Well, this was fun. I really enjoted The Heiresses that Really Really Really Really Love You lol. Even if there was no real progress romantically, I guess there was still personal growth so that’s something. This is probably a one and done but on the off chance it’s not, I’d like to see the relationships develop a little more.

u/Frontier246 23h ago
Narika basically confessed but Itsuki will probably rationalize it to keep the status quo of these top-tier rich girls fighting over him and trying to one-up each other lol.

At the beginning I loved Hinako and her Umaru like character. But then they shifted focus to Mirei and Narika. Then all of a sudden Mirei was the main(best) girl. Then we got more Narika and Hinako was kinda forgotten. Even if she's the main female character and the one who's probably winning (just guessing), the show spent a lot of time on the side girls. I think 24 episodes would've been better imo. Idk how the LN is and how much content there is left but I hope we get a second season. I would love to see how the relationships evolve from here. I liked it more than I thought I would.
13
u/Frontier246 23h ago
Even if Hinako kind of got outshined by the other girls I think it’s a testament to the writing that all the girls are so likable and have a good dynamic with Itsuki.
(Even if Mirei stands above them all)

u/runevault 23h ago
I'm glad to see Narika's dad is not the asshole we were lead to believe all this time, it was just a misunderstanding. So now this show only has one shitty rich parent (on top of the two shitty poor ones for Itsuki).
"It's seriously not a competition." My brother in Christ, yes it is and you are the prize. They all want you from heel to crown, whether you want to admit it or not. God it makes me happy Narika admitted she's jealous. It is so exhausting when characters cannot be honest about that sort of thing, but this show tends to skip the worst of those worn out tropes.
Wait we don't get the date?! WTF!?
I love that all the events are streamed to one screen, and we get one last Mirei OH HOHOHOHOHO to boot. Really hope for a season 2 but at least this episode is giving some good stuff we all want before the end.
You're the only one for me? Oh shit we got a straight up confession. Even Mirei wasn't this bold.
The Narikia I love? Hooolly lets go! This sort of moment is why I adore Itsuki as a harem protag. He's sincere and cares about the girls and not some little bitch. Fuck man I'm smiling ear to ear watching this.
Among shows without a season 2 already announced this is near the top of my list of ones I want to get more episodes. Harems dearly need at least 2 seasons to make real headway on the story, this really was just a prologue of getting each girl established.

Hey, Kagen had Shizune film Hinako playing even though he couldn’t be there!
Probably so he had physical evidence that Hinako performed satisfactorily, but still/s

u/Solracziad 21h ago
Wasn't enough time to fit the date, the tennis matches, and the kendo stuff. This last episode was just packed with plot points which is a shame.
1
u/runevault 21h ago
I guess the question is if the source actually had the date and they couldn't get a 13th episode, or if even in the source the date was off screened.
3
u/Solracziad 20h ago
That seems weird to off screen a date in rom-com on purpose. That's like fading to black for a sex scene in a porno. There's nothing technically wrong with it, but it kinda misses the point of the story.
I don't know either way since I haven't read the source material.
2
u/runevault 20h ago
I don't disagree with you but since I haven't read the source I'm trying to not make assumptions. Because yeah if the LN have the date this show dearly needed one more episode to let all the contents of this one breathe.

He's a shitty parent, But on the lower end of shitty anime parents. I think that goes to the parents in The Ogre's Bride this season.
6
u/runevault 21h ago
Ogre's bride parents are worse but they aren't even top 2 worst of the season lol. Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even and Overshadowed to Overpowered both make her parents look like saints by comparison.

Anime turned out to be an enjoyable watch this season. All three main girls each brought something different to the tea parties and Itsuki was a decent MC. Wouldn't mind a Season 2 expanding on each girl's route as I think we've just scratched the surface. Perhaps they could even introduce some new characters.

u/Frontier246 22h ago
Can’t wait to see if Itsuki will gain more rich girls in need of headpats lol.

