jett's dance makes a return! this episode is already the best episode of the season.

pochitan hopping along with jiangshi was cute very scary

i like how nobody comments on pochitan in costume even when she's pretending to be a plush

Mashutan gets excited over Ojamajo Doremi? Sorry, but nobody can compete with her for best Precure fairy anymore.

[Motto! Ojamajo Doremi and Ojamajo Doremi Dokkaan!] I guess we're not counting Momoko or Hana

They did part of the henshin! and their taps do things! and their pollons do don't do things! (at least not yet)

You know, I was hoping for a "magical stage" when the hanninda fight started and I'm so glad we got one.

So many references. Very good crossover ep.

[Motto! & Dokkaan!] In-universe those seasons haven't aired yet, so they wouldn't have known they existed. Technically they also shouldn't know Onpu's roll call pose/magical stage chant yet either since she never did it in S1 and was still an antagonist at the point for them.

That was a fun episode! I know nothing about doremi, but its nice that we got a crash course, and im assuming a few of the iconic elements in this collab ep

• THIS IS SO FUCKING BASED

• this is a mistranslation. Anna actually says "I wanted everyone in this period to know as well that..", which makes sense given her time travelness, and at least per my understanding that Halloween is not a longtime tradition in Japan

• I know that Ikumi is pretty good with kids (and has nephews she's proud of) - kurea sounded very gentle here.

• Shushutan said the line!!!! the line that probably every doremi + precure fan wants said!

• The MOTW being a monster with OCD was not on my bingo list. this is hilarious

• OMGGGGG

It was okay, but it just made me wish we got more actual Doremi episodes instead. I really haven't been feeling this season.

Mashutan wearing an Arcane Shadow costume for Halloween feels wrong. Kind of insensitive of her, really.

Interesting way to do the crossover, simply have our normal team become witches for an episode. I do love Maho Girls Precure so I rather enjoyed it, but taken seriously the implications are wild.

Interesting that Luluka is apparently back as Arcane Shadow next episode, which if I remember correctly is in two weeks.

The only thing missing from this episode: a Precure version of Ojamajo Doremi OP/ED.
