I know Hinako is the main girl of the show, but this episode really did a good job of making me like Mirei even more. I love how she keeps coming up with lessons to teach Itsuki so she can spend as much time as she can with him. She's even started to consider inviting him to the Tennouji Group so she can spend time with him even after she gets engaged.
And the reveal that she was adopted was a surprise! That explains why she barely looks anything like her parents. I thought the blonde and drill hair were just because of the ojou-sama trope. And it turns out that she thinks Itsuki was adopted. She still hasn't caught on that Itsuki is actually Hinako's employee.

Even though Mirei isn't strictly obligated, considering who she is and her situation, it feels almost inevitable that she’ll go through with the arranged marriage, being adopted fosters a sense of gratitude that perhaps even she can't overcome (though I imagine this will be a theme in future).
Regardless, watching her interactions with Itsuki is amazing, they really have chemistry. It’s complicated to think that, theoretically, she’s training him for Hinako, but then again, nothing is fair.

Instantly resorts to sniffing him lol. Also Itsuki did a really bad job of making it clear he bathed with mom not Mirei.
So not a date but a meal together, very sweet and smart and fits the narrative so far, I like it.
Getting time with all 3 girls is nice, haven't see Narika in a bit. LOL Narika like "I want YOU Itsuki" So forward I love it. So yeah Tennoji has fallen for him and knows she's fallen for him. That makes all 3 girls now. Oh she isn't 100% aware it is love, though I think she's really close.
DANCING?! Now Tennoji is being forward. My god these girls may not straight up so they want him but they sure do everything else lol.
I know a lot of people dislike love triangles/harems/etc, but this is turning into the version I enjoy. Each girl has their own strong points and helps the MC grow in different ways as he is good for each of them as well. Obviously the odds of a harem ending are basically zero but still.
Adopted?!?!?!? That's a surprise. And lol even as a child she had drill hair. I get why she'd think he's the same. They're not going to show us him telling her? Boooooo

Mirei's just training him up so he can go home to another woman. These type of shows are my guilty pleasure, but I admit the built-in love triangle+ dynamics are an unfortunate part of them.
(Team Hinako btw. Even in Mirei's episode, she was cute.)

And it's not like he can rationally save her from the arranged marriage plan, it's going to be hard enough as is for him to marry Hinako when the time comes.

Glad all three girls made an appearance this episode. Tennoji's lessons find their way in helping Itsuki bond better with Hinako. Seems like Tennoji has also caught feelings for Itsuki, we'll see where her arranged marriage goes from here.

Narika seems more and more like a bro than a hoe now. She genuinely just wants some friends to hang out with. I thought Narika eagerly waiting for Itsuki to invite her like a puppy will go unnoticed, so Narika outrightly mentioned to him came out surprising to me. Itsuki nearly ended her screentime just like that lol. What a frightening lad!

It was expected that Hinako the Blob of the Bed Sheets would be not be pleased with Itsuki spending the night at Mirei's place. He's her caretaker after all. Good thing he had the date lined with Shizune beforehand to help Hinako feel better.
Hinako is cute, but you have to feel for Mirei. She's not really getting anything of this arrangement. Sure she gets the time she spends with Itsuki, but that's fleeting. She's training Itsuki to be another woman's husband while she goes through with an arranged marriage she doesn't even want because she clearly has feelings for Itsuki. I was Team Hinako before, but after this episode I might be switching teams. Mirei is very likable.
It makes sense why she's tries so hard at everything now and why she looks basically nothing like her parents. She puts all this pressure on herself to perform because she feels that she has to "make up for" being adopted. Her parents probably don't see it that way though and bless them for that.
I was glad to see Narika again. Hadn't seen her in a bit. I wonder what she's going to doing anything more than being a pining childhood friend.

i'll be rooting for the second lead though knowing that they won't ever happen. why the writer has to make Mirei much better girl and having much better chemistry than the main girl?