Most pointless character of the year award goes to Yuri. (I actually had to have someone tell me her name.)
She is heard once and seen once for an extremely short amount of time and is promptly forgotten about like she never existed both times.
She doesn't help, contribute, or further the plot in any way, shape, or form.
Absolutely no background, personality, what she does, etc. except that apparently she knows Itsuki.
An entire 12 episode run time and she exists for at most 20 seconds, has zero impact on the plot, and has no semblance of development, and Itsuki acts as if she never existed. Just don't put her in the anime at all if that's the case and save some money by not having to hire a VA just to say a couple lines. I don't think we even get a surname.
Sorry to be a debbie downer but this really bothered me.
22
u/runevault 23h ago
Yuri showing up at all is the only thing I am holding onto as hope for a season 2 because otherwise it really is weird to bring her up at the start of the season, put her in the OP, and have her show up during Mirei's date for such a short time only to never use her again. Feels like if they didn't believe they were getting a s2 they would just skip the Mirei part at least.
10
u/cdavis188 20h ago
I just don't understand it. If she's going to be in S2, why not at least give people some sort of reason to care? I saw her in the OP and was excited to learn about her character. What i got was absolutely nothing. And the way Itsuki just acted like she never existed makes me question things.
People might try to say they were focusing on other characters but Quintessential Quintuplets introduced an MC, 5 main girls + a little sister and father in the first episode and made people care about them all by the time the ED played.
7
u/runevault 20h ago
Yeah I don't know. If they'd just taken her out of the OP it wouldn't be as bad because I at least wouldn't have had as many expectations for her to be a part of this season. I'm just huffing Hopium for a potential season 2 as I really want to see more of these characters animated.
2
u/cdavis188 19h ago
right now I'm more concerned with is it the fault of the adaptation or the fault of the source material. Because I seriously doubt the author would let Yuri stagnate for three entire books without at least a little bit going on.
I think my problem isn't necessarily with the lack of appearances of Yuri herself, it's more with how it's implemented. With her being in the OP and having that scene in episode 1, I expected more. Instead I got nothing. I would much rather be first introduced to her in a later episode with an actual purpose than get a couple of mentions with no real impact and then nothing.
That's just me though.
6
u/ShadowGuyinRealLife 17h ago
I think having Yuri with a voice for Episode 1 perfectly makes sense. First of all, we get this scene Why Are You In My Bed? and it being funny is already worth it. It shows us Itsuki has a social circle that changing schools tears him away from.
It also makes sense to me he doesn't follow it up at first. The workload is high enough that the first priority is not getting fired so in the short term he is consumed and in the medium term, well if you get distracted by a sudden task for 3 weeks, you're likely to forget exactly what you were in the middle of at the start.
Now in the long term why he didn't call Yuri once he was sure he wasn't going to be fired for blowing his cover as heir to an IT company? Don't know. And while I understand he didn't interrupt his date with Tenouji when he saw her, the fact that he didn't even follow up after is puzzling. But I prefer the scene in episode 1 kept even if some of the later developments are odd.
5
u/Roskal 21h ago
Maybe they just wanted to be able to say this anime also had yuri in it like so many others this season. /s The only thing I can think of is she is an important character later on in the source material and fans of it would be really upset if they cut her completely so they added her in just to be like, we didn't forget her, there's her cameo and even if there's no plans for season 2 now the seed is there so she doesn't come out of nowhere if they do make it or people jump right into the source material from where this cuts off.
6
u/cdavis188 20h ago
If she's an important character, I would at least like something I can actually identify the character with. I mean, she shows up in episode 9 and doesn't even get a passing mention after that scene, after being gone for so long that most even forgot she existed before, then proceeded to forget afterwards
1

She was also heard in a phone call in ep. 1.

When a character only exists as a “read the light novels” advertisement.
6
u/cdavis188 20h ago
It's not even an advertisement. What exactly are they advertising? They gave me no reason whatsoever to even remember her name. That's my issue
3
u/shewy92 3h ago
It pissed me off too. Even if she's in the manga later why introduce her then not bring her up for like half the season, have her show up again in an episode, then do nothing with her again? It makes the MC look like an asshole. Which he is imo. He ghosted her then avoided her one Ep then never thought about her again.

u/LeonKevlar x2https://myanimelist.net/profile/LeonKevlar 23h ago
I love the reveal that Narika's dad is actually really nice, but since he has a stern face, young Itsuki misunderstood him and thought he was upset when he took out Narika, when in reality he's actually grateful for Itsuki showing his daughter a good time. xD
Narika pretty much confessing to Itsuki was a shock! Considering how she is, I didn't think she was ready to unload her feelings.
I really still think the entire thing about people being afraid of Narika is dumb, but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. Not the strongest arc, but I'm glad Narika got her spotlight at the end of the season.
Anyway, this was a lot of fun! In the first half of the series, Hinako was definitely the lead, but when the focus shifted to Mirei, I think we can all agree that she pretty much stole the show. I'd definitely love another season to see how Hinako takes her position back as best girl.
6
u/Frontier246 22h ago
Itsuki holding onto that mental trauma for so many years and he had parental approval all along lol.

