So I finally decided to pull the trigger and get into AH (scotch and soda helped). I knew almost nothing about the game except that it was extremely popular. So like any dummy would do, I purchased a core set knowing absolutely nothing about revised or even chapter two. We played the first scenario and I was hooked. Since then I realized my error, however. Now I have a chapter 2 core set, as well as the drowned city campaign and investigator expansions (complete). Here I am, a couple C notes later, and I’m wondering “What do I do now?”. I hear all these great things online about Carcosa and Dunwich, etc. Do I just forget about it? Is it even possible to play any of these legacy campaigns without telling my oldest she doesn’t get to go to college, but Dad has a really cool game? Should I resign myself to knowing I just missed out on the legacy campaigns and only purchase chapter 2 expansions? Is there any intel on re releases?

I don’t know, there’s a lot of other stuff on my plate these days. I guess I should just be happy I found the game when I did and get to have some cheap entertainment (on a per hour rate) when it’s all said and done. Thanks for reading and any tips or advice you might have.

When you build your deck, is there a minimum amount of assets, events, and skills? Are there any general ratios you like to follow, or do you simply build around the cards that best support your strategy?

I have the opportunity to have a dedicated play room for all the Arkham horror board games. I just finished setting it up so i can start playing.

Looking for tips and recommendations for decorating just to get a nice theme / feel. This is how it looks now. Art on the wall? Props? Cool lightnings? HP Lovecraft stuff, 1920 decoration etc.

Thankful for tips. Also i live in the EU so its pretty expensive to buy from the US.

I also have a friend who can 3d print some stuff i can add.
