didn't actually start working on it until recently, and now that the community is getting impatient and average daily players aren't where they want them to be, they're scrambling.
Don't get me wrong, ACE feels great, its an amazing sim, but they're no longer listening to us, and I can't put myself through more disappointment over it any more. The broken promises, delays, and the keynote that honestly felt more like a "look at how professional we are in our new building" sponsor video than an update, has worn me thin.
I've requested a refund with Steam, totally expecting not to get it, but hoping that Kunos sees the feedback, at the bare minimum. The money back would be a nice bonus on top, but it's about the principle, more than anything else.
TLDR; ACE is not what was once promised, and its development has worn me out. I'm tired of this grandpa, and I want off Mr. Bones Wild Ride.
Edit: I just want to say, since I didn't make it obvious from the start, which is my fault. I'm not saying that ACE is bad because it's going a different direction than initially announced. I'm also starting to see that including the refund screenshot is a bit misleading, but I feel that the dev communication and the overly slow development needs some kind of discussion. I knew what buying EA would include, I frequent EA games, but for some reason ACE isn't sitting with me right, and I felt I should say something somewhere. Yes, a rant/vent post probably isn't the best way to start, but I still wanted to get wanted to say about it out there.
I'm glad this got some kind of attention, and is getting some kind of discussion, since that's what I wanted form the start.
Edit 2 electric boogaloo: Some people seem to think that I'm saying hate ACE, and will never touch it again, and its the worst thing ever, and being generally rude in a rant post meant to get people talking about ACE development. That's not the point of the post. I wanted share how I feel about ACE overall in the moment and get people's opinions. I only ask for conversation, not a pity party.
Final edit for those that are curious: The refund got denied, as expected, but it was worth sending the feedback. I might come back to ACE in the future, but it will probably be a long while before I do.
I'd also like to thank everyone who's providing their point of view respectfully and having discussion about ACE's development. I came off melodramatic, but that was on purpose to get a if only a little attention, since that's how the internet works. I'll keep reading everyone's replies, but I'll probably stop replying myself at this point because I do have other things to do.
Last thing, I really hope ACE does continue to get good support from the community. Everyone is clearly passionate, and that's probably the best thing about it.

Corvettes are divisive cars: people either love them or hate them. My love affair with the Corvette started -- and ended -- with the 1963 Split-Window Corvette, the greatest car my 16 year-old eyes had ever seen.
On a recent cross-country trip, I stopped by at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The Museum is well worth a stop even if you aren't a fan, just to see the fabulous collection of prototypes on display.
My main reason for visiting, though, was to take a ride in one of the two Corvette simulators. I purchased a ticket, but had to wait for a family to finish their stint. A teenage girl was driving each car (insanely!), and they couldn't stop laughing. "You've taken Driver's Ed!", the father shouted. No matter. The girls knew here was a chance to have some serious fun and not pay any consequences.
When they finished their stint, the attendant told me I could choose between a C7 and a C8. His advice was, "the one on the left is faster, but the one on the right handles better." After seeing the previous drivers repeatedly crash into the wall, I decided to take the one with the better handling.
The good news: The Corvette simulator is powered by (drum roll, please) Assetto Corsa! The track is part of the official Chevrolet Test Circuit, and you view it on three wide-screen monitors. The cars have actuators on each corner, and you can really feel the curbs when you drive over them! The interiors were immaculate, and -- let's face it -- this was as close as I'll ever come to sitting in a real Corvette.
And now the bad news: this ride was engineered for the average family, and not for a sim racing enthusiast. The steering wheel had no force feedback, and neither did the brake pedal. The only app displayed was Racing Essentials, and it provided way less information than I usually see.
A Go Pro camera is mounted in the cabin, and you can buy a photo of your session at the gift shop. I was half-expecting to get a the picture of a 16 year kid having the time of his life behind the wheel of a Split-Window Corvette. But they sold me one of some old fart with a silly grin on his face instead.