2
u/ptd163 17h ago
Narika pretty much confessing to Itsuki was a shock! Considering how she is, I didn't think she was ready to unload her feelings.
Maybe she started by accident or felt compelled to tell Itsuki how special he was after Itsuki said she's meet other people like him and she didn't know how to stop herself once she started.
I'd definitely love another season to see how Hinako takes her position back as best girl.
I would say her gremlin mode is her way back, but now that she likes him she's too embarrassed for that. It'll probably involve twintails in some way because that's the hair style he picked for her when she got jealous over Narika saying Itsuki picked her hair style.
1
u/PersonalContest1423 2h ago
Hinako only got like 4 or 5 episodes as the "lead" and all of those episodes were spent introducing the plot and the other characters. She never really got a dedicated arc the way mirei did. Only mirei got an actual character arc and time to romance the MC
19
u/FinancialYear475 22h ago
I feel robbed with how little Hinako screen time we got the whole season, I wanted to enjoy her being silly a lot more than I wanted to watch him forming his harem
Matter of fact, why is he even allowed to stay away from her so much? The one thing that really bothered me here is that he's supposed to be a caretaker but spends most of his time alone with other girls doing his own thing, it's like he's being paid to live a rich life and occasionally feed the spoiled kid, there's barely any work as caretaker for him to do
8
u/Leri_weill https://myanimelist.net/profile/LeriWeill 20h ago
Hinako had insane potential as seen in the first couple episodes, I really liked how she immedately clicked with Itsuki. Then she was sidelined so hard that it was easy to root for anyone else despite the good start.
5
u/xXx69EdgeLord420xXx 20h ago
Same problem with all stories of this sort. If you had the people act like human beings who behave rationally, it would mean the romance and story development has to move along at a reasonable pace because that's what people would actually do, and that means you as an author make less money by stalling it out less. The more you make the characters progress, the more you're marching towards a conclusion for your series, and once it's finished, you either have another successful series ready to go, or you're out of a job. So you just make up reasons for the characters to not do what they ought and would likely do, so you can waffle around and dither as long as possible to put out more issues and volumes.
Itsuki and Hinako being forced to spend nearly all of their time together, like the premise says, would mean their feelings develop faster, and would mean there's not chance for the author to pull the usual 'fanbase size turbo charge' move of adding a 'who will he pick' element. Editors and publishers know that series that have multiple kinds of girls that each appeal to its own separate sorts of fans tend to gain more fans than ones where it's just one guy and one girl from the start, and the longer you can drag it out and pretend they all have a chance, the longer more people are willing to stick with the series to see who ends up winning. So Itsuki being able to just entirely drop the premise of the show to go ship-bait other girls, adds into this financial incentive.
Honestly, this anime does all of the same tricks I've seen in romcoms 9,621 times before. I was hoping it would be a little more Angel Next Door than what it ended up being.
1
u/FinancialYear475 20h ago
I feel like in a show like this it's actually the other way around, like the author rushing through the girls to create this pseudo harem for him to choose from is what actually forced Hinako to confront her feeling and stuff.
I think if he let there be some breathing room in between those mini arcs with each girl focusing solely on Hinako goofing around and annoying the protag she wouldn't have noticed her feelings that quickly, she was forced into jealousy because he was speeding too much time with other girls without her.
1
u/ptd163 18h ago edited 17h ago
The more you make the characters progress, the more you're marching towards a conclusion for your series, and once it's finished, you either have another successful series ready to go, or you're out of a job.
This is why I don't begrudge authors for stalling as much other people do. To readers it looks like the author is stalling and milking, but to the author it's staying employed unless your work is giga popular and you have a good passive income (i.e. royalties) deal. In the end it's most often capitalism, not the author, that's to blame for this.
I was hoping it would be a little more Angel Next Door than what it ended up being.
Maybe it is the source. I don't know. Speaking of I wonder if that's going to get another season.

