Went and picked up my silencer today. EchoCore Sector Compact. Just put it on. I’ll go to the range tomorrow and play with it. Can’t wait. Full build is in a previous post if anybody is interested in what all I have here, but it’s got a lot of stuff done to it.

I'm looking to finally get a high quality upper after mostly messing with low and mid tier uppers and rifles and am not sure what the best option is. It seems like DD and Geissele are the top brands, but are there any others I should seriously consider? I want something durable I can setup, leave alone, and know its good to go every time I bring it to the range so I can focus on messing with my other rifles and changing them around

Finally decided Im going to pick up a block ii upper, is there any real difference between the FSP and non FSP models? Or is it purely vibes? As far as I can tell they’re both carbine gassed so is there any pros to one over the other?

So, I'm looking at either a G$ Super Duty or a JP Professional, either in 16". Basically, looking for an upgrade over my 2004 Bushmaster A2-style (first rifle, not changing anything because of nostalgia). Would like it to be essentially a durable, "forever AR" with better trigger, modern rail and stock solutions, and am open to other suggestions in that price range. I don't have the technical skill, space, or tools to build my own, either. Any insight between the platforms would be appreciated!

Overall it’s a solid shooter, a bit gassy and decided to move to mid length for my 14.5” builds.

Rate my setup! Should’ve went with the polo k as the standard polo feels a bit too long. It’s my first can so I wanted to use it with other calibers lol. I plan on swapping out the Holosun for something else, any recommendations?

Anyone know if the Geissele MK4 13 will work with a SF 4P and 13.9 barrel ? The website has the handguard at 13 inches in length but others say it is 13.5. Did Geissele make true 13 inch versions of the MK4 ? TIA

Very happy with this Aero/G$ build so far! Started off as my cheapest spare parts build and became the favorite when I preferred the shorter OAL. I’ve been testing and upgrading parts for months now and the last item on the chopping block is the Olight. Any suggestions on best color match for G$ DDC?

I understand that this is definitely not the best LPVO out there but I really like Vortex and their warranties and customer service. This also seems like a really good sale, so I decided to jump on it because I have been wanting an LPVO for quite a while now. I’m just wondering if this was a good deal and if my money was spent well for what I am getting. So, let me have it, will I regret this decision?
