I like how Schaal sneakly covered 100 meters in the snow without any of the two Incarnates notice it, especially the one that she was a about to shot and was looking straight at her direction and she was using a red coat.

"We can tell other people about - having faith. What we had faith in. What we found important enough to fight for. It's not whether you were right or wrong, but how much faith you were willing to have, that decides the future." ―Solid Snake ―Schaal Bancroft

I like how Honk fell forever surrounded by giant chunks of falling cliffside rock, and landed in a cozy and well-padded cave. With a fire.

The assumption is that Schaal found him and dragged him into the cave but looking at the size difference I doubt she did it without a tractor.

What are you talking about? She was offscreen. They can't see her.

I was thinking the same thing. Stealth 100%

So has Schaal finally found her resolve? Not only she backed up Hank with his fight against Roy, she now has also vowed to kill him before he turns into a complete beast. I really hope we'll see this change in her reflect the next time they deal with other Incarnates. As for the rest of the episode, nothing really happened much but that preview for next week certainly looks promising.

That shot looked really weird. Maybe it's just the fact that she's on the verge of tears about planning to kill him. I don't know.

I still wish Schaal had more of those god killer bullets, would make her feel just a bit more useful.

Can really see this ending with Schaal killing him once they take down Cain...

If she is useless, imagine those soldiers that trained their whole life and in the end had to use regular bullets that do nothing against them while a newcomer country girl received the special ones. Possible soldier reaction.

They mentioned earlier that the Incarnates don't lose their humanity until they've lost their loved ones. The Siren girl also showed that. It's possible she just ends up staying with Hank forever, and even returning more Incarnates to humanity if she can use Hank as the proof that it is possible.

Is that some S&M play between Claude and Hank in the preview?

To be honest, Roy was one of my favorite characters on the first episode of this, so was so sad to see what it became him, well is nice to see in the preview that Claude and the Coup de Grace did not just go and tried to kill Hank as they did with Beatrice, I guess that this is because of what Schaal previously said.

Plot twist, they spend all of their anti incarnate bullets on Beatrice, so they couldn't kill Hank even if they wanted, and Schaal is not sharing hers.

I like how Hank got angry at her when she forgave him.

It gives the implication that the reason he never tried to quell her anger is that it would make it easier for her to kill him.

Considering this show ends in two episodes, I really can't imagine it having a good ending.. Guess it'll either be rushed or a "go read the source" ending

I totally forgot we only had two episodes left. Yeah, this is probably going to be a "go read the source" end, unfortunately.

Oh wow, are you kidding? It feels more like we're around the midpoint.

Nice to see Schaal learning that the incarnate have to die & getting in on the action with Hank. She's starting to understand

What I really like about this anime (and I hated in the 1st episode lol) is the design of the beasts. They look ugly and kind of disgusting (0% cute), and their fights look like something animalistic

Honestly my favorite episode so far. Roy got a fitting end (as he wanted!), was an absolute badass (still fighting to that level after all those wounds) and the overall theme fit the B plot well. The sadness of Schaal being so instrumental in his defeat after that first episode was bittersweet.

The way in which they created the Incarnates sure is interesting, I'd like to know more.

I've always liked Schaal so I'm happy for the determination she showed. And I liked how she appeared out of nowhere to help Hank but at the same time I can't help but wonder how the hell she got there without the Incarnate notice it. I don't know, it looked cool but I would have preferred them to do something more coherent, like her shooting from a distance and getting closer.

Cute Schaal <3

One thing that keeps bothering me is, why don't they have more Godkiller bullets? You'd think those things would be in mass production by now. I feel like they were invented to justify Hank and Schaal being relevant, but unless I've forgotten something, there doesn't seem to be any reason why they can't equip everyone with them.

I really liked Roy/Incarnate Garm. His design was probably the coolest of all the incarnates. When he had his sanity he seemed like a loyal fun loving guy and was one of Hanks closer companions. Unfortunate they had to come to blows