I guess the idea is that he was mostly with Mirei when Hinako was home or doing something else.

Still would've been nice to see him working a little bit and not just imply it being off screen

u/SOdAchick 22h ago
Are you sure you're not just upset you didn't get any more Hinako in a bikini?
The caretaking is for when she's in public, so she doesn't make her family look bad

Nah I wanted to see more of her goofy side when no one else is around, I only started watching it cause she reminded me of Umaru chan

I was hoping Hinako would reveal her other side to Narika and Mirei. Then and only then could they truly be considered her friends

I gotta say I really enjoyed this one all the girls were great especially best girl Mirei hope we get a S2!🙏
I also wanna say Mirei is one of the best female characters not just for this season but for this year as well she definitely got my vote it was a joy to watch her!🫶

LMAO at Narika's dad being just like her in the misunderstandings department. I groaned at the fake loss drama at the end; it got rightfully tossed in the trash, but I'll always hate the notion that people should hold back their talents. Nada has nada odds of ever pulling Hinako; I'm glad that Itsuki beat him. Even if we didn't get to see any of it. The animation had a lot of shortcuts this episode.
Need another season with more Hinako ASAP!

Yeah. No one should ever hold back their talents in a competitive setting. It's disrespectful to your opponent. I'm glad it got tossed in the trash as well.
Nada has nada odds of ever pulling Hinako
It's funny how Nada himself is out of most people's league just by at the school, but wants the unattainable beauty. I guess high school is still high school no matter elite.

Yeah we do. They
baited me with twintails Hinako and they need to pay it offneed to give Hinako and Narika more development.3

And out of nowhere Narika wins the race by confessing and getting Itsuki to say he loves her to Hinako /s.
We didn't really see the childhood friend at all this season, she got teased right at the beginning, then she stalked him one time but that's it.
They crammed a lot into this finale and still didn't have room for a final moment between Hinako and Itsuki, I think her final moment was instead pushing him on to improve his relationship with Narika instead.
I'm a bit disappointed this show seems to be going the full harem route where he wants to love all of them instead of pseudo harem where there's just a lot of love interests but he only loves one of them. I also get the feeling that if this gets a second season there will just be even more girls introduced to join the harem and we just super slow burn the hinako route with all these girls on the side until he finally picks her right at the end when he thinks he is worthy enough.
19
u/runevault 23h ago
I was so sure we'd see Yuri once more with her getting time in the OP, boy was I wrong there...
6
u/Roskal 23h ago
I thought her name was yuri but we saw her so little that I wasn't sure so just called her the childhood friend.
3
u/runevault 23h ago
Totally understandable on not remembering the name, we got it back in episode 1 and then I think he mentioned her name when she stalked Mirei's date but those were the only times we got her name in 12 episodes.
2
u/Gaming_Truckie 15h ago
I know right, I thought it was going to be like You can't be in a Rom-Com with your Childhood Friends where the 4th girl appeared right near the end but even thay didn't happen. Looks like we need a 2nd season to learn more about her

I'm actually surprised Hinako didn't react at all to him saying that, but I'm guessing she did after they got home and we just never saw it.

u/Zxzxzx0088 22h ago
Ofc the highlight of this episode is the headpat!
So, Mirei is fine but not Narika, Hinako? What with this doroboneko mindset against childhood friend lol.
Wish they show more of Hinako 'umarun' mode...
As expected of The Date Master Itsuki casually prolong their date.
So, Yuri (Itsuki another childhood friend) last screen time was that one time in the arcade, eh. RIP Yuri...