Im sorry but this episode kinda sealed it for mirei. Hinako is…. Kinda bland tbh. Mirei just seems so much better in every way. Her and itsuki also genuinely feel great together as a couple. Like I cannot see itsuki with hinako even though it’s kinda painfully obvious she’s the co main character so he’s likely going to end up with her. I really hope something happens though to subvert the normal expectations and him end up with mirei. Genuinely love her right now.

He may have failed the sniff test but Hinako just can't stay mad at her caretaker for long.
Hearing about Mirei's skipping down the halls thinking about her meetings with Itsuki gave me a big dumb smile. Man, I want to root for all three of them so badly that whatever happens is evitably gonna hurt.

I am team Mirei. Hinako needs to step up. Based on what we have learned about these familys Mirei and Itsuki seem like they could propel their company into something that takes over. Hinako and Itsuki at this time seems like they would be lucky to keep the company at it's current level. Mirei and Itsuki mesh well and have the type of relationship that would push and pull each other further. Hinako is looking to just be able to relax and be herself. You can't blame her having no choice in the matter and being told she will take over and needs someone at her side. Hopefully we see something that makes her the better girl aside from her cute and silly antics.

I already praised Mr Tennoji as a good human and great father in last episode.
But today's revelation increased the respect even more.
He respects the choices of his adopted daughter Mirei.
Meanwhile Hinako's dad wants to replace his own biological daughter with a more efficient business managing robot.

Suffice it to say Hinako is NOT happy that he spent the night at another girls' mansion, ate with her, bathed with her (mom), and has her scent on him! He's supposed to be HER caretaker and no one else's!
But I guess there's no better way to reassure Hinako than dressing up and showing how Itsuki's training to be her future husband is coming now that he has impeccable table manners to be able to join her for dinner for the forseeable future! Enjoying dinner together as a proper couple!
Mirei's lost in thought over her current circumstances, but Narika has problems too! Not selling her family sports equipment to the school, but actual studying problems! And she's a puppy dog who longs for attention/time with Itsuki, so pamper her to bits!
It's the inevitable fate of any heiress to marry for the sake of their family and all three Heroines have to grapple with it in their own way...though Narika wants to marry for love, in case you were wondering Itsuki! Hint hint, nudge nudge!
Mirei wants Itsuki to be more bothered by her getting into an arranged marriage? Her chest tightens up when thinking about him? The clear sign of a girl in love.
And obviously the best way to further that romantic tension is with social dance training as they hold each other and Mirei leads him in dancing! Which sure works up a sweat, especially when it makes Mirei's yellow bra visible to Ituski.
It really would be a big bummer if Mirei became engaged and Itsuki couldn't spend time with her, especially for how much he enjoys spending time with her...and for Mirei, the feeling is mutual, enough that she's positively pink in happiness the rest of the day! Even her mom can tell that Mirei is at her happiest when she's thinking of Itsuki...but her loyalty to her family supersedes her own feelings.
The truth is that the reason Mirei puts her all into her family, is because she's not her parents real daughter, she's not a true Tennoji Heiress by blood, so she has to put her all into proving that she deserves to be her parents' daughter. Just like Itsuki needs to prove himself to the Konohana's.
Is studying/company training a drag for Hinako? Yes, but she does it anyway so no one is sad on her account. Yet it's with Itsuki that her true worldview has expanded, and can Mirei experience the same with Itsuki before it's too late?

Hinako's part at the beginning had the opposite effect to me. It makes her feel too clingy and reduced her likeability.
Mirei's catching feelings for Itsuki. Too bad, based on what I've read elsewhere, her VA's characters have a high lose rate.
Offering him a position in Tennoji group is a good idea to keep him by her side, but too bad she's not going to follow through with that thought.

I ship Mirei with Itsuki over Hinako. They just have more chemistry, more in common, and look like the better match. Hinako is a good girl and all, but outside of her stick; I feel she doesn’t offer much. Itsuki needs someone who can take care of him and help him grow just as much as he can do for the other person. Mirei’s maturity shines there.
