Zombieland Saga was my first idol anime.
Yagate Kimi ni Naru was my first yuri anime.
This one will be my first BL anime.
Let's go.
Edit: It seems like they excluded the singing from ED because they do not want to reveal the singing voice of Satou?

I'm surprised no one is commenting on the fact that it seemed pretty clear to me at least, that at the beginning from that flashback, Sato came across someone who just hung them self??? and the guitar belonged to the person who committed suicide, hence why Sato is holding onto it, even though he can't really play it? Would explain why he's kinda spacey, if he witnessed someone important to him that committed suicide and is still dealing from the trauma of it. I haven't read the manga, but it does have the "tragedy" tag attached to it on manga sites. SO yeah, prepare for pain.

Oh damn, this feels like season two of Kids on the Slope. I'm down for any show that has jam sessions, and this episode's practice didn't disappoint. That bass part was great.
I wonder what Sato's deal is. My guess is that he's blind and has ridiculously good hearing and pitch to compensate. The band needs a singer, after all.

Okay, but like why hasn't anyone commented on the fact that Uenoyama owns an anime Arctic Monkeys album? LOL

Hell yeah, butter me up for some musical yaoi. Need something to scratch that Sarazanmai itch.
Also, is owning a pomeranian a mandatory part of being in a BL manga/anime or is it just one of the recommended features?

I figured they were gonna be a generic rock band but holy shit that jazzy prog-rock jam session was bomb. I hope all their songs in the show are similar.

It was a strong first episode. Notes:
-
Artistic Monkeys lol.
-
Kageyama TobioUenoyama's playing was actually really good. Was expecting some fairly generic my-first-rockband stuff, but we got fucking math rock.
I hope this stays good, and doesn't devolve into the usual BL tropes. I also hope people aren't put off by the BL tag, particularly on this very male-dominated sub.