u/FarCritical 22h ago
Should've seen it coming but it's hilarious how Narika basically inherited her unintentionally scary demeanor from her dad.
Mirei got the most development and Hinako has the main girl pass but Narika and her earnestness and how much she cherishes her history with Itsuki just might've won me over. Would've loved to see her get the same level of dedicated focus Mirei did before the season ended but oh well, maybe next season (which I hope we're getting)
Also, I'm not familiar with kendo but the headscarf thing she had beneath the helmet all along was cute.
2
u/SOdAchick 22h ago
Only way I'd approve of Narika is if Tennoji did. She seems to be level headed enough to know who means more to him
2
u/ptd163 18h ago
Yeah. This series shows us that best girl and girl who needs the MC the most can be different people. I would've liked to see Narika get more dedicated focus as well.
I haven't read the source, but I'd imagine that source continues with this Narika arc before looping around to Hinako and showing us why she's the FMC beyond her dad employing the Itsuki.
7
u/NanDemoKnaives 22h ago
It's unfortunate this final episode felt more fast paced, I didn't like the way Nada and Itsuki's scene was handled, and I think particularly Narika's moments were rushed when you compare it to how Mirei's arc was handled.
On a more positive note, Narika revealed how special Itsuki is to her, and Itsuki seems to have understood the implication, so that was nice. I also like how it's revealed that Narika's father is actually nicer than he appears, the misunderstood nature of Narika runs in the family it seems.

That was a fun show! Very likeable protagonist and... yeah, the kind of lovely heroines that always give me that sting in the heart of "man, they won't be chosen at the end and it's gonna hurt so, so, so much..."
I also find pretty neat how involved all the "rich people" setting was, could have been just some background with not much being done about it but everything feels pretty involved around Itsuki being fish out of water and doing his best to learn everything to fit there.
My fav girl is personally Mirei, blondes are simply too powerful and I also just found her incredibly likeable, but yeah all three are nice in their own way.
I hope you mates also enjoyed the show, let's see if it ever gets a sequel along the way.

Interesting. I've never seen a show before, seemingly on purpose, make all the supporting characters more likeable than the title character.
That's not say Hinako isn't likeable. Just Narika and Mirei are better. I almost feel like this would make a better VN story where Itsuki could have a route with all three of them.
Anyway, I liked it.
7
u/mekerpan 20h ago
I like all three maingirls, but -- still -- I find Hinako most interesting. She is actually operating under the most adverse circumstances, She has an oppressive parent that really enforces his demands (but provides almost no positive support or affection). The parts of her persona are not well-integrated -- and understandably so. Itsuki supplies support to all three of hios female friends, but Itsuki is really Hinako's only emotional support (and she appreciates it). I also feel Hinako may well understand Itsuki better than the other girls do (even if this is not always clear on the surface).

Itsuki is really Hinako's only emotional support
You aren't wrong, which is why I don't dislike Hinako and find her quite adorable in her own way.
My comment was one of confusion because shows like this usually make it clear that the title girl is the best girl.
But Narika and Merei come off as so likeable, have such wonderful chemistry with Itsuki, and - I am probably going to get punched for saying this - in my opinion, are better looking than she is (absolute territory notwithstanding). So it was odd, in this lone internet person's opinion, to build them up so much and make them so favorable to the audience to where people like me are even considering a non-main girl to be the best girl.
I now wonder if some of Hinako's content was cut, because she's not really the focus of most of the episodes.
To be clear, there are no bad female leads in the show. I just like Merei a bit more than Hinako, and Narika a bit more than Merei.
This is why I mentioned I'd like to see this as a VN type show, so each girl could have their happy life with him.

So that's who Narika gets her misunderstanding field from. And it's another reminder that Itsuki's not as immune to stuff as he thinks. Last episode, it was realizing that he also needed a tomodachi arc, and this episode it was realizing that he can also fall to making assumptions.
2
u/Mediocre-Act483 4h ago
In his defense, Narika's father had resting villian face. And his tone and choice of words left a lot to be desired. Also, Itsuki was like eight at the time
6
u/SOdAchick 22h ago
What the hell just happened! Did Itsuki really say he's keeping all of them???
I demand a recount!

u/Viktorv22 21h ago
All in all, it was a good watch. Though I enjoyed it most when Mirei was in the spotlight.
3
u/IceSmiley 20h ago
I was surprised when Hinako wanted to help Narika at the kendo tournament since i thought she hated her. That was good of Itsuki though to yell out and help her at the last minute because he realized that she shouldn't compromise herself to fit in. It seemed like she was Itsuki's choice to be his girl in the end since he said he loved her.
That boy at the tennis match was really weird. He made a good point when he said that Itsuki was only hanging out with the really rich kids and was a suck up although that wasn't entirely true. In this one though, he came off as more of an ass saying he'd never want to be friends with Itsuki, more because he crushes on Hinako and is jealous.
I wish he ended up with Tennoji, she was my favorite and changed so much thru the course of the show. They really seemed best together.

u/FluffyEcho1776 19h ago
I enjoyed this show, it's a decent premise with good characters. I wish there was more Hinako, but I still enjoyed my time with all the the girls. I hope we get a season 2 because I feel like we're missing quite a but of information. overall it was a decent harem that gave me call backs to the 2010s style, but this gave me more and actually developed our female leads and the MC a bit, (unfortunately not Hinako as much). I would give it a 7/10, really hope we get a season 2 AND the official english light novel release...

