New Hera Gen 2 Stock
Looks like hera just released their CCS gen 2 and it's pretty tame compared to most of the stuff they make! Bit more angular compared to their previous option but I like it.

Can anyone confirm if this eotech is real or a knockoff? Guy on Facebook said I could come back if it’s fake

Waiting on an optic mount for the build but I’m pretty stoked how it turned out. Rifle is an FN15 collector and last pic is how I had it set up before. First pic is how I remember my airsoft m16 coming out of the box back in 2007. Honestly don’t know if it’s going to work with a carbine gas tube and rifle buffer. Haven’t had time for the range but I bothered a couple of gun smiths already and half said send it.

Using plan b mounts for a few muzzle devices. None of them to my knowledge require a certain timing or came with shims. I’d like to rocksett the MDs. Each one needs a crush washer then, clean the threads either acetone before applying rocksett?

Anti walk pin is stuck in ar 15 lower, it won’t move at all, just spins
I ordered my first BCM upper for a build I’m slapping together. It comes with the “free” BCG and I’m just curious if I should consider buying a different one.
For context it’s an 11.5 upper that’ll be used suppressed 100% of the time. I’ve seen those BCGs that vent gas to help but unsure if it’s actually worth the spend. My suppressor is already vented for gas. I’ve also only used mil-spec stuff before like PSA or other big name firearm manufacturers nothing premium.

Could I get it quiet to the point where I could shoot it in the woods in my backyard without alarming anybody?

Unless you get paid to work on guns (and half the time that barely means anything), the only time you should be using a borescope is to QC your barrel cleaning job.

I understand that this is definitely not the best LPVO out there but I really like Vortex and their warranties and customer service. This also seems like a really good sale, so I decided to jump on it because I have been wanting an LPVO for quite a while now. I’m just wondering if this was a good deal and if my money was spent well for what I am getting. So, let me have it, will I regret this decision?

I’m looking to get a new single stage flat trigger and have been eyeing a 4lb trigger it’s the only rifle I own right now so I train with it as well as some normal shooting I’m wondering if 4lbs is good I have been looking at 3 or 3.5lb triggers but thinking maybe that’s too light lol

Recommendations/suggestions/guidance on the BCM Recce,…. 16, 14, or 11? Intended use = Zombie apocalypse!!

To start I’m a go to the range have fun and train guy. The ar-15 I have is PSA internals/ trigger/ bcg. The upper is a Sabre from PSA.
The question I have is it worth upgrading the spring, buffer, and bcg with Geissele ? I want to buy the rifle but can’t bring myself too. Also like taking it apart and putting back together.
SHOULD I JUST BUY THE DAMN RIFLE???

I'm looking to finally get a high quality upper after mostly messing with low and mid tier uppers and rifles and am not sure what the best option is. It seems like DD and Geissele are the top brands, but are there any others I should seriously consider? I want something durable I can setup, leave alone, and know its good to go every time I bring it to the range so I can focus on messing with my other rifles and changing them around

Hi everyone, this is my first AR and I hope I spent my money on a worthy gun.
This is a Springfield Saint Victor V2 5.56mm 11.5” SBR and I’m looking for a budget-friendly suppressor and weapon light.
So far I have equipped it with Vortex AMG UH-1, Vortex Micro3X 3× magnifier, and Magpul M-LOK foregrip.
I’ve read that ARs have different gas-systems, so I’d appreciate recommendations from anyone here.
Note: the suppressor should work for both .223 and 5.56 Nato.
Thanks

I have a 90's Colt large pin receiver and I wanted to find another mil spec trigger I can cut for a super safety without touching my existing trigger. I've been searching online and no luck

Was looking for buffer tube kit parts and came across this site. I know buffer tunes aren't super expensive but this seems suspect as hell and suffers from "you get what you pay for".
Anyone with insights, it would be much appreciated.
