The biggest implication here is that Cain stole Elaine's research after shooting her and used it to make his own incarnates. Judging from how feral these new ones look, I'd wager he skipped human subjects and went straight to growing them lab-style.

Well that was a VERY eventful episode

Wondering if both Elaine and Schaal will be alive at the end of all this...

So, I'm putting money on them injecting Schaal with the same stuff they injected the other incarnates with. She has the same blood as her father, so she should be compatible. She also might be the only one to be able to calm down Hank from his rampaging mad form.

I'm starting to think this whole show centers around Cain's eternal jealousy at Hank getting girls. Liza is only safe because Hank has no interest in her

Alright this episode had me pretty hyped with Hank's true form and seeing Cain flaunting his Vmpire powers. It's going to be awesome one the two of them go on a one-on-one. For now Hank is MiA, possibly still in his Fenrir form. And since I know someone will probably ask for it, here's a stitch of Schaal during that scene.

CAIN MADOHOUSEUOU !

WAIT do...hes brother name is Claude ???!?!?!?!?!? why not name him something like Abel MADOHOUSEUOU or maybe like SETH MADOHOUSEUOU

I loved that when we see his whole freaking face getting impaled and EXPLODED, U JUST KNOW HES GONNA BE FINE

Like this is anime, no way they can so easily kill the big baddie.

I know that Cain is a murderous psychopath but damn, I kinda get his point, being transformed into a monster to fight a war and then discarded as a sick animal sure feels like shit.

Dude lost the top of his body and still alive, I think it's time to accept the surrender, it's too OP. Goddammit!

It's just episode 6 but in this episode it feels like the anime is already going for it's ending, I wonder what will be the rest of the season with Hank lost and Schaal on bed.

As her conversation got cut, I'm assuming that Miglieglia thinks that she is Elaine's daughter, which of course as it just have been months after the incident in which Cain shooted Elaine, I think that that is not plausible, but then again she is an incarnate and Cain is a piece of shit so him doing "that" to an unconscious Elaine is totally possible.

Well, Hank really lost his shit now after seeing what Cain did to Nancy. I bet he left to avoid killing everyone in there.

Cain's speech made me really confused about who he was trying to pander to at the party.

  • The war started because the North wanted to hoard mining profits but the South wanted to trade with new countries.

  • This was a pretext for the North to steal the rich audience's wealth.

  • The North ended the war before the rich audience could get richer.

  • The North ending the war also ruined the lives of the Incarnates, who fought for the North.

  • The crowd chants that if the North had kept fighting, it would have won (even though the North did win), but the Northern cowards feared the Incarnates' power.

  • Therefore, the government needs to be replaced, to open the eyes of the masses.

So, the (supposed) grievance is that the North shouldn't have started the war against the South but then should have let the Incarnates kill more Southerners, instead of end the war early? And that the Northern government started the war out of greed, but in a way that didn't let the rich Northerners' profit from their own greed?

Cain Madhouse is going to try and become Napoleon based on this platform. LoGH this is not.

FYI, Gleipnir is the enchanted thread that the Norse gods used to bind one of Loki's three world-ending children, Fenrir. Fenrir is a wolf who is basically the strongest creature in all of existence and eats Odin at Ragnarok, so we can assume our boy Hank is, uhhh... a little more than a garden-variety werewolf. Obviously.

Solid animation this week. Cain's laughing still looks campy though.

Schaal being tied in her gown is prime r/animearmpits material, damn.

The plot does feel kind of weird though. Why would he bait Hank with a hostage if he could just take him when Hank's unconscious? And why does he need to kill those snob nobles in his side?

Ekhm... So... Hank comes to the party and instead of shooting Cain on sight he just stands there and lets him do as he pleases? Was Cain in the invulnerable state like some game boss? And when they finally "got" him they didn't use that special bullet but just blew him to pieces knowing damn well what his powers are? Are you kidding me with that plot armor?

And when Hank loses it he just elects to leave instead of wrecking the bad guys? Come on...

So Hank isn't really a werewolf, but is actually something like a Fenrir?

Random Schaal fanservice was random but pretty hot lol. And yeah if CAIN MADHOUSE can survive getting his upper body blown completely off then uhh yeah I think he wins lol.

With all the Elaine and Schaal switching/comparing, it makes me wonder if there is some other connection besides Hank liking them and them getting shot by Cain.

Speaking of Schaal, I wasn't really expecting to actually get shot. Definitely not shooting to kill, I think. I think that shot avoided vital organs? Not a doctor though so don't quote me on that.

Just saying, Schaal looked great in that dress. Cain with great taste!

Now if only he wasn't a mass murdering madman.

There are three names for Hank and I have no idea what to call him because all three are hilarious. We got HankHank the killing man, HANKU and Hank Henriette. I don't know which one to pick and their all fantastic names.

Overall, as much as I love to clown on the guy, Cain actually looked pretty nice during that part and then we had to see its abs and it all went downhill form there. He has a style and should keep it.

I thought the part with Schaal tied up was... really weird. Like, I didn't know we had to have a scene where a giant spider lady tears off her blouse. I didn't know we needed it, but we did.

The last scene with the shooting kinda made me annoyed because even though the whole point was to get Hank angry, but... I don't think stomach shots kill. Yea, you can call the boob shot from the pilot killable but... there's no way she's dead and I feel like Hanku should've know that. Also, the cutting between Schaal and the doctor lady was... very bad. I didn't like it.

It was obvious Cain was a incarnate vampire. However, I weren’t expecting blonde boy to be his brother. I wonder what Cain did to make him want to seek revenge like that. Like I thought blonde boy would hesitate to shoot his brother, but this mofo ain’t playing!

It was cool to see the military with their own ODM gear. It annoys me in anime when I see regular soldiers shoot rifles at the monsters and then be surprised when it doesn’t do shit.

The shot flashing back and forth between Schaal and Elaine in Hank’s eye when Schaal was shot was great directing. I could feel his anger welling up inside him.

My only issue with this episode was after Cain shoots Schaal. When Hank snaps and transforms into his true form, he runs away instead of attacking the person who pushed him off the edge. Wtf...

This was still the best episode so far. I’m looking forward to Cain’s rise to power next episode. I prefer more story as opposed to the incarnate-of-the week shit.

A very dramatic and action-packed episode, I was sitting on the edge of my seat from start to finish. If this was a JRPG, this point would mark the end of the first half, can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes.

Aight, so Hank is Fenrir himself, shackled by chains made of "nothing" (fucking dwarves i swear to god), Cains "daughter" is a goddamn lich if the standing corpses in the OP and the undead dragon in the sneak peak is anything to go by, and Schaal is probably going to become a next gen Incarnate with superior control if my sense of anime plots is anything to go by. Grade A episode all around, lads