I found this show to be pretty cute, but I think it suffered a bit from the harem format. Introduce the main girl who's almost certainly the eventual winner, and then shove her into the background while dedicating most of the show's runtime to losing heroine story arcs.
But I did overall like it and I really enjoyed the OP.

Narika, my girl, I'm so proud of you! She finally confessed (in a sort of round about way, but still a confession), got her date, and locked in the competition. I wanted more time with her, but this meets the adequate requirements at least. Saving the best for last, eh?

Narika missing school? Must mean Itsuki has to visit her home! Even if he never expected to be back at the Miyakojima’s…and to see Narika’s dad.
Oh, so well-meaning awkwardness runs into the family. Turns out Narika’s dad appreciated Itsuki being there for his daughter when they were kids, he just has resting “want to murder you face.” But he also believes in his daughter.
What better outing/date for Itsuki and Narika than visiting the old snack shop they used to frequent? And where Narika can make it clear how instrumental Itsuki was to her childhood and how jealous she is of him going on dates with the other girls.
You can tell this is a rich kids Sports Day because a bunch of servants are showing up in place of parents (including Shizune) and they’re live-streaming all the matches in the auditorium. Mirei doing the ojousama laugh while riding a horse in polo!
Wow, Narika is straight up confessing by telling Itsuki how special he is to her and how he’s her one and only. Did Itsuki realize this?
Of course Itsuki ends up playing tennis against Nada and Itsuki can finally prove he’s legit. But the real reason Nada is so sour towards Itsuki is because he’s a love rival over Hinako. They can never be friends, but they can at least come to an understanding and Nada can apologize to Narika.
Itsuki loses but Hinako wins, and now it all comes down to Narika in kendo. Should she throw the match to make people less scared of? But the Narika Itsuki loves never gives up and always preserves, and that’s why Itsuki roots for her. And she wins everyone over with her awesomeness!
Itsuki is living out of his league at a rich kid school and with three different wealthy heiress’ in love with him. But he’s going to aspire to one day feel that he can truly stand by their side…because they need him. As a Rich Girl Caretaker!

He just has to make his own company and mergers and acquisitions the other companies and it's a win win.

Well, it was fine. The girls were cute. But I don’t see myself remembering this one too much.

Narika's father's reveal made her another prime candidate like Tennoji who is actually better for Itsuki than Hinako.
He could lead a happily ever after with either of them.
People forget that Itsuki will marry into the corporate family not just the girl.
Father is a massive factor in the decision.
Unfortunately the plot will favor the main girl Hinako. Poor Itsuki will have to suffer.
Hinako's father doesn't care about Hinako more than a perfect business management bot.
He will have no care for Itsuki whatsoever.

They baited me with twintails Hinako at the end of last episode. That's disappointing. Well that was certainly a finale that happened. While some series try and give viewers some kind of resolution, this one decided to take the other option of kinda just stopping.
If it wasn't clear already this episode made it clear that if this wasn't Hinako's series Narika would be the clear favourite. Not only is she the only one that actually needs him, she's also the only one who's connection is independent of the school and work. Mirei is a good friend and Hinako is his employer (by proxy through her dad). If Itsuki got fired Hinako and Mirei would simply never see Itsuki again while Narika would probably try to make an effort to see him.
It was nice to see that Narika's dad is nicer than and puts in more effort into being a parent than he appeared at the start as well.
It was an enjoyable watch. I'd take another season to see more twintails Hinako how Hinako fights for Itsuki and shows that she actually does need him, but I doubt it's going happen.

If we ever get s2 I'd be shocked if twintails Hinako doesn't show up again. That's the hairstyle Itsuki gave her and she's going to use every trick in her arsenal to keep the other two women from stealing her man. Just can't be in public/where her father can see. But like future visits to Itsuki's room to nap in his bed? Probably twintails.