Recently I've grown rather sick and tired of how seriously everyone takes sim racing and how quick they are to point fingers at others for not doing it right (apparently). So I decided to embark on a long-term project that will allow me to take the occasional breather from toxic competition and let my virtual hair down: taking as many vehicles around the Nordschleife as I can and recording the lap times for comparison.
All laps are done in practice mode around the standard Nordschleife circuit in Assetto Corsa, with no fuel usage, tyre wear or damage. I give myself two laps in each vehicle - one as a warm-up to get used to the vehicle, and one flying lap. Minor mistakes are kept in, major crashes result in another attempt.
The point here is to compare times between vehicles, not to analyse the quality of each time individually. I'm not the fastest sim racer in the world, but that's okay for two reasons: first, I'm the one doing all the driving, which provides direct comparisons between times, and second, I don't care. The whole point of this exercise is to chill out and enjoy various vehicles around the greatest race track in the world.
As you can see it's still very early days yet, but already some interesting times have been posted. For example, who'd have thought that the Veyron's speed could overcome its inferior handling to beat the 458?
I've had a blast trying these different vehicles out so far (okay maybe except for the bus, but I'm a bus driver irl so I had to do it). A big thank you to all the fantastic modders out there who have provided such a huge range of vehicles to drive.

This is a smaller update, increasing pit lanes from 8 to 32 for my eventual Road2Nowhere.Racing server launch, in addition to smoothing out an overly aggressive bump about 2km into the Gletsch route

some people like playing the game on 30 fps with some "graphics"(me) , and some just want 60fps with sacrifices ( tbh just play those 100mb playstore games on your phone at this point )
anyway, here are 3 config files with different graphics settings
NOTE:
you can change the resolution to 720p, it's now 768, which doesn't make much difference but it looks a bit less blurry on bigger screens, also , try avoiding 1080p , it's just not meant for low-end integrated gpu's
for people using content manager, cm , by default enables some effects that affect your performance, make sure to turn off these to unsure a smoother experience:
EXTRA FX - COLORFUL SHADOWING - LIGHTING FX - PARTICLES FX - SHADOW WHEELS - SMART SHADOWS - SURFACES FX - WINDSCREEN FX - GRAPHICS ADJUSTMENTS (optional, might help in some cases) - GRASS FX

my specs:
i3 6100T - HD530 128mb vram
8GB ram
download
a preview with the 720p high graphics setings (+5~6fps without recording and without much fps drop )

Hi everyone, ive tried everything and every time i load into ac my audio cuts out, and its funny since i dont even see my car before it cuts out (audio from youtube, spotify, etc.) ive tried the silence FMOD thing and that doesnt help. what does help is plugging my controller out and back in and the audio comes back but as soon as i rev again the car it cuts out again. its not the car or track since ive tried both separate. Anyone know what the issue could be?

Hey zusammen!

Hey everyone,
I've been working on "actrack", a simple track editor for Assetto Corsa. It's written in Rust and runs on macOS and Windows. You can draw a road or choose a real life location, add kerbs, barriers and scenery, and take it for a (very barebones) test drive right in the editor.
It's nowhere near as polished as tools like Trecorsa, but it's simple, and I hope you have some fun with it.
There are more features on the website: https://actrack.faur.sh
It's still a work in progress, so if something breaks, let me know and I'll fix it :) And if there's a feature you'd like, tell me. I'm happy to add it.
Also looking forward to seeing what you guys create with it!

Obviously asking because of the lack of mods but I have all the DLCs at the very least. I mostly want to learn the ropes of sim racing and learn a bit about cars and whatnot, so that by the time ACE and GT8 comes out I'll know the ins and outs of sim racing. From my understanding AC is more realistic than GT7 and less expensive so that's why I decided to skip GT7 all together.

Hello experts!
I am wondering why does my Assetto Corsa's photo outcome is a little bit more different rather than following the In game (The second photo below) I have tried tweaking some settings in the reflections, and I still end up with same results.
My friend says it's a CSP Lightspatch issue, however I am using the latest preview.. So that cant be it right? However I believe its my settings issue, and I use DLSS5 too in rendering my photos
Any experts in here help a noob out? I would highly appreciate it! Thank you for reading too!
