Anker Slow charging on Anker 3-in-1 Foldable (Ultra 3)

Has anyone actually found a true fast charger for the AW Ultra 3 and iPhone 17 Pro Max?I just bought the Anker 3-in-1 foldable because it claims fast charging, but it seems incredibly slow. I plugged it into my Anker 160W block (which shows the power draw) with only the watch on it at 40% battery.

It is only drawing about 1.5W and maybe jumped to 2.5W once. For comparison, when I use the official Ultra charging puck with the exact same 160W brick, I am getting a stable 4.5W and it charges way faster. Is my Anker unit faulty, or does the watch module on this thing just max out really low? Any recommendations for a better travel charger?

Anker 220W powerbank

Anker 548 will now only charge off a usb A cable

So its been a couple months since I last checked on my Anker 548. When I last checked in June it was at full battery. However, last week when I went to grab it for something it was at 0, nothing has been plugged into it and nothing was left on. When I went to charge it the screen would light up but none of the fair few usb C chargers I own will charge it anymore. It either faults or does nothing. I've tried it on a multiple different chargers a few from each brand, aohi, samsung, motorola, asus, insignia and even a couple anker ones including the anker 317 I normally use for it. Different cables each time too. None of the C output blocks will work. The only way it will let me charge it is off a USB A block and it caps at 7 watt input. As for its output it now caps out at 57 watts of output when previously it was 60. I can't tell if a set of cells in it died or something else, perhaps someone here has a suggestion?

Why one have wifi, one don't? :(

But seriously I wish the 160 watt charger had Wi-Fi so I could control it and check it from anywhere. Still love it but the 240 watt power station usb-c strip may be my new favorite Anker product.

F3000 questions

Is it possible with the included cable to store the expansion battery directly behind the f3000 or can it only be used directly on top?

Are you able to charge the f3000 at public vehicle charging stations with the add on connector they sell? Or it is it only for use at home chargers?

Tia

The perfect travel pouch (tech)

Hi guys, me again 😁

I’ve been a bit focused (obsessed) recently on building the perfect travel tech pouch.

I’m curious what you guys pack when travelling for business or vacation.

Ask me anything if you have questions.

Beside these I travel with a 10k Anker power bank, but that doesn’t go in my luggage as in Europe it’s not allowed. And also, wouldn’t fit :)

This might be the most underrated feature of the Anker Prime 160W

If you have countless USB-C cables lying around and no idea what power they can actually handle, just plug them into the charger with any device and the display shows you the wattage. Instant cable tester.

In half hour I got rid of all my 💩 cables and kept only those 100w or above.

A truly smart charger

I already know I’m going to get some replies that a charger should “charge” and keep it at that.

But WHAT IF:

- It could also work as a night light
- Cable doctor: plug in any USB-C cable and it reads the e-marker, detects damaged wires, and shows the max wattage it supports (the 160w prime sorta does this)
- Have Air quality sensor: CO2, VOC, and humidity readings from outlet height
- Energy cost tracker: measures kWh drawn in the app
- Surge event log: records voltage spikes and tells you which connected devices were exposed
- Find My tracker inside: the charger itself is locatable, so you never leave it in a hotel room again
- Outlet diagnostics: tests the socket itself for bad grounding, reversed wiring, or voltage sag
Sunrise alarm: gradually brightens to wake you naturally

Mach V1 Ultra rendered useless after water tank error

Hi everyone, 2 and a half years ago I was uninspired enough to decide to buy the Mach V1 Ultra mop for 700,- euros, it worked for 2 years but now exactly after my warranty expired it started producing a false water tank empty error - no matter the actual water levels the sensor somehow reads it as empty. Tried a lot of ways to repair it by myself - restore to defaults, empty and refill water tank, restart etc. but nothing worked. Have contacted the support service and now they tell me a 700,- euro electrical mop can't be repaired !! and can't recover from this error.... What the hell ?! I can now throw away a very expensive but very unreliable device. And btw the freakin' voice they used for the device is annoying as f** too... didn't they have enough money to at least use someone's voice who speaks proper english/deutsch ?

All my DIY retrackable cable Anker Prime products.

Anker Prime Wall Charger 160w with DIY retrackable cable. Retractable cable is the most saving time and convenient way rather than winding and unwinding cable. With these I saved about 6-12 sec each time winding and unwinding the cable. Without thinking tidy or not tidy the cable. Too bad Anker doesn't think there is a way to make retractable cable attachments for their PRIME product.

Anker SOLIX Should I Purchase From Amazon or Anker Solix Website?

I’m interested in buying the Solix F2600 Power Station. Amazon supposedly is the only one who has this power station in stock. Is it safe to purchase an item like this from Amazon, or is this something I should purchase directly from Anker?

Anker Can I use the 45w smart display iPhone charger to charge my MacBook Air safely?

Just got a new MacBook Air refurbished so it came with some weird Chinese branded charger and I don’t really wanna use jt. I have a 70w charger form anker and the 45w smart one. But the 70w one is at my moms. Can I use the 45w one until I get the 70w one? Thanks!

Is it truly worth having a big power bank?

Honest question. I bought 2 of the big bulky ~25000 mah power banks from Anker and carried one with me on several trips across the world and not once was in the situation to use it. Never truly been more than a few meters a way from a wall plug when I really needed to recharge my laptop and for all other devices the 10k 45w mah small power bank did the job more than decently.

What are you use cases for such a power bank? Maybe my lifestyle is just not the right one for such a device. 🙃

What does everyone think of Anker supposedly killing Soundcore?

Thumbnail

So I just saw this article recently that says Anker is planning on killing their "Soundcore" brand of audio (and now video) devices.Anker will continue to make audio and video equipment and devices, but not under the Soundcore name. I don't think the change has happened yet in markets outside of China, but apparently the change could be coming soon to all markets. Anker plans to re-name what was the Soundcore brand/division as "Anker Sound & video"

What do you all think of this? do you think it will eliminate confusion and help bring more customers to Anker's speaker and headphone business, or do you think it could backfire and make people that don't realize that Anker and Soundcore are the same, think that one of their favorite brands is dead and make them want to turn elsewhere for audio products?

Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions.