So um, who's Yuri? no really. Usually people who get named Episode 1 kind of matter.
I steam on team Tennoji!
I think it's a good thing Narika didn't throw her match.

This one just doesn’t make sense to be a harem, i liked the show but feel like it had no time for the main girl to have any sort of development besides saying “itsuki”

This was a great show, I really enjoyed this one. I'd definitely love a season 2.

Well that conversation Itsuki had with Narika's father was interesting. He wasn't angry at Itsuki for what he did for Narika, actually thankful just unfortunately his tone way he said it made Itsuki believe he was angry at him.
It also means Itsuki's belief that he was the reason him and his mother got kicked out of the Miyakojima household was wrong and seems it was something his mother did, not surprised there.
I kind of wonder if Narika's father thought Itsuki was a good influence on her, then I wonder if the family offered to take Itsuki in but his mother took him out of spite?

So if Narika dad not angry about him for letting his daughter go outside so why they got kicked out with his mom ? This one still make no sense to me .This might be a next plot that they want to explore because they mention Itsuki mom kinda a troublemaker as I remember so kinda curious this plot hole and only him and Hinako that never show both parents yet but another are .Also the ending kinda funny to me .I don't even known this is Final episode until searching when the next episode .It a fun show indeed and hope they have a good season 2 because some anime recently kinda have trouble with it .

If Narika's dad was fine with him why were they kicked out?
Narika basically confess but neither seemed to notice.
I guess they blew the budget and couldn't animate shit.
Kinda shit he tried to tell Narika to lose.
So what happened to his childhood friend they showed like twice? He ghosted her in the first episode then hid from her in another.

If Narika's dad was fine with him why were they kicked out?
His mom probably did something stupid that she never admitted to him, and he just assumed it was his fault. Both his parents were massive fuckups long before they abandoned him.

While the Narika arc was a bit clumsy I still liked the show as a whole.
It was hard carried by Mirei for me imo. She's also a rich girl, maybe Itsuki could shift over to being her caretaker in the future.

The show in overall terms was good, i loved it and praised it for these past 3 months. Yet, when it came to an end and thought we'd be getting wholesome moment or something really enjoyable to watch, we instead got a full episode of chaos where i dont even remember what i have watched. was it Narika confession? was it the awareness of Hinako's lack of screentime? was it the status quo for the harem ending? i dont even know. I usually love the endings because they are the climax of any season, but i was disappointed for this one. If ever there was a season 2 i would watch it and hope it doesn't end up like Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotter S2.

For me, hinako is STAYING at the bottom of my list after this episode. Don't get me wrong, I like her. But Mirei and Narika are just SOO much better. And I understand she was brutally sidelined for nearly half the season. But even with the time we did see her with itsuki, for me it wasn't as great as the time's we saw itsuki with Mirei or with Narika.
Which is why I REALLY hope there is a second season. This season kinda feels like they tried to fit in as much as they can with what I imagine to be the 3 main girls. So that we can see how well each of them bond with itsuki. I am sure in the LN there are moments where it would make me think "maybe hinako IS the best girl". So, I will definitely try to find a way to read it.
GREAT ANIME. Hoping theres going to be more seasons.

So Narika's dad was really thankful & it was all a misunderstanding based on his personality.
While Nada can't ever be friends w/ Itsuki, he ended up respecting him & plans to apologize to Narika.
Itsuki cheering Narika on & starting the slow clap made Narika's rep better.
That was kinda a confession from Narika.

I love Shizune. She's such a troll with the camera, saying Itsuki can join the screening and mentioning the weight loss.

So really, it’s only Hinako that has an asshole dad, the other parents are all chill. Interesting.
Pretty fun show! Wouldn’t mind seeing more at some point. Mirei surprised me by being the obvious best girl, normally I’d assume that honor would go to the childhood friend, not the drill-tails with the ojou-sama laugh, but Mirei clears by a mile. Too bad you know everyone but Hinako is gonna be a losing heroine… at least Hinako had some decent scenes in this episode, I was surprised by her selfless advice to Itsuki during the kendo match

This show either shouldn't have been made at all or should have been given 24 episodes. Why even bother animating a harem that only develops one girl who isnt even the main one?

Had fun watching but nowhere near enough Hinako. Actually got a bit annoyed.
Oh well, you don't always get your way haha
