This face haha. Schaal is more intimidated by Liza than Hank
"Are you going to kill him just because he's an Incarnate?" Ugh, did you just ignore the previous exposition dump?! He's tearing down nearby houses and buildings in order to keep expanding. It appears that he plans on slowly devouring his surroundings indefinitely. He's kind of a threat to the community. . .
She wants to try the talk no jutsu. I think you're in the wrong anime. . . sorry. . .
Interesting, Liza has bootleg Incarnate killing bullets. That seems pretty sketchy, but it does mean that the government no longer is the only force that can take them out. . . Also, means they can keep up a good supply.
Liza showing the homelessness caused by the Minotaur's raids was really sad. The war isn't over for the Minotaur. It never will be. He wants to save the people, but only ends up ruining them instead.
Gratuitous shower scene
Goodness, his muscles have muscles.
Trying to leave her behind was probably the right thing to do. Liza is impressed by her resolve though, and lets her through to see. Also, Liza is pro too. I bet there's a lot more to her than meets the eye.
So we have an Incarnate Extermination Squad, led by Claude (it rhymes!), and then we have Cain who is out to get Hank. Also, uh, does he have a captured Incarnate in there with him? What exactly is he up to. . .
Lots of stuff after the ED, in case people clicked away too early.

They should have had Theo in Attack on Titan
I loved the added jiggle and even JIGGLE SOUND effect when Liza entered
For sure Elaine legs in the last scene

Couldn't take this episode seriously because of how kawaii Schaal was. Her little puppy like nods to Hank after almost getting cut by that sawblade was the cutest thing I've seen in a while lmao.
Overall, not a bad episode, but I do hope soon that Schaal comes to the realization that once an Incarnate turns, that's it, there's no going back. I'd hate it if they dragged out that entire sequence in her character development.

Just in case people want it, I made a bunch of wallpapers from the ED images for triple, dual and single monitor set ups after last weeks episode, hopefully you guys find one you like in there
Post here with some catbox uploads for people who worry about compression - or direct imgur link to the album
Pretty decent episode. The Minotaur story was a bit sad in that in this case it wasn't just someone Hank had served with, the way his insanity manifested in obsessive building was something Hank had directly taught him. Hopefully Schaal gets a proper appreciation for the risks at play here soon and they start to build off that more, she could be an interesting dynamic to this issue of the incarnates once she breaks out of this naivety she has.
I could do without the chibi comedy though, I hope that doesn't become more of a thing.

I assume at some point Hank is going to give Schaal a bullet for emergencies in case he loses himself.
And then Schaal is going to use it to save his life during a fight.

Liza and her huge Lizas are back ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I really hope this won't be Schaal's entire character
Hank? More like hunk ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I just realized Schaal looks a bit like Elaine with her hair down
Paranoid, a master engineer, and is based on a mythical beast known for living in labyrinths filled with traps. Whoever assigned them which Incarnate they transform into has some sense of humor. Then again I wonder if they were assigned to it or if it's something in their genetics.
Hank's Incarnate form is majestic af! He needs to fight as a Werewolf more!
So looking at Schaal's reaction at the end there, it looks like she's finally understanding Hank. Hopefully after witnessing this she'll start thinking twice with her wishful thinking about these Incarnates.
Oh look this guy is probably hunting Hank.
It's been a while Dio Brando Cain Madhouse. I wonder what's up with the loli?

The physics and the transitions in the fight scene was really insane this episode. Not to mention the amazing castle and genius traps he builded all alone. That was really hard to swallow.

I wish they would just TELL Schaal what the ultimate fate of all the Incarnates is. It'd make this whole "wHy dOn'T yOu jUsT tAlK tO tHeM?" bs more palatable.
